The repair shop was amazing! They did incredible work in a timely manner and kept us updated on where they were at during the repair process. The team was super friendly and informative. They also detailed the inside of the car and it was super clean. Highly recommend using them!

This company was recommended to me by my insurance company for a bumper repair after an accident. They far exceeded my expectations. The work is excellent. They gave me multiple updates throughout the process. Then, to top it all off the interior was expertly detailed when I picked it up! This was one of the best experiences EVER! When you are dealing with a car accident, there are lots of details and concerns. In this case all of my expectations were EXCEEDED. What an absolute wonderful and unexpected surprise!

My brand new car was hit from behind, I search a body shop online, and I found this place seem to have good review. However, I am wrong. At beginning, the front desk and the manager seem to be people that I can trust to fix my brand new car. I dropped my car and let them fix, two weeks and five days later, I got text said my car got final QC and finished, but when I go to pick it up, I found a bump and crack of paint, and the manager said the bump of the paint is the molding, so that he can’t do anything about it. Clearly, it is the bad paint job not molding. I insist I won’t take it if he could not fix it. So I left the car another one week, then I pick up my car even the bump and crack is not completely fix, it just less visible, I found two scratch mark on my car that I think from technician get in and out from the car, and the passenger side seat belt got stuck from they open up the Side of the door. The longer I left my car there, the more damage on my car, so I decided take my car home. I brought my car to the dealer to fix the seat belt. Avoid this place, the manager seem genuine, don’t fool by that !!

Ashley and the entire team was great!! Ashley kept my Dad and I informed literally every step of the way while my car was getting repaired. I never had to guess when it would be ready or guess as to what was being done to my car. She reached out with updates frequently and was so friendly and professional. When I went to pick up my car the woman working at the front desk (sorry didnt get her name...it actually might have been Ashley??) was SO nice and explained everything and answered all my questions. Usually getting my car repaired has been a miserable experience, and working with Gate City has honestly been the first great experience Ive had when getting car repairs done.

If I could give 0* I would have. I would not recommend this shop for repaira at all. My car was hit in Feb and this was one place my insurance worked with. When I got my car back the inside with covered in the dust from them sanding, ok what ever I just cleaned it up. Fast forward to the one day in late March that the tem got into the 70s. My AC unit was not working, called them they took it in and sent it to another shop. The finding was that they over charged my ac unit causing the safety switch to shut it off. I was then told that my ac canister could be faulty because they did nothing wrong. Well here we are in May and yes still having problems with my ac unit and because it was over charged is not covered by the warranty on my car because it was not a faulty canister but basically killed from being overcharged .

Treated professionally what car was a total. They gave me an estimate and didnt work on it. I received good info from others before I chose it.

Gate City repaired my fiancé’s 2015 Ford Mustang Convertible after getting into a pretty bad accident in the beginning of the summer of 2020. Not only did they complete all the repairs above par, but they also gave him the option to make some upgrades that he had wanted for quite some time. They went above and beyond and kept in constant contact during this pandemic which is something to say in and of itself. Especially considering items were being shipped from the west coast and shipping was delayed for the entire country. They kept us updated and always answered any questions we had. We didn’t have the spare key which was needed in order for the final repairs to be completed so they had it replaced for us at no additional charge which we were incredibly appreciative for. Mike and I would recommend them for any type of repairs whether it be after an accident, for upgrades or whatever else it may be. They’re front desk staff was always extremely courteous and helpful and we never had to wonder what was going on. If they couldn’t give us an answer when we called in, they would call us back right away with an answer from someone on the auto body floor. Thank you all again for getting Mike his baby back better than it was before.

My family has used these guys in the past so I thought I would give them a try. Sooooo Happy I did! I had some traditional work done as well as some custom work done on my BMW and they over delivered and surpassed my expectations.The office people are very professional and polite which is nice for a change to have good customer service and the body and paint people are very talented thats for sure. I will definitely be returning to them in the future AND referring them to others

Just got my Tacoma back after a minor fender bender and it looks just like it rolled out of the showroom! Had them detail it after the repair and it really looks like a new truck. These people were simply amazing I was rear ended and referred to them by Jeep dealership ...they were so great legit handled EVERYTHING for me even had the rental company bring me a car right there for me so I didnt have to Uber any where and set the rental up ..what a great experience after being hit and not happy about it

Good customer service.

They were phenomenal. My car was hit and needed work replacing parts of the rear bumper. It was in the garage the following week and repairs were finished within just a couple days. When I picked it up, they had us inspect their work to make sure we were happy with everything. Not only did they do a great job at matching the paint and everything, my car was even cleaner than when I dropped it off.

Wow, these guys are pros. I came in from out of town to get my sons car fixed and they made it easy. Dave handled things for me perfectly and I could not have been more well taken care of. A handshake went a long ways. You dont find that customer service very often anymore. Dave gets it. A big thank you from IOWA!

I chose Gate City Collision after seeing how many excellent reviews they have, and I am happy to add another! I had gotten into an accident right as the virus hit, nevertheless, David was so good about keeping me in the loop and ensuring that my car would still be taken care of.On the initial day of pickup, I called to check in and learned that a tow truck from another company had unloaded a car, scratching up the side of my car. David handled the situation amazingly, apologizing profusely when GCC wasn’t even at fault for the incident. Despite going back and forth with the tow company (who refused to pay for damages) David wound up taking care of the repairs, repainting my car and fully detailing the interior at no cost to me. My car looks better now than when I drove it off of the dealership!Thank you David for all of your help, despite a global pandemic and a tow truck mishap, I am beyond pleased with my experience, and although I hope I won’t be back for body work, if anyone I know needs body work I will be sending them your way! They did a great job fixing my girlfriends Nisson Rogue. Only took about 3 days to finish, which wasnt very long at all. They handled setting up and getting us a rental car. Very nice people there, helpful and casual, which I really like.

Had a new tailgate put on and painted here 2 years ago. The paint did not match to my liking. Color looks ok from a distance but when you look close it does not shine or have the same mirror type affect as the factory paint. I told them i was unhappy when picking it up and they were very rude basically told me too bad. The other day when pressure washing my truck the pressure washer went right through the thin layer of new paint. I tried the pressure washer pressed flush against the factory paint in an area that was not exposed. Pressure washer would not break through the factory paint. NOT a good paint job.

Office was great. They took care of the rental and return. Quality of the repair was not good. They tried to return the truck to me with way too muck orange peel and lots of snot in the repaired area and the wheel well molding had a 3/16 gap from not being installed properly. Office,manager actually said she was embarrassed. Had to leave the truck a extra day and still wasnt happy with it but her attitude said we were both done. Probably wont be back.

I was the victim of a hit and run in late January and Gate City Collision was the recommended location of repair by my insurance company. Judy, the front office manager, was friendly. However, communication was non-existent, as Gate City Collision removed me from the equation and communicated directly with my insurance company, which was less than preferred. After a number unsuccessful phone calls to try and speak with the employee who had done the estimate, I was finally contacted that my car would be completed that day, which about two to two and half weeks after it was dropped off. Upon initial inspection, the body work looked great but after reading some other reviews on Yelp, etc., I made sure to look closely before leaving the parking lot. Sure enough, there were many fish eyes in the paint where the repair was done. I returned to the office to see if they could be buffed out (which only really helps a little) and had to do so not once, not twice, but three times. Yes, I was being knit picky but my car should be repaired correctly no matter if Im paying or my insurance company. After a couple days of driving, I needed to return again to Gate City Collision as the clips which attached seam of where the bumper meets the body of the car were not clipped correctly. All and all the repair to my car is not so great and I will be going elsewhere for future body work.
