Legacy Metal did an amazing job from working tirelessly from design to completion. Their proStaff helped my wife choose colors and designs over and over until she was happy. I changed the roof pitch on the porch to match the building and never had the first complaint from the carpenters. They worked in weather that most would quite. THE VALUE EXCEEDS ALL THE OTHER BIDS I RECEIVED. If you want quality for an affordable price go with these guys. Totally amazing price and performance.

I have done 20 plus projects with Legacy ranging from 300 to 7,500 sq ft buildings in the last 4 years. The level of commitment and service from the owner, sales team, ladies at the front desk, drivers, and the guys in the yard are unparalleled. Period. Whether you are there for a$3.00 purchase or a $30,000.00 project, the smiles and service are always the same. Quality products, services and, most importantly, people.

The over all build for our house was done great, There was a few issues but we got them fixed . They did order WAY to much lumber probably a extra $3,000 worth it was crazy . The concrete done by Ray was poor, Our porch after just a few weeks it cracked 😭which when we got a 2nd & 3rd opinion it couldnt be fixed without destroying our side walk which we did not want to do . The picture below is our porch on the right side . Its not even filled all the way like it should be ( This is the only side that looks like this, the reat is smooth and concrete all the way down ) unlike this area where gravel is coming out of it . I tried to get them and ray to fix it but i was told by Ray to just push gravel against it and was told by the president of the company that there is nothing wrong with this when clearly it is .

We called in April for a quote on a 24x32 building, over a week later we received a quote for a 24x36 building. We notified them this is not the size we requested and we were assured they would correct it. Several days later we received another quote for a 28x32 building….still not what we ask for. We called them a third time and was reassured again they would correct it and send the correct quote. Several days later we received a third quote for another 24x36 building… still not what we ask for but the same size as the first quote we had received 2 weeks earlier but this time the precise had increased $1500.00 !!! At that point we decided we were not going to ever receive a quote for a 24x32 building so we decided to go with the 24x36. We called them to inquire about the price increase, since both quotes were “good” for 15 days and neither were 15 days old. We were again reassured that they made a mistake and would honor the first quote they originally sent. We agreed to move forward with that building but we’re told they would have to have Zack, the guy who wrote the quotes call us back. Well 10 days passed and we did not hear from Zack since we contacted them yet again. We were then sent an email stating the price of the building had yet increased again approximately $1000 more!!! So clearly they lied to us and had no intentions of honoring the first quote as they told us they would!!! And by the way we NEVER received a quote on the building size we originally requested!!! Stay away these people have got too big, treat their customers horrible and clearly do not need to make anymore money!!! This is not how you treat people!

AVOID! Worked with Legacy to get a quote and revisions. Ordered and come to find out they cant accurately quote a building roof tin square footage, trusses missing brackets, and bar joists missing seats. Called to get corrected and got the run around. Employee not with company, no signed contract... I called to proceed with order, and was never offered a contract. No my contractor has to weld brackets, reinforce joists, and order 24 of roofing sheetmetal... Small claims here I come.

Bought a lean-to kit. Heres what Ive learned about Legacy: if you want to make a pick up appointment but still have to wait a couple hours to load, Legacy Hoptown is for you. If you want a kit that has several hundred dollars in things you dont need, buy Legacy. If you want the wrong color trim, Legacy. If you want to call about getting issues resolved and not have calls returned Legacy is GREAT at that. If you want to be falsely promised a refund and an accurate time those extra items will be picked up, again Legacy is the BEST. If you want to continue to try to get it resolved, only to again not have calls returned, may I suggest Zach at Legacy. Look, I am pleased with the lean-to, the quality is good. However, I just cant imagine how thier customer service is so terrible. Absolutely horrible to the point of comical. Unprofessional, unorganized and a joke. Stuff still sitting here and no refund. Been weeks, I give up!

Follow up to Legacys responseThank you for replying to my review. I would like to clarify a few things.1. The builders DID NOT put up or do anything to my sons basketball goal, we did.2. The wood was delivered almost a month before the project got started; Legacy gave us a start day a few times which did not correspond with builders with a response from the builders I dont know where they got that date so there were some red flags about communication3. When the building got started the builders asked where the rest of the wood was and we told them that was all that was delivered. Legacy brought out the rest of the lumber but then made a comment that they think some of the lumber was stolen from our house? (no lumber was stolen from our house, another organizational issue)4. Prior to the build you asked for approx. $24,000 which was fine, however when it was time to build the sliding door in the back, the builders said that they needed 6 X 6s. My husband told them that we already paid for the wood, but if they didnt have the wood it would be cheaper for them to use a longer door track and they agreed. The next day the builders requested a check at 6:30am (which was a theme for them) for a $109.00 for the new track and said that they were told they could not start work until they got the check. Really, we paid you $24,000 and they were told they couldnt start work unless they got a $109.00 check? I think the builders saw the craziness in that after my husband talked to them and tore up the check. My husband was just trying to help them with the cost (which really should have went back to us).5 The breezeway was build incorrectly. They did tear it down and rebuild it, but it should be that way, they made the mistake. We were asked to pay 450.00 at the end to make up for their mistake, but my husband told you that he didnt think that was fair. Legacy made the comment that it needs to be paid for somehow. Guess how much our new restocking fee was ...yep 450.006. The builders left our project completely and did another project from beginning to finish. This is where we really started getting irritated.7. The changes that we requested were all done prior to signing the contract except for changing the garage door height and we were fine paying the 60/door restocking fee.8. My husband told a representative from the get go that he wanted the doors to contour to the building and they said that was fine that it would just be heavier duty springs etc. No extra cost was discussed, but when it was time to install the doors we were told it would be an extra 150/door.9. The concrete- Its not clear who should pay for concrete, but it appears it is included in the cost. When it was time to pay for the concrete, we told the concrete people that Legacy is responsible they said that Legacy said we were to pay. We told them we would check and the concrete people said they have this problem with legacy a lot. We finally agreed to paying the concrete which left us with a credit (prob because the concrete was included in the cost) but anyway so when the last thing happened with the doors we had had enough and told you to just give us the credit for the doors and our outstanding credit and lets just part ways. But guess what, that credit by your reports was significantly lower than what the actual credit was. After going back and fourth you finally agreed that we were right but guess what? The restocking fee went up. So in fear you were going to find some other way to take away our credit we did agree on a final price. a10. There was so much back and forth, it made us very nervous about the whole situation and feel that a regular person who doesnt know about the building process would not come out ahead. It was very disorganized and a stressful process11. Yes, we do have a beautiful garage and breeze way (that was rebuilt) and we are thankful for that. The quality is very good, but our overall experience was stressful and we felt like it could have gone south at any minute.

The owner of this company has made it a habit of trying to sabatoge others behind their backs. Customers who have spent thousands of dollars at his store were trashed behind their backs to others unknowingly. It’s EXTREMELY unprofessional and childish. He needs to know his business will suffer for doing that. Customers don’t want to hear a business owner trashing other customers. Who’s next if he does it to someone else? I will make sure I NEVER spend another dime with this store. And from now on, when someone asks me my opinion about this store, I will now tell them how the owner treats others. I had always given a good opinion to others about this place, but never again. There are too many other places to spend hard earned money than this place. Don’t waste your time with Legacy. They will mark up the price on materials and labor and pay their workers next to nothing. Your building will be full of cheap short cuts to make him more money. So remember that when you get a bid from this place!
