I started using these guys in Jan,2021, for vehicle inspection. While I waited I had a chance to speak with Keith, the Mgr. Mostly about the services his location offers and the a little of his business philosophy. I liked what I heard so I used him again for an oil change, I usually do this myself but had no time, and the technicians found transfer case damage. Keith was not there that day so I returned another day to discuss the problem. I think Keith is extremely fair and realizes the importance of a lasting relationship with the customer. They recently did the repair and I will return for more work to be done. He does not have a get all the money now attitude that some shops have. I appreciate his honesty as well as the knowledge and service everyone in the shop has. This is a solid shop, I hope others will give them a chance. Thanks Guys!

I was there this morning getting an oil change and a tire rotation. When they took my car in all my tires were great they are only 2 months old. When they pulled my car out I immediately noticed that one of the tires had a huge bubble and a split like someone cut it. When I confronted the employee that was at the desk he became very hostile and immediately became defensive telling me they didn’t do nothing. I went to a different shop to get looked at and come to find out that when the guy pulled the car in and/or out he sliced the tire against car lifter and put a hole in it while trying to correct the car when in drive. I will never ever again would give them service

I made an appointment to get my vehicle inspected, and when I went in they asked me to reschedule. How about you guys call people BEFORE they plan there entire weekend around this visit. Id give 0 stars if I could.

This was my first visit to Monro in Hooksett, NH (or any other). I was treated as if I were a long-time customer. My car was brought in right away and was completed when promised. They are very upfront about any expenses I would incur and actually had the total $$$ less than what I was told! Not only did they address my initial concerns, they advised me me on a couple other needed items. (Which are really needed). Big thanks to Keith and Keith at Monro, I highly recommend this repair shop!

I don’t write reviews.. I just had the tell about my experience with Monro .. Keith .Ethan and Dave need some kudos.. I brought my car in it would not stay running .. I have replaced about 1500.00 worth of parts at other shops over the last two weeks trying to fix this problem .. Ethan figured it out in about an hour my alarm antenna was bad 65.00 dollar part and an hours labor to replace it .. my car runs great I should have brought it here first .. in the future I will have all of my repairs done with these guys ..

HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION!!! Keith and the whole Monro staff were beyond professional, friendly and talented. I brought in my Mercedes for a state inspection after being told by the dealership I needed new tires and breaks during the last maintenance appt. The quote from the dealership for the work was outrageous so i had been shopping around online and with local body shops prior to taking the car in for the inspection at Monro. I asked Keith about the issues and he was straight forward with me and HONEST about what was actually needed while beating any price I could find in my search. Needless to say, i canceled my other appts and scheduled the work at Monro. There was a miscommunication with the tire vendor and I ended up having to bring the car back in and I have never been so impressed with the customer service. Even though the fault mainly fell on the tire vendor, Monro gave me an incredibly generous discount/complimentary extra services even though their original price was already better than everyone else. They were nothing but kind, courteous and their work is highest of quality. It is such a relief to finally have found a go to for my cars needs. I hate the process of taking my car in and i am very particular with who i allow to work on it since it’s quite expensive to fix this type of vehicle. Not your typical chain store, went in with a predetermined expectation, by the time I left I was more than impressed. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Brought my vehicle to a different repair shop multiple times and never fixed my concern, then brought it to Monro, they saved me money and it was finished early on top of finally fixing my engine light the other shop couldn’t. Highly recommend this place to anyone I will return for future work.. very honest people.

Great service came in for an inspection needed a couple of things ..they brought me out showed me what was wrong Keith and Keith up front were friendly and honest gave me a quote for the repairs needed I priced checked them and the were very competitive .. brought the car back in for the work they were super friendly and had me back on the road in no time I will be back and I will tell anyone that asks hooksett Monro is the place to go

Sadly had a really bad experience with this place, had a really bad noise coming from my brakes and they straight up refused service and the guy I spoke to had the most disgusting attitude. I understand it that mechanics are super busy but this guy flat out refused service because of how overbooked they were. Later found out my brakes had gone and I was driving and really unsafe conditions and the fact that this guy was so unprofessional and had the biggest attitude about it was just not okay.

I could tell something was wrong. It was Sunday, I was up in the mountains for some hikes, got up early and headed south. Booked a tentative appointment online with my mobile phone and made a dash for Monro in Hooksett. Their lot was packed and the gentleman at the desk said the soonest available slot was noon Monday, but he offered to eyeball it for me. I showed him the rotor wear on just the one wheel and all the brake and metal dust. He was honest and said he wasnt comfortable having the car driven as is, even just a few miles home and back. I agreed to leave it and walked home like a good hiker. Partway I got a phone call, they had checked it out and I needed front brakes. By 2pm they had finished the work and they called to say I could get my car. I was astonished! They really worked hard to keepe safe and have my car ready to ride asap. I am so impressed amd grateful. Big thanks to Keith(?) in the office and the mechanic on duty for giving me exceptional customer service!

Made an appointment online . Showed up at the scheduled time for my oil change . The technician noticed my rear brakes were very thin and one of my tires was showing cord .. My reaction was of course always something else ... Keith asked if he could show me the issues with my car . I saw with my own eyes the issues discussed.. I was impressed by how friendly everyone was ... was in and out in a very reasonable time and cost was fair . We will be back.

DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE GUYS. this is the 3rd time Ive wrote a review and they take it down..Kevin sold us brand new tires with 55000 warranty after 20000 miles 2 tires are junk. We brought it to his attention and he called my fiance a liar saying we never brought them back to rotate..we let him know we bring it valvoline for oil change and tire rotation. He told us we were liars again and that valvoline doesnt do tire rotations..call valvoline on loudon road KEVIN.i feel like that was inappropriate for the way KEVIN acted as a customers service rep for monroe..something needs to be done..

I am not from the area so I winged it because Monro was convenient. Keith is always so friendly and accommodating. I have had brakes, muffler, inspection, mounted tires and probably some more thing and I can not say enough about how consistent, reliable, friendly and professional the entire operation is. I got to shop 10 mins before closing they got me in diagnosed my issue and replaced my front pads and rotors .. I was in a bad position and they did not take advantage.. the price was fair .. Keith and the tech worked on it and got me back on the road in 45 minutes.. can’t say enough about this shop and the staff

I order tires almost exclusively from Tire Rack so finding a local installer that delivers quality and value is a godsend.The people at the Hooksett Monro have done an excellent job on every occasion I’ve relied on them. They are adept across a wide range of different tire sizes and vehicle types. They recently installed a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires on our BMW M5 and the experience was as straightforward and stress-free as when they put a set of all-season Continentals on a Subaru.Scheduling is easy, drop off is a breeze, and all communication is direct and clear. I appreciate that the guys at the Hooksett Monro do a great job on the cars and provide a hassle-free customer experience.

I am very unhappy with the services I have been receiving. At the beginning of the month, I made an appointment to see why my abs light came back on after Monroe repaired it last year. Keith confirms it was my ABS, it’s covered under warranty and they could put it in the next day. Great. I come in and he then tells me the part is not in. That’s fine, I reschedule and appointment for three days later.30 minutes before my scheduled appointment, mind you I’m already on my way to the shop, Keith calls to say he is canceling my appointment because the part is wrong. It’s the front and the dealership sent the part for the rear. He says he will call. I never get a call so I call again three days later. He now claims the part is not yet delivered and it’s possible that it may not be the ABS sensor at all!! I call again and now it’s a different guy who says it will take three additional days from the day of my call to get it. He asks me to come in today for 5:30 and you know what? I get there to be told I was NEVER given a damn appointment and the part isn’t even there and I should come in tomorrow morning!!!!!! This is horrible service and now tomorrow my registration is due to expire.If I get a ticket for this, Monroe is paying for it!!

I have been a loyal customer for several years. The entire team has always been helpful. They are fair and honest with pricing and setting expectations regarding the length of time you will be on the lift. This is the only place I feel comfortable when they suggest something. My vehicle is my office and the team in Hooksett takes great care of it. Thanks for being honest and fair.

Went to go to work this morning and my car was making an awful noise when I was coming to a stop I stopped in and Keith the manager got me right in even though I didn’t have an appointment.. they checked my brakes the found a rock stuck in my caliper they removed it, my noise is gone only took 15 minutes I wasn’t even late for work best of all they didn’t even charge me to look at it .. I will tell all my friends I found a great place to go and I’ll be back for sure

Great customer service and upfront pricing!

I have been a customer of this Monro Muffler for around a year or so, and had generally been happy with the service. A little over a week ago, I came in needing 4 tires mounted and balanced. The new tires and old tires/wheels were already off of a car, and were not being put on a car: it was a very easy job. I work on my own car and have mounted and balanced wheels and tires myself in my high schools auto tech class. 4 wheels/tires took me around 15-20 minutes to complete. I know for certain that this is at most a $40 job, but the older man at the counter charged me $91, and it took them over 3 hours to call me back and say they were done. They were not super busy: it was mothers day. Yes, it is my fault for not immediately taking my business elsewhere, but that technician should be ashamed of himself for taking advantage of a customer. I brought up the massive overcharge with him after the job had been done, but he swore that was what the price of the job should be. I will not be taken advantage of again, and I will not be coming back to this business.

Highly recommend, everyone is professional and really nice. They are honest and do quality work. They also let you know details and bring you to your car to show you what theyre talking about. Go here people, you wont be disappointed.

I just had my daughter’s Lexus hybrid serviced at Munro muffler in Hooksett, New Hampshire. As always, the staff was competent, efficient, and extremely reasonable in terms of price.I had multiple coupons, and the manager accepted them all and even helped bring the bill down a bit further with additional discounts. Nick was great. I went to get my car serviced after a minor surgery one day and the staff went over the top to help me feel comfortable. I had my state inspection done here. The team was very fast with getting to my vehicle. The inspection wasnt long either. Painless for me .All of the people working there were very courteous, not just to me, but all the other customers that were there too.I recommend going there.

I called them on a Friday in a bit of a panic after I blew both front brake lines on my only dump truck for my business they assured me that they would be able to get it done by the weekend so I can be back to work on Monday! These guys do a good job, pdossesional and seem to remember me and work me in when I need work fast. It is a chain, so you might get a better deal at a mom and pop place, but they come in clutch when you need it done and done now. Cheap oil changes, almost half as the place down the street. So unless you gotta guy who can work on your rig on the cheap, these guys get it done and fast. The prices are less than dealer, but more than say Eds garage thats run out of his house.

I am a out of state college student here in Hooksett and I have had a great experience here at Monro Auto Service. My tire pressure light was on and with no charge, they checked all my tires, found a nail in my tire, and put my spare on for me with no charge. Being out of state and not knowing much about cars can be intimidating but the men working here were so nice and helpful with my car. I will definitely be coming back here!!

Where else can you go to get service on your vehicle? The dealer? Why? They charge the most for everything, even the small things. So, instead I go to Monroe Brake for all of my car needs. I generally handle my own car problems and maintenance, but for anything bigger, I go to Monroe. Ben is awesome and Sam is awesome. They both do incredible work and are very knowledgeable in their trade. I HIGHLY recommend this shop to anyone in the Greater Manchester Area and southern NH.

Nick and Sam were both incredibly helpful and polite. I felt like they were honest with the assessments of my vehicle and showed me the damage to my serpentine belt when I asked to see it. I will certainly be going back to this location again. Monro should feel extremely grateful to have such dedicated employees to their customers and craft.

These guys were fantastic. I brought my vehicle in on a Sunday (the fact they were open until five on a Sunday was also impressive) and I needed a new battery terminal, of which they had fixed in about 20 mins. I was worried about making it to work on Monday because most places either closed early or didn’t have time. You guys rock!

Just got done bringing my truck in for an inspection and a tire rotation. They knocked my satellite radio off the windshield and didn’t put it back up, moved around my tire iron and jumper cables while looking for the registration which they knew was in the glove box. They didn’t put anything back where it was or tell me they left my car a mess. Also since they were taking the tires off for the inspection anyway, it shouldn’t have cost the full $25 price for a tire rotation.

Lying, thieving, criminals, they stole a lot of money from me. They claimed replaced parts that were not replaced. I found this out when I went to a real shop. If I had a good case I would press charges for the $900 dollars they stole from me. Shame on me, I got a bad vibe from them and should have got a honest second opinion. Lesson learned.

I was having issues with my clutch, so I called to make an appointment to drop my truck off, not having a way to get back to SNHU from there other than walking, one of the employees went above and beyond and gave me a ride back to the school so I wouldnt be stuck walking. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience here at Monro. I went to my normal dealer where I have purchased 4 vehicles for my oil change and inspection. Long story short I was told I had worn ball joints among other things and it would cost over $1400 to fix it all. When I asked for specs they could not provide me anything. I had my suspicions, so I went to Monro for a second opinion. I’m so happy that I did, because they found that my ball joints were perfectly fine and the other service department had blatantly lied to me. They did show me that my front rotors were in need of replacing, so I put new rotors and brakes on, and passed my inspection. Thanks to Monro, I saved over $1100 of unnecessary work, and could not be happier Ben Gagne and the mechanic Justin were both very professional and knowledgeable. I would trust them with my vehicle any time. I highly recommend Monro in Hooksett. Thank you again for the great experience!

Great Job!We went in for brakes at noon on a Sunday, while we were there we asked for additional service if time allowed. They really took care of us. We left with new brakes and rotors on the front, flushed our brake lines, they took off our snow tires, mounted and balance our summer tires, did our state inspection which was coming up next month, and topped it off with an oil change.With a 2 man crew including manning the front desk, they took care of a lot of customers over the course of their shift and stayed about 40 minutes late to give us everything we needed.Hell of a job Nic and his new young Ace Mr. Wakefield!Thanks
