Great shop. Fast service. We are from out of town, so I called ahead to schedule the 30 day service on new bike and annual service for existing bike. I thought I would have to come back another day to get them, but they performed the service for both bikes in less than two hours from the time we dropped them off. IWe will certainly be back.

Out of the three bike shops in birmingham this one is by far the best! The staff is extremely polite and helpful! I just started MTB less than a year ago and this shop is the only one that didnt treat me like a dummy while shopping! Im definitely not a big spender but they treated me like I was one! From the Specialized website, I searched to see if anyone had the bike that I wanted. Bike Link of Hoover was the only shop within a thousand miles that had it. The local shops told me that it could be more than six months before they might have it. I was reluctant to drive 4.5 hours round trip to Hoover but I am very glad that I did. Everyone at Bike Link of Hoover couldnt have been more knowledgeable, professional and kind. Very impressive shop with a nice test ride area in back. I wish they would open a second shop in Georgia!

We were about to take a trip to Bentonville Arkansas then we found out that my girlfriends derailleur was broken conveniently on the way to Bentonville we found bike Link of Hoover and they had the only derailleur in stock and a xx1 derailleur in stock that was for me. They originally told me it would be a couple hours to install but after my girlfriend and I looking at each other the manager said we can have it done in 20 minutes and sure enough it was done in 20 minutes it was wonderful service and great people that went above and beyond. I would recommend them to anyone.

I bought a bike for my son last year, and the staff at BikeLink were great about educating us on which brand, model, and size would be best for him now, and would give him some growing room. He has really enjoyed his bike, and it’s holding up well. We’ve started riding the trails at Oak Mtn more often and it was time to retire my old Trek bicycle. Joe and the team helped me spec a new Specialized bike that will be a better fit for the type of riding we’re doing now. My son and I also ride dirtbikes so as part of the setup they swapped the brake locations to match the location of what’s on the motorcycle, so that panic stops wouldn’t result in more panic. About a year after buying my son’s bike and many of the faces were familiar when we walked in to order mine. It’s nice to see that customer service still exists in small business. I’m looking forward to continue to shop with them as we inevitably break things and need service.

In this day and age it’s sad to say that customer service is just a lost art. Not here. Everyone at Bike Link takes there job seriously and it really shows. We had an amazing experience and everyone accommodated my wife and I as we pieced together our bikes and all the gear we needed for our beach trip. I live all the way in Atlanta but I think I’ll make the drive again for future purchases and might even join them for a few group rides!~

Great place to purchase and for service. After a recent refresh of my bike I wrote the following to the shop:Grant worked on my old 2010 Salsa (which has been maintained by me - yeah, thats right, me, which is AKA maintained terribly).After I got the bike back and was riding it this weekend I have to say my bike is practically ruined. The front forks now move smoothly, the rebound is consistent and I know how it is going to behave while I riding. Then, the service of the rear shock. Now the back wheel doesnt hop all over the place, all of the noises are gone, it rebounds correctly as well and when I make any adjustments it actually adjusts how the bike will respond.Let him know if he is going to tune up a bike, he needs to warn us that it will ride like new and be so much easier to ride and allow the rider to ride more confidently!!! Do you know how dangerous it is to ride a bike that rides and behaves correctly? :-)Seriously, a great job. I love your shop.

Ive gone here a few times now and its been a pretty great experience every time, the staff is very friendly and gets bike work done fast for a good price. This shop has lots of helpful tools and equipment/supplies that I havent seen in other bike shops that Ive gone to, they even had a 20 tire in store which was great because I tore my old tire. The only issues Ive had is that they didnt get the wheel centered up on my bmx and they put my new tire on with the tread facing the wrong direction but besides that Id definitely recommend this shop.

The absolute best bike dealer in Birmingham Metro Area. Unfortunatly I purchased a several of bikes from a dealer closer to work before I found Bike Link but only got great service when dealing with the owner. Recently I sold a bike online and needed a bike box to ship the bike, the dealer that I purchased several bikes from would only sell me the box with packing the bike (approx $60). After doing a search in the internet I found Bike Link, called them and asked if I could buy Just a box. To my surprise they would not sell me one but if I would wait one day they would take a bike out of the box and give me one. I WILL BUY ALL MY BIKES AND ACCESSORIES FROM BIKE LINK. If they would give service like this to a stranger imagine how great if I purchase several thousands in bikes from them. A+++++++++++++
