Even though it was simple, the tattoo turned out great. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone I know. The atmosphere was not great. The workers/artists are judgmental and entitled. Seth did great and was good conversation, but kept trying to change my partner’s mind about the font of the tattoo they’ve been waiting years to get and was being downright rude about it. Again, good work, but if you’re looking for a supportive and friendly atmosphere this is not the place for you. I almost stormed out of the shop over the entitlement.

Know it all, better than you atmosphere . If you hold an idea close to you take it somewhere else, it can be done these guys are just too good to

Amazing place! Everything is super clean and nice. Good vibes all around. Harley was amazing and super comforting. She really knows what she is doing and is super informative with customers. Piercing was pretty much painless and she gave me all the information I needed for cleaning and caring for my new piercing. Everyone is super friendly and prices are great! Definitely recommend Black Pearl and I will be back as soon as I can!

I brought my daughter to get a helix piercing and Harley was very thorough explaining each step. She was very gentle and comforting.I would recommend her for a piercing!

Got a nice rib piece yesterday and i love it. I didnt have the right stuff to do the numbing cream so my ribs were not numb, but my tattoo artist worked with me and the tattoo came out great. Great quality and very reasonably priced👍👍

Came here for their great reviews, just wanted a simple tiny tattoo on my wrist. The lady at the counter assigns me a new tattoo artist or I guess someone in training without my knowledge. Now I have to get a laser removal. I know it takes time to learn this stuff but I would prefer to be asked if its okay to have someone new tattoo on my skin.. permanently. Not everyone is okay with that.

Amazing environment. Staff is always open and friendly. They are quick to help and very thorough in explaining all the processes and answering any questions you may have. Got my first tattoo here and got a peircing today. Love the environment and attitude in the shop. Would absolutely recommend if you want quality work for fair prices.

Best shop in the area hands down. All of the employees are amazingly friendly and talented. Head artist is Jared Ordoyne, if you are looking for an artist to make your ideas come to life - hes the guy! He has a very light hand, an amazing talent doing freehand space/galaxy pieces and does his absolute best to make you happy. The piercer is also very professional and knowledgeable. He is very gentle, will double check the placement and the evenness of the piercing with you before doing anything and explains the aftercare very well. He also makes a point to tell his clients to contact him with any questions or if they need help changing out the jewelry later on. Overall, the entire crew here is amazing!

I live in New Orleans, where there are tons of tattoo shops, and drive almost an hour and a half to get tattooed at The Black Pearl by Jessica. She is the best! Ive had a total of 7-8 sessions with her and I will continue to go back in the future. Cant say enough good things about her and the rest of the staff there!! Thanks!!
