Ive had my moped for less than a year and its had problems, but they always fix it up fast, a few hours tops.Gotta expect a cheap Chinese scooter to have problems, but they keep it in working order for you.

Straight shooters and give honest opinions. They have a few options to choose from depending on the bike you looking for. They do good work if you choose to get aftermarket upgrades and features as well. Will get your bike in and out of the shop within a few hours depending on the work you want done. Im very happy with their service since buying a bike about a year ago from them.

Bought a moped here in November 2020, was quick and easy, got it serviced in February 2021 and was just as quick and easy (they even attached my license plate for me! Lol). No hassle, pressure, or upselling gimmicks here; these are just people who like mopeds/bikes and want you to as well. Definitely worked for me! Cant wait to upgrade my engine soon :) mahalo!

I have rented and bought mopeds here. My first one when I moved to Oahu was at Apex. They help you as much as they can. I rented one last week for a day and someone broke my right turn light off. When I reurned it they gave me no hard time. They let me know that it will be taken care of. That was a stress reliever. Mahalo fellas!! I know where to go when I want to buzz around on two wheels.

Bought a green moped from this place it was a quick process and he made sure I knew everything about the vehicle before I drove off. It cost about as much as I thought it would.

Danny runs a quality, ethical business. I’ve been going here for years after many bad experiences at other moped places. The workers are so friendly and always work on my moped within a reasonable amount of time. They’ll also pick you up for a small fee if you get stuck somewhere!

The service is available for what you need to keep your moped running properly. But, the pricing is a little bit high especially for the college students as well as the rest of us going through hard times.

The people here are SO Amazing, fair and friendly!! My moped broke down at 6 pm at night randonly and it freaked me out was making a weird noise! I brought it in last minute and Rob fixed it for me on the spot! It was Im thinking something minor because they didn’t even accept payment. Everyone is so nice here like family and everytime I have been here before they were fast and charged fair prices! Would give 5 stars if I could and thats based on 3 plus times that I have been here!

Apex is amazing. There are a few scooter places around if you’re looking to own. I did my due diligence and went to a few. I had a few more left to check out when I arrived at APEX and as soon as their main guy came out to greet me, I knew this is where I was purchasing my bike. Prices are affordable compared to others on the island. I got a great bike with upgrades for a great value. The bike has been driving incredibly well with the upgrades and I’m so happy with the purchase. I can’t recommend them enough. 30 days in, bike rides amazing and I noticed a small support issue. I called them, they said bring it on it, and they’re taking care of the issue. Amazing place to buy a bike. We’ll be getting another one for my wife soon!

The owner and staff at Apex are consistently awesome. I had a really rough 2019 with my moped. It was bought twice used from a friend in early 2018 and was due for (what felt like) nearly everything to start breaking. 90% of the time I brought it in to be fixed by the team at Apex. Exception was the time it broke down on the road on a Sunday and had to call another shop that was open. Lets just say I was NOT impressed with this other shop.Danny, Rylan and the other guys are always very helpful and quick with their service. Ive never felt pressured to purchase something I didnt need, including a new bike when all was breaking down within a span of 3 months and I was feeling anxious about the remaining lifespan of my poor moped. They fixed it up every time. I think it looks and runs much newer than when I first purchased it! I feel I am always given their honest professional and personal advice/opinions.Will keep coming to these guys for all my moped needs. Have been continuously impressed by their professionalism, quick service, honest advice, generosity - you name it!

I love this Place. It is the place to go if you have a moped and need some services done. They are very fast and unlike some other places they provide very good Quality service.All the people who work there are very Knowledgeable and very kind. They know exactly what they are doing.I got a performance exhaust and new gears installed and they did it very fast and my moped was running better than ever.I will always come here whenever I need to get more things done to my moped.

Great place got there 5 minutes before closing but they still gave me and my friend a bike. The guy was super cool... It only took about 5 minutes from when I got there and I was riding a bike . The bikes were advertised to go 50 miles per hour and Im 215 lb and the bike still got up to 50 miles per hour. They were super fun I rode around all of Waikiki. I cant wait to get another bite from them super fun!!!

The team at apex are some of the most down to earth people you’ll meet. Not only are they awesome people but they definitely know more than a thing or two about mopeds. I’ve had issues with mine and all were dealt with very promptly and for a good price. My moped now runs better than it did when it was brand new! It seems like any other auto repair shop I’ve ever been to always tries to sell me more services and parts than I actually need. But over at apex, the guys are genuinely just trying to help you get fixed up and back on the road at the best price possible. If this is the type of customer service you seek, then look no further!

Bought my moped here over a month ago. Super easy process and the uncles are very friendly and helpful. They even fixed a few things on my moped for free a few weeks down the road. You wont find a better dealership anywhere else on this island.

Great place to buy a Scooter. I had a buddy pick one up from here for me and bring it to North shore. He had lost the keys so we had to drive it back down there before I could even ride it anywhere to put a new lock set on it. Not only did they not charge me for the labor, the guy at the counter gave me some fried chicken for lunch while I waited.

Nice staff, very knowledgeable, when I bought my moped, I add a usb port and cellphone holder. Took them no time and I was on my way. Went back four days later to add some more accessories. Apex Mopeds know thier stuff, I was in and out again. Bad customer service dont give them your money they will rip you off! Watch out for buying aftermarket parts from these guys they do not have a return policy for anything in there shop even if not used if it leaves there lot they wont take it back. Came here for the last year and several months to get parts and never once had a problem. That is, until I had to return one item over that time span a seat cover that doesnt quite fit my moped right. I purchased the seat cover earlier today around 5:30pm (3/7/17) with a new battery for my scooter. I rode my bicycle into there shop as my moped wouldnt start because of needing a new battery. The battery worked fine per the instructions but when I tried to put the seat cover on it wouldnt fit quite right like it was suppose to so, I put it back in its bag got the scooter started and rode it back to there shop with the receipt. Mind you my return arrival 6:30pm to the shop is only an hour after I purchased both items from the owner of the shop earlier today. When speaking to the owner again he says we dont take returns for anything that leaves the lot if you would have tried the seat cover on here, I may have taken it back. He said I may even if it was in his lot ludicrous! That wasnt possible since my moped wasnt with me and he saw me ride my peddle bike in! They have no sign that says this and never mentioned this policy before when I had purchased other parts from them but in all this time this is the first time I had to return something I wish it happened sooner I wouldnt have given them so much of my money! He also said its not that I dont trust you its I just cant take it back even though I saw him an hour earlier when buying them and it was obviously not used so in closing just make sure if you do buy after market parts from these guys make sure you know you wont have to return them otherwise youll get screwed over!

I bought my moped from them three years ago, I can’t compare it to my other larger motorcycle at home but the moped is a fair price/performance product. The owner gave me a very reasonable price, all sales and service staff are very friendly, honest and professional. I had my moped safety inspection done recently there. Again, I was very pleased with their services. The price was very reasonable and they were able to complete the inspection promptly. I don’t know how/why some of the customers had one-star experience, in my opinion, this is a good five star place !!!

As a recent customer, I recommend this business. Danny is a no pressure manager who did not talk negatively about any competition . The guys working in the shop are down to earth, and are invested in helping you out, not ripping you off. I worked with Rylan on a few occasions, he is an asset to this shop has great knowledge and knows how to work on your bike. Jeff is another great guy working part time in the shop.This goes a long way into making a good shop. These guys are your local Moped brothas. Disregard any old reviews as their shop is run by different employees now. I did my research before buying, and found many of the complaints to be old, or just not credible. Research all of the shops and pay them a visit in person, you will see why I chose Apex Motors.If you are looking for a basic model Moped (Pronto), don’t waste your time going next door or to the other Moped Garage to pay more money for the same product that will give you MUCH SLOWER SERVICE.Also don’t try the local dealers who sell you “Metro” brands. They will either not give you the inspection and registration (“Scooter Alley” selling as is) or get you out the door for more money for a lower quality product that will require more service in the long run (The Moped Company/Moped Direct). Not to mention their moped appearance is lacking compared to the Pronto Model.Also STEER CLEAR OF “Mr. Scooter” moped shop. They are pressure sellers, lie about their products, and simply try to trash their competitors (if you don’t believe me, go there and experience it for yourself). The owner doesn’t speak English, and the sales man is far from trustworthy to be polite.Just take a visit to Apex Motors and see for yourself, they do not have a backed up wait list in their service lot (like Moped Garage). If you need service the guys will have you covered... they do such a good job, it makes Danny look good without even trying.Apex has plenty of inventory for you to choose from, what ever color or style you want, they will have it for you, and the gang working there are not trying to sell sell sell (they own their mopeds and work on them).The gang will tell you their own personal opinion, even if it doesn’t make their shop money... ( this place is about customers first, not dollar signs$$$).Apex will tell you what they have to offer and leave the decision up to you. Personable, down to earth, and respectful. These are qualities that take them much further than just their products. I say again, Danny’s guys make his shop what it is, and take it to another level.This is a no hassle, and honest as can be place to do business. Don’t just take others word on it, shop around like I did, and you will see other shops will not give you the same vibe. After going, and getting turned down, to tons of moped places, I finally found apex mopeds. The guy at the front desk, was the nicest man, super knowledgable, and all of his customers coming in while I was there were very friendly, which I think says something about this place AND the management. Anyway, I come here with my last bit of hope, and he saves the day. He had two available that werent already saved for other customers, but as Im waiting, he calls and makes sure that he isnt going to over sell, which is pretty rare apparently because three other stores I went to had been over sold. He even called the customer to make sure she was still interested in one before he had sold it to someone else. He helped me find a helmet, and a lock, explained when I should get it serviced, he really took his time to make sure EVERYONE was satisfied. Im VERY appreciative. Also, the moped is great, runs just like he said, goes as fast as he said. I was not swindled in anyway. I HIGHLY recommend checking this place out.

Bought a pronto moped from them about 4 months ago . Yesterday had my moped stolen, about 8 hours later the police found it. One mirrow was stolen, they hot wired it and popped off the front panel, they broke my seat. I took it into apex motors and within 20 minutes all my problems were solved and the price was so reasonable. Love these guys.

Great service! You can tell these guys care about their work and your safety. Went to moped doctors and had horrible service. These guys went above and beyond (ie filled tires with air without me asking). Moped doctors would say, you didnt come in for that.

After spending 2 days going back and forth trying to rekeyed with another scooter shop, I walked into Apex and was rekeyed in about 20 minutes at less cost than I was quoted at the other shop. These guys are always very friendly and I love the fact that you can sit in the air conditioned shop and either play games or watch tv. Mahalo for showing aloha Apex! Good job!

Asked to see if they had a tire in stock. The guy basically told me no before i even gave tire size to him. Then when i gave him tire size he immediately says no. Way to look up parts at work.....just say no.

I went to have my moped belt changed. a week ago I asked these guys how much for the belt change. They said 25. Yesterday I went and ask again and they said 25 again and I answered ok, I am coming in a few hours. My belt was broken so I didnt want to walk 2 miles with my moped and I tried to put my belt myself. I managed to open the cover I removed one side but couldnt remove the side with gear and as last option I started walking with my moped to the shop. When I arrived suddenly the price went up to 35. They gave me a weird reason 10 dollars more for the cleaning of the belt cover. Before I was there I opened the cover and removed one side of the belt driver as well so I said I already did the half of the job and they said only the changing the belt is 25 opening of the cover didnt include. Isnt it stupid? who comes with a moped pre opened his moped drive belt cover. He started being very rude when I started telling he didnt say this price. After walking 2 miles with a broken moped I was at their lap and they loved the situation and they wanted to take advantage of this situation. I didnt have much after walking 2 miles with a moped. And they knew that I am working with my moped as a food delivery. After an hour they charged me 26 dollars which is still fine but the moped wasnt working. Before I came to shop I checked many times it was working properly. Juust because there is no belt there was only no traction. Engine was running and When I step on the gas I was able to hear the engine was going faster. Just no traction thats it. When I asked him what might be the problem he said he has no idea and he added I can leave so they can fix. I tried couple of more times, and said went to the guy and said ok could you fix it. He answered no we are closing now and added come back on monday. It was saturday and meaning that I will lose another 2 days shift which one of them is the day that we make money most. And I am pretty sure he knew all of this. I wonder what happened to moped to be broken. I checked the engine just before entering the shop. And also wondering what was the reason to make the prize go up. one more, I can easly tell that I am a very polite person and pay attention to be smiley, use proper wording always. Which I love communicating people nicely. everybody says I am pretty successful at that point. I am sure I didnt asked them why the price has changed in a rude way. I am so so so dissatisfied. I changed my country just to live with more polite people and I am so so so happy to be in Hawaii because people are so polite in here. I made a great choice but still there are non polite people. Some people that can be rude, some people that can try to take advantage of you. I am so sorry about them. Since I wont see them again but unfortunately they are obliged to live their selves forever. I wanted inform others to avoid similar situations. And by the way thank you so much to everyone in hawaii being so nice. I love you guys. I love hawaii.

I heard about Danny and his crew through a friend while rushing to legalize my new/old moped. I was scared at how long it would take as some garages like to drag things out a lil, but they were first on my list and they did not dissapoint. Straight forward, no bs, fast and super helpful! I had a 2 stroke GTX 2012 that I brought to their shop because I couldnt get it to start. I left it there for 6 hours for them to call me and tell me that the engine wasnt getting compression and that it was shot and that I needed to come pick it up before they closed which was in 15 min. I was at Market City in Kaimuki and on foot. Worried for my moped I literally ran in order to attempt to be there before they closed but I was able to get it back. I asked them if they would buy it off me and they said they wouldnt but would take it. I decided to get a second opinion because I didnt believe that the engine was shot and walked it to Kapahulu where it was fixed and the engine wasnt shot. I wonder how many free mopeds theyve gotten and how many theyve sold telling people there engine is shot when all it needed was a spark plug.

[S][C][A][M] heres why. Needed a wire harness replacement. Called apex pearl city and martin said bring it in because he has them in stock and quoted me about $200. I got there and he said rylan in town does wiring harness (so why did you tell me on the phone to bring it in for the wire harness replacement?)So the next day i dropped it off in town and they called me a few hours later that its ready. I get there and it wasnt even assembled, their reason was to save me money. and he added some other things that didnt need changing like a starter relay, regulator etc. so it went up to $400. I was upset and calmy complained about this situation. He said oh i forgot that we cleaned the carb, that happens when you use cheap gas, we use premium 92 and i said i only use 92 too. Then there was awkward silence. Well thats an additional 100 for the cleaning I said i could have bought a performance carb for that price. just take my card so i can get out of hereTotal scam, i would never treat my customers this way
