We got a scoot coupe for an entire day for less than 200 bucks! Beats the rental car prices. Candy and Rick were super helpful and hooked us up. We visited diamond head, punch bowl, and the falls. Also went to Leonards bakery. This is a great way to see part of the island

Everyone there is awesome, friendly, and very helpful. My sister didnt know how to ride and Andrew was very patient while teaching her. We actually went back the following day to rent mopeds again. Rent from them you wont be disappointed

To be honest I was a little hesitant because I didn’t want a “responsibility” of finding parking and all that good jazz but once put the petal to the metal or I should say hands to the throttle and the Hawaiian breeze glazed my hair I said oh yeah I’m glad I did! (Gives credit to husband!) but yeah free parking where ever bikes or tall poles go. Nice to ride around the island to less trotted places, overall an experience I’m grateful to have enjoyed!

A moped is by far the best way to explore the island! SO much fun and flexibility and the renting process was so easy and smooth, we went back the next day to rent another moped because we had so much fun! Pakela was so helpful and one of the nicest people we met while on our vacation here! He was super thorough and helpful explaining the rules of renting a moped and the policy of the insurance we purchased. He even shared a whole list of recommendations on things to do on the island, put together by him and his wife! Can’t recommend this company enough and so happy with the amazing customer experience we had thanks to Pakela!

Family and I rented two scoot coupes for three hours. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Reservation process, checking in, and rental return were all super simple! Driving around town was fun and the staff can give recommendations for places you should check out. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fun drive in Honolulu.

I would rent from them again. We walked in without reservations to see if they had anything available that day or later in the week and they had 2 mopeds available. They are super friendly!! And especially being our first time ever riding a moped, they make sure you know what youre doing and that youre comfortable before letting you go off on your own. And they definitely dont make you feel dumb for not knowing anything.

My daughter and I rented two mopeds: basket one and the sport one. Check in and out staff were very helpful. Check out staff for us was Daniel, and he was so friendly and gave such awesome aloha spirit. We bought the protection, which extends the rental period past 5PM return time. That was very helpful as we didnt feel rushed and also had a peace of mind about the protection. It was a great way to travel and see the island as it was very convenient to park in midst of limited parking in Oahu.

Renting a moped was the most fun we had in Waikiki. It was soo easy to rent and gave us mobility to visit Pearl Harbor on our own. Highly reccomend. Driving the mood was soo fun!!

The staff were great and very friendly. I was nervous and she was willing to run around the block with me to get me started on the moped that I had never been on before. I recommend this rental place, I will be going back!

My boyfriend and I rented mopeds for an entire day and absolutely loved it! I was slightly hesitant to doing this because I had never driven a moped. However, the very friendly and knowledgeable team made sure that we were both comfortable on the moped prior to sending us off. We got to drive all over and see places that we wouldn’t have gone to, even if we had decided to rent a car. The mopeds are able to keep up with traffic and feel safe. I can’t recommend this experience enough! It will be in my memories for a lifetime.

Rental contract and process was quick and straight forward. Took about 10-15 mins before I was on the road with my new rental. No hassle returning the rental. Only thing, I wish that I had more than a day to ride the scooter ( rented scooter on my last day in Waikiki) which was clearly my fault. Wish I saw the rental place earlier during my vacation, but there’s always next time. I will definitely go back to Hawaiian Style Rental when I come to Waikiki to rent a scooter. No regrets what so ever.

Jesse, Andy and Zoe made our experience so enjoyable - THANK YOU GUYS!! The check in process was quick, which included the safety video and test drive. We didn’t feel rushed and Andy made sure we were completely comfortable before we left the lot. We took our sport mopeds up to Lanikai Beach at a leisurely pace, stopping along the way to take pics and soak up the breathtaking views. Super fun way to enjoy the island! We will for sure be renting from Hawaiian Style the next time we’re in town. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place!!!

Great value for mopeds/scooter. Check in process for reservations took too long (45 minutes).We reserved two scooters to travel to North Shore / Waimea Bay. The coastal drive was incredible. Having scooters made parking easy for crowded/full car parking lots but it was LONG drive (2+ hours) and google map directions always directed us through the highways to avoid so we had to add stops to try to get back on the path back to Waikiki.If you do rent a moped/scooter, make sure to apply sunscreen to your face, arms, chest, back, and legs often! Bring some wireless headphones to enjoy the drive listening to music!

This place is awesome. They were able to rent to our group of 7 with just a few days notice. Seeing the island from a moped was a good way to explore and stop without having to park a car. Definitely recommended.

Talked with a few different moped rental places when we got to the island. Nate at Hawaiian Style was by far the most knowledgeable and super easy to work with. Straight forward, no tourist price-gouging like the other places, no fluff, no BS. The Mopeds were also in the best shape of all the places we checked out. Is highly recommend saving the time and energy we spent trying to find a good place to rent from. This is the spot for sure.

What an amazing day! I was blown away with how fun it was to cruise around Waikiki in a tiny 2-seater moped. I admit my skepticism at first, although it was quickly forgotten by the end of the check-in process due in large part to Pakela and Kennedy, the staff who were working today. They were both extremely knowledgeable and super friendly. If you come to Honolulu, make sure you carve out a little chunk of your stay to go experience Waikiki in a tiny, fun-filled death trap from Hawaiian Style Rentals.

Amazing service and easy to rent without reservations

Nathan and Andrew and the rest of the crew were super helpful and informative of the moped rides from teaching how to ride and not letting you go without being comfortable, giving tips to travel around the city, debriefing you in an in-depth manner, and altogether just making the walk in experience smooth without a reservation. Id definitely recommend making that reservation, though, so that the process is much quicker and even smoother. It took me and my friends almost an hour waiting in line for mopeds to be available. Otherwise, theres good reason theres always a line here and shorter lines elsewhere. Check them out!

If youre looking for a full day of site seeing & hanging with the locals at your on pace renting the Hawaiian Style rental is the way to go!

This place was the highlight of our trip. You cant beat the price and we loved seeing Oahu on mopeds. Got the premium insurance service, and when we needed some help on the North Shore, DJ came out and was super happy, professional, and got us taken care of perfect! he even gave us some local recommendations on places to eat out there. We rented mopeds on two different days during our stay and had so much fun. A moped is the most enjoyable way to see the island! And we especially appreciated Michael’s special attention at the Lemon Rd location and Andy’s at the Ununiu location in making sure we were safe and felt comfortable with our mopeds. Both gentleman had impeccable customer service.

The staff made sure I was confident and safe my first time riding along the streets. In the heat these men ran alongside the bike and encouraged me for doing well. Thumps up for genuine energy!!

Everything was perfect except for the vehicle itself. The vehicle e-break did not engage and I caught the vehicle before it slid down the parking lot. The vehicle also did not start on a couple of occasions whereby causing me to push the vehicle a few yards before being able to run the ignition. One of the break lines did not engage. Otherwise, I was able to have a safe trip. The check-in and check-out process was easy and smooth.

This was a very nice and smooth Rental process. The staff was nice, they made sure I was comfortable also made sure I was knowledgeable of the scooter and how to properly use it. The instruction video also was very thorough yet fun to watch. It was not boring so that made it exciting to ride good job.

These guys are absolutely amazing. There were no hidden fees, they were very transparent about every step of the process on how much everything was going to cost and also answered every question I had in a knowledgeable and friendly manner. My new wife and I rented a 170CC Motor Scooter (2 Seaters REQUIRE a motorcycle endorsement) and it was great, well maintained and we had no problems at all zipping around the island for the day, it was an absolute blast. They also have Mopeds for those that do not have a motorcycle endorsement, as well as cool little 2 seater, 3 wheeled go kart things. If youre looking for a fun way to see Honolulu and the surrounding areas quickly and with ease, I HIGHLY recommend this place. 😊

Rental cars were lacking so we opted for mopeds. SO much fun! We went to the east shore beaches and to the north shore. First time riders and would do it again!

Chloe helped us out and while it was a lengthy process fit five people, 3 mopeds (2 - 2 person and a single bike), we were on the road and it was fantastic!! What a ride!!! We never buy extra insurance on anything but Chloe assured us it helps to enjoy the trip and she was SO right! Insurance eased the tension of someone damaging the rental and it wasn’t our responsibility! This was a no-brainer!! Excellent experience for three generations! Mahalo, Chloe 🤙

I had a blast riding to the Northshore via the EasyShare.

Asked to have my reservation date changed. Was told that the computer wasn’t allowing them to change the reservation, but they would make a note to ensure two scooters were held. Showed up on the day of my reservation, and boom no scooters available. Extremely disappointed with this company and their reservation system, especially when I had paid a deposit a month in advance. Maybe don’t charge a deposit if you can’t guarantee a reservation.

Still giving them 5 stars despite my scooter I rented just crapped out after 1 five mile ride, but they were able refund my money, upgrade me to 400cc scooter (need 🏍 license) and give a little discount, so for that and them remedying the initial situation 5stars it is and very much enjoyed myself

Only negative comment is that they may need to pick up their phones when customers call, but doesnt mean that its 4 star service. The helpful and friendly staff was very helpful.Running on a moped in the city of Hawaii is refreshing and highly recommended.However, there are no parking lots around Waikiki, so be careful, and it is recommended that you always keep eye drops because they are dry.
