Drove all the way from Tennessee to visit.All employees immediately greeted us with a warm welcome, which caught me off guard. “Good morning” I said back. This changed my mood from sleepy to awake and cheerful. And about those donuts! Great tasting and fresh. They also have small breakfast sandwiches. I am tired of all the Krispy Kreme hype. Shipley Do-Nuts is just as good.

Always wonderful. Even though we were just passing through this small town, we had to stop here. The donuts were just as good as I remember when I was a kid. Very nostalgic and delicious. My family has so happy to see us walk in with boxes of these donuts when we made it to my Grandparents house.

Highly recommended. Going as Mr Donut now. I dont visit often, but this place is a treat when I do. Great staff!!

Only got 1 star because I wouldn’t be able to write a review. I decided to try them because they were told to be so good. We got there and the door was locked yet they close at 7. We went through the drive through and asked for fresh donuts. She said they weren’t cooking any and that they only cook them early in the morning like it’s been 12 hours prior who wants those. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to eat here.

Donuts are great and a little smaller than most of the places i am accustomed to in the midwest but they are the tastiest. I had the glaze. Shipley is also one of the only places i have been able to find where they creme filling is actually chocolate.

Their donut holes practically melt im your mouth they are so delicious! Always fresh, excellent prices. Shipley do-nuts will always be my first choice when it comes to getting morning treats!

This is not a true Shipleys donut store; It is a Mr. Donut or something. In addition, if you have enjoyed a Shipleys donut in Texas, this is not even close.

TRIED TO CONTACT THE STORE IN HORN LAKE MS BUT NO ANSWER ALSO TRIED CORPORATE STILL NO ANSWER. WILL GO BACK BUT WILL TASTE FIRST BEFORE BUYING TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE UP TO PAR.DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER

Kind, quick service, amazingly delicious donuts and kolachis around other breakfast food and a good selection of drinks from coffee to juice to milks and energy drinks. My daughter and I go here every Friday and Saturday. It is our favorite.

4 stars because no coffee 930 on Sunday am. The donuts tasted better than ever. Really! I have been going there for seven years. They must have new owners using quality ingredients now.

People need to remember or at least understand that the business they are going into is not a national chain and is a local owner/family place. They serve mainly to locals and returning customers. These people know when they can get hot fresh doughnuts. They can’t afford to cook doughnuts all day like Krispy Creme. Every time we have been to Shipley’s it’s been good. Sure some times they run out of something or not open the hours I like, but they always have been pleasant and helpful when we visit. I recommend Shipley’s but get there early to get fresh hot doughnuts.

My family and I come here for kolaches and barvarian filled donuts almost weekly and normally our experience is great however the barvarian donuts today were definitely not right... As soon as you bite in you taste a nail polish remover flavor for about 10 seconds then a slight subtle hint of barvarian flavor. I asked my wife and daughter to try it to see if it was just me (all I told them was that it tastes funny) and they said the same thing that it tasted like nail polish remover. So I bring my 2 barvarian donuts in and speak to the man with the mustache and he scoops a spoon of the barvarian filling out for me to sample and it definitely had the same nail polish remover flavor then he says well this is how we always make it. So I asked him to try it... Again he immediately says this is how we always make it them he turns and walks away without offering me replacement donuts or any type of compensation. I work serving customers on a daily basis and I would never treat my customers this way... I just wanted to alert them that their donuts werent right so that they wouldnt sell some to anyone else and to save anyone from perhaps getting sick. Oh well lesson learned, FYI I would not be leaving any review had this been handled in a professional manner

The elderly woman that works the drive through is very rude. You can by pass her by going inside and speaking with one of the nicer assistants. Kolaches are great.

Donuts tasted old.I worked in shipleys in Hattiesburg ms and their donuts are awesome...all day long. Cinnamon twist were terrible.glazed tasted old even when I warmed one.!!!! Good services tho... But I wont go back!! Ever!!

Shipleys has the best donuts in the area! You can ask for hot, glazed donuts in the morning that are 10 times better than Krispy Kreme. They also have breakfast biscuits, kolaches, and fritters.

Very good doughnuts. In my opinion Shipley doughnuts are better then Dunkin but no comparison to Krispy Kreme. This place is easy to get to and always has fresh eats.
