My favourite 100yen store from Japan! I know there is one in Pearl-harbor side which opened first but it was too popular to get in when it opened. This one is also always busy and the parking is super small but parking staff is doing a great job. Of course here its at least $1.5 and more expensive but most of the things come from Japan so ... cant complain. The items are not only cheap but good ideas and convenient. I always buy too many every time I go there. Items in stock are always different so if you find something you like, dont wait till the next time but just get it otherwise you may never see it again.

Japanese dollar store with the majority of items priced at $1.50. Some unique finds like socks meant to be worn with slippers, papers that soak up the fat when cooking soups, mini shape cutters to liven up your kids’ lunches. Overall, though, there wasn’t anything I had to have, and I’d rather pay a couple bucks more for the convenience of the much larger parking at Don Q or Walmart.

My favorite Daiso.....welcome to Hawaii!!! Parking space is pretty limited but I think this is good to prevent more customers inside the store. If parking is huge, it will be huge crowd and chaos in the store. Yes, my wait time to park a car was about 5 minutes but shopping was comfortable with not too many people. The more time you spend there, the more interesting items you will find!!!

I love Daiso so much! This location doesnt have a lot of parking so it can be a little stressful if youre pressed for time. There are so many cute items and theyre constantly adding new merchandise. Its all sales final BUT if you think you might like something, Id recommend just buying it. Most items are $1.50 but there are other items marked higher. Theres a little bit of everything, home decorations, snacks, beauty, accessories, office supplies. Thats not even half of the categories they carry. Overall, a wonderful shopping experience.

This is better than a dollar store, and although you do pay $1.50 for the items when you factor in shipping and import costs, the items here are absolutely incredible quality. Seriously, there is no reason to not stop here when you first moved to a place, or need basic things that you use around the house. This is not a normal dollar store in the sense that everything here is kind of junkie, if anything it’s the place that makes you wonder why you ever spent more than five dollars on a spatula and other miscellaneous daily essentialsThe Hwy locations inventory is not insane like the Japanese stores, or even the mainland, but the town location one is pretty darn good and it is definitely without a doubt better having the store here than it is to not have it at all.

I love shopping/browsing at Daiso! Just went to the Pearl City one yesterday and came to check out this one on Piikoi/Young Street. This one has some different items from the Pearl City store and it seems like theres more snacks. They also have more items in stock...especially in the stationery and craft sections.Be aware that parking is very limited and they have outsourced parking attendants...one whom is rude. Other than that, the Daiso employees are nice and helpful. Also, the lines were not as crazy long as the Pearl City lines. The shorter lines do move quickly and so the wait is waaay shorter. Rude parking attendant or not, I will be back!

Great store, fun stationary gifts, and truly something for everyone. Deal of the entire store- fast charging USB-C cables for $1.50.Only problem with this particular location is parking, but I always ride my bike there so this isnt a problem for me, but expect to queue in the parking lot for a space if you arrive by car. No good street parking alternatives in the area so if you can travel by bus/walk/bike, itll make your trip easier.

If there is no price tag on an item its $1.50 I believe. They have a wide variety of items for sale from clothing to dishes to storage to pets etc. When I went it was a little chaotic. The lime was long and people were arguing with each other. The staff was 50/50 on keeping a positive attitude. I heard, over one of the employees loud radio, someone instruct her to follow me. Everything but the staff was good. Also if youre not smaller framed I dont recommend buying any slippers or clothing, they have a limited size selection. Do not expect the items to be top of the line or last forever. They do have parking. regular and ♿they have security as well.Accept credit and cash. They do not have bags for items must purchase or bring your own.

Shopping at Daiso is always a fun adventure!!! The one thing that I dont care for is that the store makes announcements about Covid and to ask people to social distance and wear masks. Mask wearing is done by all, but the the people in the store dont even believe in keeping their distance between others!!! I always try to respect peoples space but people dont seem to care about others! Even though we have moved to Tier 3, mandates are not really being followed. I went to the Piikoi street location and it was pretty busy!!! I had to rush out of there, didnt get a chance to really enjoy my time their.

Love this store! Always new things on various occasions. Right now, my big go to purchases are from their Disney section and their Sakura theme items. So many items to choose from at a reasonable price! Downside: if you see something and think youll buy it later in the week, think again! They probably wont have it in stock after a few days. With a high turnover of new products that come in, it helps keeps their inventory interesting and unpredictable so you feel like you have to go back regularly to check out what they have next. Check it out!

Super cute store, so easy to spend time in. From things that everyone needs, to things that no one needs! Most items are $1.50, and other items are proced as marked.Tight aisles, and popular items are always crowded, even with limited occupancy. Therefore, its probably not the best place to be during a COVID 19 shutdown. That said, its a great place to find hidden gems. I stop myself at around $20, but it is easy to keep on shopping! We dont have dollar stores but now we have Daiso, where almost everything is $1.50! I always visit Daiso when in Japan and the Mainland because its super cheap omiyage. Today was my first visit to a Hawaii location because my 8 year old daughter has been begging to buy putty erasers. I have no idea what this is, but she knew exactly what it was and bought five different kinds for $1.50 each and a box of Oreo Pocky sticks for $2. I found a set of three plastic containers for $1.50 and a red bandana so I can dress up as Axel Rose for a 90s party. Yes I am organized and yes I am cool. This Daiso is nowhere near as big as the other stores Ive visited in other cities but its packed to the brim with things we absolutely do not need to purchase but absolutely must have because we are weird human beings who love to fill our lives with more and more things we do not need. If you like Japanesy things like bento boxes, small containers, sponges, shoe deodorizers and a thousand other random things no one needs to buy... you will love it. Its the perfect place to bring children for a shopping trip. Theyll feel so spoiled for under $10!Whatever you do, dont enter the parking lot or youll get stuck in there forever. Park on the street and walk in.

A nice dollar store with a Japanese aesthetic theme. The one downside I had was that the shelves were close together so the aisles were cramped at busier parts of the building. However, the reason they are close is because the store sells so many different types of things. They also sell Japanese snacks that I really enjoyed. Highly recommended, just remember that while most things are a dollar some things have a price sticker, so keep an eye out if youre on a budget!
