This Savers is the larger of the ones I’ve seen. Tons of stuff to browse and potentially purchase. If you ask me, this is where younger folks and new to the island folks should come to get their kitchens started. Great deals on all that stuff. Wasn’t overcrowded, was clean when we went, and it seems they are always adding new items to the racks. Check ‘em out.
Always great place to get great finds. Love when certain items are half off
Clean store and does not smell like an old item shop. Items placed orderly on shelves. Small details like taping together matching pot lids to pots are attended to. Check out aisles well organized and free cashier rings a bell for the next person in line. Biggest help to customers is employees wear distinctive mint green color shirts with Savers imprinted in them.
Its quite a cheap place to go to and if you go to the store on monday you get 25% off your purchases but I mean its just sketchy looking but its ok and perfect for school clothes shopping. The first time I went there a child went missing and no one reacted immediately and also, everything is second hand. But the price is very good!
Good for searching to find bargains if you have the time to do so...over priced clothes vs. other used clothing stores. I like that they do offer you coupons when donating items which is a plus. As well as they have a color deal every day for 50% off.
Everything really over priced. Extremely Long line and only one cashier!! 50% off Sale color was almost impossible to find through out the store. They do have a big selection if your willing to pay such high prices
You want to blow a couple of hours? This is a good place to treasure hunt. You can find almost anything you dont need but its worth it. Go check them out. There are two locations
Always clean, neat &full of great bargains🤙
Always find somekind of treasure.
Its a Savers. Its basically the same as a salvation army or goodwill. Thet have lots of different things for cheap prices, but theres usually a reason these things were given away. So buy at your own risk. And I dont know, they do have them cleaned before hand, but lots of people touch them in the stores so Id still wash things first.
Savers is the best...super cool!!! My husband and I visit every Saturday morning and find awesome bargains. So much clothing including designer brands, housewares, books. toys.etc. Senior day is on Tuesday and they have discounted color tags and discount coupons if you donate too!!!! Have a blast with the entire family and give them a visit..you will surely find that hidden treasure❤
Well organized, prices on certain items are a bit higher for being a thrift shop and most important you cant Social Distance.
Savers is always great! Always new items and nice people.
Great finds, however, prices of some donated items getting close to retail prices 😢
A little pricey for second hand, but you can find some cool clothes here.
Great deals on certain things as long as you look them over thoroughly enough.
Lots of clothes and housewares. Got a couple of tennis racquets so guests can join us.
Best deals! Great place to buy kitchenware thats expensive when regularly priced.
Everything is so crazy over priced in here! $10.99 for a used t-shirt. $17.99 for board shorts. This place has the best selection in Oahu, but they price the stuff like they are TJ Maxx or Ross!!!! I hope the profits goto a good cause!
Staff friendly and helpful. Found some great buys.
Dropped off stuffs to donate and did a little bit of shopping with discount.
Ive been going to Savers for years, from way back in the day when they were in Aikahi Park (late.70s early 80s) and on Maui too.in the 90s.. Big Island needs one on each side..I always find great things at the Dillingham Savers, today haul was 2 foldable bins to carry recycle bags in trunk. The most adorable on the go beach bag, 2 really nice costume bracelets, 2 earrings, 2 Victoria Secrets sports bras, brand new ...This is a must stop if you are near Dillingham in Kalihi.
Excellent stuff excellent prices
RUMMAGE SALE EXTRAVAGANZA HERE!
Huge shopping area w/ tons of options. I felt like if I looked long enough, I could find anything clothes-related.
Savers is awesome...just bought a Fossil vintage bag for only $9.99. Such awesome bargains. Savers is the place I visit every Saturday morning. You have got to check it out👍.
Fantastic thrift store! Super organized and clean. Very friendly staff.
Some good deals all around.
Clean store, prices are a bit high
Found exactly what I was looking for.
The staff keeps their store very clean and they are very friendly and helpful. Lots of bargains!!!Its a sign of great leadership. Hands on, has everything under control. Easy to see that she leads by example thru the actions of the staff. I highly recommend this awesome place of business.
Lots of great items. Inexpensive.
Its good. They have a lot of stuff. I found exactly what I was looking for. Brand new too.
Huge thrift store. They are doing limited entry right now so you may have to wait in line, but there are some pretty good deals. Ask for the color of the week for 50% off. Double check the baggies, some are overpriced.
If you are willing to look through racks of clothing and shelves of stuff and walls with hanging bagged items, you will definitely find something cool. Prices are decent. There is something for everyone.
Good place to check out only problem is no restroom and if staff tells you go to burger king or to this fast food dont believe them myself and 3 other guess went to burger King are restroom are for there customers this savers has NO Restroom please dont lie to our customers and guess cause the 3 I met was from San Diego, mahalo
Great selection of pre-owned items here.
I am a frequent customer of the Dillingham Savers. Whenever I’ve need to buy something I for my home or my family I’ve always made it a point to shop at Savers first. I have always come away satisfied with my purchases from Savers which is why I return.Unfortunately this evening was the first time I walked away from your store in complete disappointment. I spent close to 45 minutes in your dish area trying to find an assortment of teacups. To my utter dismay when I reached the register I was informed that the individual teacups would not be sold to me. Supervisor Mona insisted that I had to buy the entire ‘set’ of dishes if I wanted the teacups. She seemed upset and started speaking in another language under her breath when I refused to buy the incomplete set of dishes. Why are we paying for ‘sets’ of dishes that are used, dusty, chipped/worn, and often mismatched/incomplete?!?When we come to your thrift shop we are not expecting to find full sets of anything or be made to pay for incomplete sets of anything - that’s the point! It’s THRIFT shopping!Sorely disappointed with Savers and my daughter and I will be looking for other places to shop at a bargain before I come back to your store.
It was ok
The prices are higher than new on some things. Especially craft items yarn and stationery items. Not as fun to shop as it used to be because things are much higher than they used to be.
I wanted to decorate my treehouse and they had EVERYTHING i wanted and more. The staff are superfriendly and i saved like $130!!! Super happy. So much better than any Goodwill or 2nd hand store ive ever been to in NY, CA, FL, VA, DC etc. They keep it clean and organized. Did i say how nice the staff were??? Awesome.
Seriously overpriced now and NO SOCIAL Distancing its like filipino haven and swap meet in there.
Excellent prices and staff!
I love this place I spent $60 got like three jackets one vest two sweaters and a layering shirt and a bag to carry it home in I would give this place five stars except for the obviously racially partial employees that work for this place you just seem to snub their nose at white people
This Savers is always good to shop at. Employees are always friendly and informative. Prices are the best.
Great service
This is the best used clothes store on the island, Ive done all my clothing need shopping at saver, love it!
Savers is my favorite thrift shop, I love that the clothing is sorted by size and the kitchen ware is well organized. Note that exchanges are limited to clothing only now.
Experience...beautiful!
Love thrift shopping. You never know what gems you might find
This place amazes me and not in a good way. Everything Savers gets, are all donations we the public donate to Cerebral Palsy and then they deliver it to Savers to sell. So everything is 2nd, 3rd or 4th hand owned. So I cant believe the prices that they list stuff at over here. A lot of things that you think would or should be cheap are higher or just ad much buying it at the store. Some things of course are cheap. But everything should be cheap. After all they are donations and this store is getting them for free. I seriously cant believe how they price some of these items. They should be ashamed.
Great and reasonable prices and hard to find items in this store and some goodies. Mahalo
Fun place to spend some time. Lot of interesting items to be had. U name it they got it. U can spend hours just looking around. But I seldom walk out empty handed. Fun looking at shoppers. How happy & excited they are when they find a treasure.
Unfortunately, crime has hit our family as well. My 86 year old grandmothers purse got stolen from Savers in Kalihi. She wont be shopping there anymore and replacing her IDs, cards, and bank account has been upsetting to say the least. Im surprised that nothing has been done by the store.
Good selection and always find nice stuff.
I enjoy shopping at Savers. I can almost always find something for any member of my family. Many designer brands are available. There was a long check out line but it went by quickly. Prices are on the high side but you can find bargains.
The other day, my husband and I used itI am a Japanese traveler.Very much, many items are organizedIt was an easy to understand store. Also, put a smartphone in the fitting roomWhen left behind, kind and appropriate responseI was very pleased to be the direction of the staff.Thank you.It became good memories of the trip.
Absolutely love this place!!
I just happened to stop in on National T-Shirt Day - all t-shirts were $.99! It was busier than usual, but they had enough employees on hand, so the line moved quickly. Savers is a little more expensive than other thrift stores, but their merchandise is organized by gender, color, & size and their employees are friendly and helpful. If youre a member of the Super Savers Club, you can take advantage of the 50% off color and other specials. The selection is vast so expect to spend a little time searching for your next bargain! And while Savers is a for profit organization, they do support local charities.
If its called savers why are the prices so high ?
Super happy with how much i saved! Came to day 7.2.17 for the savers club card sale. 50% off all clothes bed n bath stuff. Saved 48 dollars off my total bill. Got a bunch of clothes for me n my girls! Jah Bless!
Lots of variety, but a little expensive. For Hawaii it is better choices than Goodwill
Love this store!! Great variety of clothing, well organized, staff friendly. Neighbor island shoppers get 25% off but need to show your boarding pass and ID w/address.
Organized, clean. efficient.,well stocked. Items clean, marked and displayed for convenient selection.
Retail treasure hunting at a bargain. Where the polar opposites of junk and value meet for commerce communion.
Pretty sad actually but sometimes you can find that 1 deal that made the trip worthwhile.
Just browsing, the used books are a bit much, liked it when they capped it at $2.99. Now its over priced. I used to be a repeat customer almost weekly shopping spending at least $500 a month now I personally capped my spending to $150 a month. Looking for better deals elsewhere. Now I just browse and tell myself walk away to much. Other than that, lifes good. Aloha
Clean facility. A bit pricey for some items, but if you look hard enough, you can find really good deals! They have good senior deal days, and sales too
I always fine great designer bags, shoes and clothing for a great price.
Okay my rating is just based on a single experience. The employees are nice but I think I was dealing with the manager because she had an employee ask for her check earlier. Anyhow, I paid 99 cents for those great big red bags that say Savers on them and when I put it in my car it had a rip and some black marks on the bag. So of course Im not going to accept that because all I know its going to fall apart on me when I carry it into my classroom. The worse part was they tried to blame it on me. Wow great customer service manager really over 99 cents?
Great place for second hand items
Love Savers!!!! I usually shop at Savers in Tucson, AZ. but Im relocating to Hawaii and am thrilled there are two locations. Its a fun and affordable place to shop. One stop shop because all different brands are there.
It was a great experience to learn. Watch people develop. Raise children and their flocks. Sometomes we save on. Go as much as you can.
Found some housewares for my living room and some books for my collection. They have a wide varieties of things in there. Nice place to shop at if youre on a budget in regards to housewares, and clothes (not out of fashion).
They have some good selection. I almost always find something I like. Sometimes it can be a little pricey for second hand, but usually its OK.
Friendly staff. Some items are pricey for a thrift store but it has a little of everything. And if youre looking for a specific item; I.E I was looking for a sterling silver necklace and didnt see one that caught my eye, they took my name and number down and called me within a week saying they got more that I might like. Mondays are 20% off and Wednesdays are 20% off for military. I reccomend at least stopping by. You wont regret it!
Store was extremely busy today because of 50% off for the 4th of July holiday sale. Its good that they have sales like that to move stock in the store so they can rotate more donated items coming in. Staff was very friendly!
Great place for deals, and decent stuffs!!
Good selection of items, and store is actually very clean! The staff however, are not the most helpful.
Pretty clean and well organized. One of my favorite stores and much better than the Waipahu location.
Favorite shopping & browsing store. Check out savers to view my pictures...
Awesome place to donate things . Kidney Foundation, Spring Cleaning!
I was so lucky at Savers! I found a CD by Sergio Mendes and Brasil 66! It has some of my very favorite songs: Mais Que Nada, Look Of Love, and The Fool On The Hill!
Excellent experience with an excellent customer service representative bed the name of Lindsay, who got me what I need, and more than I asked for, by going out of your way to go over to another store and get the product that I needed in time for when I needed it by, since I could not wait for legal reasons.
Savers is good if you want cheap clothing. I bought a pair of blue jeans for $3 today. But the appliances are too expensive. You can get brand new for about the same price.
In the past Savers in Waipahu was where I shopped. Having moved to Honolulu, the Dillingham location is where I now go. Their selection of childrens clothes isnt as nice as Waipahu, but I have managed to find my girls some cute garments there. I also used to be able to find nice blouses for myself in Waipahi but not so much at Dillingham. During the 50% off sales (sign up for their emails to learn when they take place!), parking can be problematic, the checkout line wraps around the store, and its hard to come across a shopping cart (the kind you push). Yet, its always great to save 50%. Oh, and the long line typically moves pretty fast. Be prepared to wait, though. Overall, Im grateful for Savers. Ive been able to score nice items for my family and our home.
Always a positive surprise. Best prices. Macbooks for $40?
Today not to crowded. Cashiers like usual is always friendly.
HUGE selections in all departments, fair pricing, give or take.
Good finds, anytime of the day really. Not too packed in the later hours
Good prices. Clean and roomy spaces on clothes
Go with an open mind. Youll be surprised to find treasures.
I love savers always great deals to be found. Check the women’s outerwear for men’s jackets as they don’t always sort those correctly
Oftentimes I find NEW clothes at super cheap price
Always have unique finds. Household to stylish clothing.
They get FREE clothes from the community donations and sells them for 100+% profit!!! Your better off shopping at Old Navy or Wal-Mart. Atleast Its new...for the same price, go buy yourself something new. Oh yeah, its a good place to get ukus!
