So we drove 30 minutes to walk in clinic and they sent it to Walgreens due to it being Sunday. We seen the line wrapped around the building but we waited. Took us over an hour to get to the window for the lady to explain we have 4 prescriptions and none were ready! We said ok thats fine we can wait your busy and that she explains it will be atleast another hour... just save yourself the trouble and dont go here ... unless you got nothing better to do but wait in line
This is a great pharmacy. Never a long wait, they always answer the phone and they are extremely polite. I’ve lived here since it was built and I’ve never had a problem. Some people are just spoiled I guess.
Definitely don’t do walk-in COVID-19 vaccines like their signs posted all over the store advertise.
I was on hold 22 minutes and the call was disconnected after several people put me on hold! Second call was answered in 10 minutes. The staff that I spoke with was very rude! The worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with! I am moving my prescriptions elsewhere!
I love this Walgreens. I work nights, so its great that they are open so late. Theyre one of the only places I can get food or drinks before work. Staff is always nice and helpful, even though I know theyre tired that late at night. Theyre always hard at work stocking but still keeping an eye out for customers that need help.
Will not answer the phones in the pharmacy. Heard them pick up the phone and then put me back on hold. Have been on hold for an hour. Worst experience ever. Absolutely tragic. Horrible customer service.
Terrible pharmacy. I use Walgreens in Madisonville usually and they are great but this one is the slowest pharmacy Ive ever used. Maybe they need new management. And this time Ive been on hold for 10 minutes without even being spoken to after waiting in line 45 minutes yesterday only to be told they didnt receive my prescriptions. However it says in my visit summary the prescriptions that were called in and that they were called in to them.
I was the only person in the store and I had to find someone to check me out.
If the pharmacy would answer the phone that would be great.

UPDATE: ONE YEAR LATER!!!! I HAVENT BEEN TO WALGREENS SINCE FIRST RATING. UNFORTUNATELY HAD TO GO TO URGENT CARE THIS WEEKEND N ONLY ONE OPEN WAS WALGREENS. I DONT HAVE TIME TO WAIT 2 DAYS FOR INSURANCE TO APPROVE MY PRESCRIPTION SO THE NEXT MORNING I CALLED URGENT CARE TO SEND IT TO KROGER AND HAD IT WITHIN 30 MINS. WHY WITH YALL I HAD TO WAIT 2 DAYS BUT THE OTHER PHARMACY RUN MY SAME INSURANCE N NO WAIT???Very Very Slow!!! Employees r rude and tell u one thing then u wait the amount of time they tell u its gonna be n then wait an additional 30 mins cuz they always Misplace prescriptions!!!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! If u can go to a different pharmacy it would be in ur best interest!
Been here two different times staff was rude both times. I will stick to the Walgreens in my hometown where the staff is ALWAYS friendly.Nothing wrong with Walgreens just this location has rude staff.
I understand there may be a little bit of a wait to speak with the pharmacy but when the doctors office calls and holds for 30 minutes, then we call and hold for 30 min, call the store and then get put on hold, you got real bad customer service
Don’t bother using this pharmacy. I have a question for them and have been trying to contact them for 2 weeks. Every single time I call, I’m out on hold, and eventually hung up on while I’m on hold. Terrible service.
My dad is 84 years old. The heat index is 110 out side. Walgreens has texted me and said it was time to fill his prescription, so over the phone I gave Walgreens permission to fill it. The automated service said it was complete. His prescription would be ready for pick up on 08/20/2019 at 11 am. He waited until 4pm to go pick it up. I knew there would be issues, so I told him to take his prescription bottle with him. He didnt do that. My mother calls me and tells me they have no order for him after he gets out in the heat. I called Walgreens and they have no record of the order. They said it would be filled in 30 min. I dont know what is going on with this department, but you just lost a valued customer. I hope in the future you will get your automated system in line with the real deal

Been going here for years. Dealt with the long waits because I had rewards there. Got an appendectomy today and arrived at 550 to get my prescription filled. They told me they close at six and wouldnt fill it tonight. I told her I had an appendectomy today and really needed it. She told me sorry nothing she could do. Also told me nowhere else was open. Its 6:15 i just checked out with my prescription from the Walmart pharmacy down the street. So not only could she not inconvenience herself possibly staying 5-10 minutes to allow a regular customer to have the medicine after a painful surgery, but she then tried to lie and tell us nowhere else was open to save face. Wont be back in a Walgreens again. Go to Walmart pharmacy much quicker and friendlier.
I do not recommend their pharmacy to anybody. Their technicians have bad attitudes and let people set at the window 20+ minutes to wait on their prescription, as other people sit waiting in the line for an hour or longer. Ive switched to Rite Aid and have had no further problems.
There are only 2 ladies in the pharmacy that seem to genuinely care about the customers, other than that they really have no desire to be there besides a paycheck. The main pharmacist acts as if he nor his staff can do no wrong even when it comes to extremely bad service right down to telling someone they do not have time to do something. I have been shopping at Walgreens for years and across the country and have never experienced such poor service
The pharmacy is aweful & so is the employees who work in this department. They mess up your medication, do not alert you if they say it needs approval. I have called my insurance several times stating one of my prescription does not need a pre-approved. They never answer their phone, a complete nightmare! I so wish a CVS would open up here in Hopkinsville. Walgreens is the only one so either you deal with it, or you will need to send to a Clarksville TN Walgreens to get service.
I am a nurse case manager that works in a hospital and we are required to call in medications for our physicians and determine co-pays or prior auths for patients discharging to make sure its affordable and obtain the prior auth before discharge. We do this all the time and the pharmacist will always run it through while we are holding and give us an answer. Not with this pharmacy, acted like they were perturbed for being called and told to call back. I said Id call back in 30 min and was told they would try to have it by then but our request would be put in line and didnt know if it would be done by then. Was told I should call the patients insurance to find out, really? This for a patient ready to be discharged. Have never had a pharmacist be so rude. Just hope when he or his family are in the hospital and need this they will get the same kind of care that was given for this patient.

I only come here to get my prescriptions. The pharmacy staff is super friendly and nice but severely understaffed! It doesnt matter what time of the day I come there is always an extreme line. Ive actually waited 2 hours before. Im sorry but I may be going to kroger soon

Ive been in the line for meds for over 30 mins with a car in front of me and behind me neither have even been spoke to at! Dont go here for your meds unless you are okay with waiting an hour for someone to finally realize youre there and then take 20mins a person. Smh
Pharmacy is understaffed. Nicole was absolutely wonderful, even though she was having to deal with so many at both the drive thru and inside.
The staff is uncaring, the wait is unbelievable and they have lost my medication with no explanation. The Rite Aid merge has been a problem. The automated system is not working as normal. Im frustrated and wanting to change pharmacys.
