Id like to give my people a better rating but I cannot. The attitude that the employees have is more of a narcissistic attitude, when every armor In the mainland has more experience. Everything is over priced and they lack general knowledge. I brought a few items in, to have serviced, by the time I was done asking some questions, I decided I will not be leaving anything here and will be taking them to Texas to be worked on. Oddly enough my armor in Texas is from Big Island, and he can vouch for the nonsense young guns does. Horrible service and they talk down to customers. Shame on you.

Decent inventory. Excellent service. They make you feel like a valued customer. A little cluttered but just let them know what you are looking for and they will spend time with you until you find it. No high pressure sales or arrogant gun store attitude so common in other places (including the mainland). A great group of people and a solid store.

Upon entering the store I noticed a wide selection of long arms, pistols, air rifles, knives and flashlights. They also have ample stock of other safety equipment, gun cases, and accessories for other firearms. They were pretty busy but tended to my inquiries of buying my first firearm very quickly. I was looking for a compact pistol that I may use for concealed carry after I leave the island. Immediately I was presented 4-5 pistols to handle and manipulate. I needed the NRA safety course and was signed up for a class the very next day. Price was $150 which is a little steep in comparison to others that were $100 but I happily obliged. Once I was able to complete the course I purchased my CZ-P10c which was on sale and lower than standard gun store prices by about $30-60. Paid cash and was given my bill of sale to take to the PD and apply for my permit. Throughout my entire experience with the store I felt extremely welcomed and that they really do care about their customers. They recognized me the next time I arrived and truly believe my purchase was well spent and their manners and warm welcome made me want to buy from them even more.I hope this review is seen by others to help them come to the shop and check it out. Truly amazing and friendly staff who are knowledgeable and will help you especially when buying your first gun. Excellent.

Friendly and knowledgable service with solid inventory and fair pricing considering the current pandemic

A extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. Being a new gun owner the staff was able to answer all my questions and recommend a wide variety of cleaners and gun oils! During the process I did not feel pushed to buy making the experience all the more enjoyable.

The guys here are awesome. They are not only knowledgeable, but also super friendly to everyone who walks in the door. They have a great selection, and lots of stuff that goes on sale. This has quickly become my new favorite spot.

Amazing Selection and Service

Super nice and helpful staff with all the goods to go along. It seems like they would have just about anything you could want or need. Tons of ammo, rifles and handguns, scopes, rings, cases, targets, reloading gear and more. Glad I stopped in.

We really just went in there to ask them about the gun laws in HI.. They answered every question we had. We looked around and they showed us every gun we asked to see. Not once did they make us feel unwelcome especially when we told them that we was from out of town.Great customer service!!!! Mahalo!!

I called the store and spoke with Don about ordering a firearm. He said he was gonna check with the owner and NEVER got back with me. So I took my business to OGC Tactical and have no regrets.

Great price on ammo horrible customer service for returns. Bought a Hogue grip didnt fit my firearm tried to return it for store credit and buy more ammo but didnt have the receipt. Lost my business manager cant even work with me for a 10 dollar grip. Now its just sitting in my closet.

Good local place if you really need something gun related and cannot absolutely wait for something cheaper from Amazon, Midway, or whoever this place is very expensive on items that shouldnt be ammo is priced pretty much like every other place on Oahu.
