I had a great experience buying an Acura car from the Acura Honolulu dealership. Milton, a sales rep, exceeded all my expectations. He was kind, friendly, and experienced in helping me pick the right car for me. I bought a car with a great warranty, oil change plan and he even referred me to an awesome insurance company, so it was a one-stop-shop for me. Milton was absolutely an amazing sales rep and person. He didnt pressure me to buy a car or a warranty. He was able to answer all my questions and was kind and patient letting me make my own decision without any pressure. I greatly appreciate Miltons help and very happy with my car.

Things are done too on-line that the consumer has to be on top of it. I had scheduled my maintence servicing through Thomas Miyagi, Jr., but Service didnt have the appt. but they took me anyway since the wiper blades were to be replaced at n/c. I had requested printed copies of the two 400 page manuals through Thomas via e-mail, but I forgot about it, and they didnt have any record of it. The courtesy drop off and pick up was really a nice time to talk to other Acura owners and the driver.
Zero Stars. They do not honor negotiated price even though you put deposit. Never been treated so horrible. Salesman are ok, but Management is crooked. Avoid at all costs.
My daily was running into some repair issues and I was looking around for options in regards to purchasing a car. Initially the office was very helpful called me and just wanted to provide me an idea on what I would be looking at so hence I provided them my personal information to prepare a quote etc., first time it didnt seem to go through on their website so they had me do it again. This happened back in Feb 2021 and guess what, to this day they did not even get me any information on a monthly rate, etc. I advised them early on that my credit was not that great, and Milton promised that he would do his best and come back with what I could expect. That never happened, its like they just took my information and didnt care to provide me my details - even if the rate wasnt something I could work with I expected and DESERVED a report/call back.. you took my personal information and just basically ghosted me. That type of customer service is unheard of - not only did you not get back to me on your promise i now have two hard inquiries on my account for something I didnt hear a response for. Total waste of time, i felt like once they got my report I didnt matter. But inquiring on my account 2x and not even giving me a call back, its sad and super unprofessional.
I Called Service Advisor Larry Yip on a very busy Saturday morning for him with an unusual request on behalf of my neighbor, a medical doctor, and Larry immediately offered an awesome solution to the problem and within a few hours he sent out one of his top technicians to switch out a defective battery, under warranty, at the Doctors residence.I have been doing business with various dealerships for many years in my lifetime as I am a member of the Senior Community and Larry Yip is an awesome Service Advisor and deserves many more that Five Stars!!He launched into action to solve the problem without putting me on hold or having to consult with the Service Manager!! I could not have asked for a more patient and friendlier salesman! Milton at Acura of Honolulu was the sweetest! He really did his BEST to meet the needs and wants that I had in getting me into my brand spanking NEW 2020 Acura RDX! Closest thing to my DREAM Car! I really wanted the A-spec but that was clearly out of my range.Staff there was super friendly as well, some of the guys even sat and watched the Lakers win this years Basketball Championship Game! Although she was a bit tired from the 6.5 hours that we spent there, I was glad that their facility was super clean, there was coffee, water, vending machines AND LOVELY AC which made the wait a little more bearable for myself and my Mom.Unfortunately, my car needed to go back in the next day because it was having a little technical issue and they had no problem getting my car in early the next morning and putting me in another awesome loaner while they worked on my car.No doubt, I would highly recommend going here! Hands down, this really was a great experience!
I had a short-notice service request due to running over a large screw that completely deflated my tire. The Service Dept took me in and efficiently fixed my tire, ensure I had a ride back to the Dealership and had a freshly cleaned auto. Quick and excellent service. So appreciated the personal touches to ensure I was taken care of.
Courteous and friendly. also, answered any questions I had. facility was very clean with beverages and snacks.
Great customer service. Attendant greeted as I pulled up for brake service. Promptly sent me over to Larry, the service consultant, to workup my service order. Waiting area was clean and spacious. Refreshments were provided for customers. Shuttle service is provided. Overall, Acura of Honolulu made the brake service hassle-free and very good experience.
These people are the best!!! Got there about a half hour early and they just took me in and the job done in a reasonable amount of time. From check-in to explaining what would be done and attention to me while I waited was exceptional.

My SO, and myself had a truly amazing experience with this company. I would recommend the team at Acura of Honolulu to anyone. Our sales consultant Bob (Robert Sarae) was amazing.We were greeted warmly when we walked up, but not in a pushy sort of greet. Just an honest Hello, how are you folks tonight. That honest, straight forward and considerate attitude really won us over.I do not like being pressured to buy and am one of the most indecisive people you will ever meet. I also despise car shopping, and car salesmen. I can honestly say whole heartily Bob was the first one I really liked. He asked what we were looking for, and we were honest. We had no idea. We just wanted to prepare for a future and expand on space from my 2dr coupe. We knew we wanted leather seats, we knew we wanted white or silver, had to have a backup camera, and we knew we wanted something with trunk space.Great start, right? Well Bob took it in stride.He asked us more questions, like what had we looked at. What did we wanted out a vehicle (what was important vs what we were willing to wiggle with)? He asked if we preferred to lease or finance. This is where Bob really became a game changer for us. We had always financed. He took the time to explain leasing, and financing in great detail BEFORE we looked at vehicles. He explained the major benefits of BOTH, and the draw backs. He didnt try to pressure us into one deal or the other. He let us make the right decision for us.We took a couple of cars out to test drive, each time he took the time to show ALL the features that were important to US. He took the time to explain how Acuras difference in drive train and steering due to their unique design. He didnt try to sell the car, he just pointed out what it had that we wanted in it. He let the car do the talking.After we were finished driving, He found the best way to get rid of the car loan, and vehicle we currently had with saving me the most equity. Because I’m indecisive, after the first round of numbers I still wasnt convinced leasing a new car was for us. Bob never pushed us or made me feel bad for wanting to leave after his HOURS of work with us.After coming back the following day and looking at yet a different vehicle Bob was never impatient or rude that we had changed our minds. He showed us the new car type and went over its features and during the test drive explained everything we needed all over again for us.He even went over what running numbers on the same vehicle used vs new would look like, and how our payments would differ. Not once did he push us one way or the other simply added in his two sense on what the options were. He probably spent a total of 6-8 hours with us for the process between the two days. Not ever making us feel unwanted, or that we were using up too much of his time. He made us feel welcome, and comfortable the entire time.While we completed the paperwork, He worked with finance to find us the best deals honoring me being a student, but also military appreciation! He explained everything in detail and took the time to go through each paper with us instead of just trying to get signatures.BJ helped us through signing the paperwork and working out the financing and she does a fantastic job of explaining everything and answering all your questions about the contracts, and legality terms. I appreciated that she came out and greeted us before the process started, and it never felt like we were being shuffled from person to person.After Bob stayed to help us set our phones, and key fobs, driver settings, and my navigation system. He took the time to explain in further detail features of the vehicle that werent previously mentioned and ask if we had any questions. Because they didnt have a detail person available there on a Sunday. He offered for us to bring in the vehicle anytime the following week, and he would have it taken care of.Bob and BJ you set a pretty epic standard for car sales. Thank you so much for all your help, and education through the process. We couldnt be happier.
Initially I came in for an oil change. Upon arrival, I was greeted immediately and serviced immediately. They were so kind and efficient. Not to mention, upon doing my oil change they found that there were 2 recalls on my vehicle so they also fixed those for free! Which, again awesome. Larry Yip was my specific advisor and he was nothing short of professional and accommodating. I highly recommend Acura of Honolulu. Brought my car in for a recall & safety check to Acura of Honolulu. They also provide a complimentary wash & vacuum. I was able to wait in the comfortable lounge where there was free bottled water, snacks & a cool coffee machine! It even made lattes! One thing I would recommend is having charging stations for cell phones. Overall I have to say that Larry & his team provided excellent & friendly service and I will definitely be back!
Took car in to fix AC. Tried to charge us an additional $5,000 to fix the timing belt and alternator. Said car wont start if I dont. I told them no thanks, started the car up that they said wouldnt start, drove home, and checked everything out myself. To my surprise… nothing was wrong.

Quick and convenient service. They informed me they would be giving me a quick complimentary wash and vacuum before the service, but when they were finished, I had to go and ask for it to be done. They give me the that complimentary service every time I go, but then they said they only give it to Acura vehicles specifically? Then why did you tell me I would be getting it before we started the servicing?Anyway, I love their new service department, and the employees are courteous and helpful.

Overall, great job, except the person that gets in the driver seat changed things from the original position and never put them back, such as drivers seat out of position, right passenger seat too far forward, air conditioning on, and radio off! Shuttle driver did an excellent job. Thank you.

The facility is newly renovated and modern; they give you loaner cars, constant communication about the status of your repairs and maintenance, and courteous customer relations - Jacob P. was my service advisor the last two, maybe three times and went above and beyond. I cant say enough about how professional and attentive the service department has been. I have been a loyal customer for 16 years and very happy to do business here.

I recently purchased my first vehicle and was blessed to have Shawna as my sales rep/Angel. I had no clue what I was looking for nor how to maneuver throughout the process. Without Shawna helping me, I would still be aimlessly searching ads for vehicles. At no point did I feel pressure to purchase my vehicle, or spend more than I let her know what I could afford. She made me feel confident and fully supported and honestly she was more worried about me being satisfied, than she was with making a sale! This was the best car buying experience ever... Until working with Colin at Acura of Honolulu, I had been to 3 different dealerships and had very long drawn out and soul taxing experiences. Keris is the best Service Advisor I’ve ever worked with! Despite her reduced hours and hectic schedule caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, she remained professional and insured that a difficult to isolate but persistent vibration issue with my car was resolved. It was actually a used car with a 60-day warranty that my wife and I purchased, but during the warranty period Keris treated us with respect and concern as if we had purchased new car.It was great working with Randy to help us find the used car. He was very easy going and patient during the whole process. What we most appreciated about him is that he isn’t an aggressive high pressure sales man.

Aloha. We scheduled recall work with Acura of Honolulu and had a great experience. We were warmly greeted as soon as we pulled up by the young lady that checked us in. We were assigned to Frank, and after getting a good cup of coffee we were called over. Frank explained the details of the service, made the paperwork painless and gave us the loaner car. The work was finished in the afternoon, we returned the loaner and picked up our very clean MDX. The whole team, from receptionist, service check-in, service advisor, to the detail team was professional and lived out aloha. We’ll be glad to come back.

Paul F. and Joe F always take care of me. They make sure my car is okay as well as my family. Because of them, my sister is looking at purchasing the RDX. They keep me posted on the progress of my car and help me get a loaner car when available. The service of taking your patrons to their next destination and pick up back to the dealership is a wonderful one. This past service, I had to bring my car in ASAP (after work) since it was in driving condition. Paul took it, wrote up the service order and the next day, had my car worked on and completed before lunch. This included the complimentary wash and vacuum. I didnt have an appointment. Thank you so much for taking care of me. If I ever move to the mainland, it will be hard to beat the kind of service and love that I receive at Honolulu Acura.

$3000 ended up paying $75-100.....My wife brought my car in and was given 3 different price quotes for warranty work. I told my wife to call me no matter what they tell you. I talked to the service person and he tried explaining to me saying we dont have warranty. Tried telling me I didnt buy it and since it wasnt new you dont get a warranty. I bought mine used with an Acura warranty for 3 years. I even told him I bought warrant and said they dont do that. I worked as a mechanic so I knew it didnt coverage normal wear like tires wiper blades etc. It was electrical problem. Then I told my wife give him warranty work and I asked why 3 different prices for OEM parts and labor. He played stupid and was like oh... oh yea that warranty yea thats different but yea it will cover. Needless to say they tried charging us almost 3k but only ended up paying $75-100. Shady customer service.

We sold our Acura to Acura of Honolulu almost 3 months ago. We have yet to receive the check from them for the sale. We have called them numerous times. We just get the answer - we’ll look into or they never return our calls. It shouldn’t require us to do so much work just to get our money. I think this reflects on their ethics and what type of service you can expect from them.

This is my second time servicing my MDX. Both times was quick and easy. I was immediately greeted by name upon arrival. My loaner car was pulled up to the front and ready to go. Frank was so helpful. The whole process took less than 15 minutes. He even installed my car seat base in the loaner car. SO HELPFUL! They even washed and vacuumed my car which was so nice because She needed a cleaning! The new service area has complementary water and coffee and the restrooms are so nice, spacious and clean WITH a changing table! 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent service. My Service Provider, Larry, is always thoroughly efficient with explaining everything that needs immediate attention as well as what we need to keep an eye on that will require maintenance in the near future. The service is always quick so waiting in the comfortable waiting area allows for relaxing time to catch up on work (and I am kept current as to the status of the appointnent as well), even though free shuttle transportation is available too. In comparison to my experiences at other service appointments with other dealerships, both in the mainland and on island (also with a 2d vehicle - different brand), Acura of Honolulu has the best service and the best customer service by far! Parts are always available, appointments are flexible and easy to get, service is high quality, quick and efficient, and customer service is not only professional but friendly like family. As an added bonus, they wash and vacuum the car so it not only comes out running better, but looking better than when I arrived. Overall win win experience!

Thanks to the coordinator, I was able to et a same-day appointment to change out my car battery. The battery was changed within an hour which also included a 4-point check and wash & vacuum. Acura provide excellent customer service, and it was especially nice waiting in the brand new showroom lounge. Had the technician set the clock on the dashboard, Id give them 5-stars.

My service rep gave an overview of what to expect and a time frame for the service job. My car got a free wash and vacuum. The loaner was great (RDX) and was called after about 4 hours that my car was ready to be picked up. Best service treatment ever received!
Mr.T. lee is the very best. I went to 2 other car places and he was so nice pleasant and no fast talk.l gave me.Lee a hard time but he was so patient with me.what a nice experience. Great service, got a new tire due to a nail. Only issue I had... all 4 tires were different tire pressure. I had to go and add some air or let air out. Took me about 20 mins to do all 4 tires. Other than that, the service at Acura is awesome.
We bought our daughter a car from there last year and was initially told no local banks would finance us and had to use a mainland creditor. We were given a 15% interest rate even with money down. We advised wed shop around and signed for the car. We got in touch with our credit union which offered us a 3.99% interest rate and they approved the loan. We immediately notified Acura of Honolulu and was advised the finance manager was on vacation and we had to wait until he returned. We asked for another finance manager and that manager said they couldnt help, we had to wait for our finance manager. We got in touch with our finance manager later and he said there was nothing we could do. He didnt know. I reminded him of the initial interest rate in which he claimed was the best and he said oh it was based on the money you put down. I said really, because we could have put more cash down for a better rate. Long story short, bad customer service and high interest rate.Will never buy another car from that dealership again.

They are very helpful to the customer, and provide great customer service from beginning to end!!I have never had a bad experience with the service department, and I have always appreciated the good communication between the department and me. Its my first time at Acura as I was taking in my moms car. I must say Customer Service was on point at this place. Very quick with service as my moms passenger side rear had a nail inside. It took about 45 mins and they washed the car and vacuumed inside.
Larry provided excellent services for the promptly notification when the car is ready to pickup and the follow up. Great job!

BOTS LOLUPDATE: Truck had a few accidents, how did you guys cover it up with the carfax you showed me when I purchased???Its hard to resell at this point.I recently purchased my first newer vehicle from your dealership. A 2016 Tacoma with 23K Miles. Recently the radio stopped working. The radio came completely stock. I took the vehicle into multiple stereo shops, the Toyota Servco Dealership which they said they rarely see problems with. The problem was the deck itself which I had to replace for $1,000 +The whole reason I purchased the truck from you for the price I did ($30K+) was to avoid petty fixes like this.$30K may not be a lot to you, or $1K may not be a lot to you. But this did hurt me financially as I do pay $500 a month just to pay off the truck.I would appreciate some type of compensation for the radio. Im not asking for the whole cost, Im asking for something that shows your dealership cares.You gave me absolutely no discount on the truck promising me it was as good as new. With the radio going out after 1,000 miles Im afraid what else will be going out soon!147 Reviews on YELP which shows 3 stars, 700 + Reviews on Google? Most 5 Stars? Besides liking Acura in general, Jason Thai made us feel that Acura appreciates our loyalty. He also went over the features on the RDX and even helped us set up personal features. The whole experience was painless! We also appreciate that Acura continues to improve on features on their cars.

Randy was amazing to work with. He was no hassle and took extremely great care of us. Some friends and I arrived to the dealership late and even though the process was taking some time (mostly due to myself and many customers), Randy drove us to get something to eat while we waited. My process was held up due to just arriving to the island and not having a permanent address and Rick Massey, the finance manager, made sure everything was correct with my lease. Randy and Rick exemplified what customer service should be!
Randy from the Acura dealership was a genuine professional who was very relaxed when assisting us. Despite not being able to make a deal the other day we will be going back and will be asking for him. If you ever go to the dealership make sure to ask for Randy!
I never have to worry when I take my car to Acura for service. The service reps always explain whats going to be done and review the charges with you. They will also give you options based on the situation. Its nice to be able to keep going back to the same person time after time! All of the Courtesy Drivers are very friendly and a few have been around for a while. Its sad when they retire! Best of all, my car is always returned to me washed & vacuumed!
