Always very pleased with Barker Kia in both sales department and service department. I have bought 4 cars in 6 years. The one I am driving has lasted 8 years and I’m still driving my daughters car was 9 years. My granddaughter has had her car for 3 years with no factory caused issues. 4th car was a second hand car for oldest daughter that has had no issues for the 3 years she has had it. Would definitely recommend barker Kia to anyone

Had an appointment at 3 for an oil change/tire rotation. Took them exactly 2 hours to finish. Sad thing is I go routinely to this same place every 3-5,000 miles and the wait is always the same. Even with an appointment. The waiting room is really tiny, they offer no refreshments (not that it’s a big deal) but Toyota has awesome hospitality in their service department. So to compare these two are like night and day. And not to mention they only had 3 chairs for their service customers to share for a two hour wait. Needless to say- I was one standing until a chair was available. I’ll stick to Toyota when buying a vehicle from now on. Their service department is incomparable and worth every penny. Kia- take some hints from your local Toyota service department and bring it up a few notches!!!

My experience was pleasant. The technician was nice and helpful. They estimated my wait time for about an hour. I was out in 45 minutes. Nice people and speedy service.

Three days to get no update on my car, kept being told it was in the shop and would get an update when they knew something. Went to pick it up and was basically told “nothing” was wrong with it. Never again will i bring my kia.my car just had its engine replaced 6 months ago... and now my car is shaking.

Barker Kia gave us great customer service. From the min we walked in and met with a sale person. They show us two different suv. Let us take them on test ride. Came back to the dealership and let us talk with each other on which suv we wanted. They handle the trade in and giving us a fair price on the suv we bought. I recommend Barker Kia in Houma to anybody that is in the market for a brand new car

Terrible place for service. I had to make an appointment and had to wait a whole week to bring my car. Waited another week for my car to just sit there. Would never get service from there again. Shout out to JP Thibodaux Kia for getting a job done that Barker Kia wouldnt do.

I WOULDN’T... I’ve been there twice and had a bad experience both times…both times in the service department...In the future...and If you have to use these people, do not schedule maintenance on your vehicle at 7:30 AM… they don’t even start showing up till 730… And they move at a snails pace till 8 AM... they don’t honor Kia maintenance packages...Either that or they’re too lazy to find it in the system… This time I showed up with a coupon book and they didn’t even recognize it at first... I could list a bunch of other things but I guess you’ll take the warning...If not, good luck!! By the way ALL the Kia’s in New Orleans are very efficient… These people need to take a page out of their playbook

I Brought my Kia to get recall fixed and I asked them to check my air conditioner I do have a warranty but he said nothing was wrong with it it’s still not working right but I did call someone today and he agreed to look at it again so I do appreciate that

The service is very slow! I waited 3 hours for an oil change. Given one star just because the staff are friendly.

Bought our vehicle over 2 years ago. Brad was just as helpful then as he is now. Weve grown attached to the barker kia family over the years. The service department is a little longer than wed all like but they do their best to be there for everyones family needs.

Terrible experience. Salesperson never communicated with me as to availability of the vehicle I wanted to purchase. Seemed disinterested in my business. I came to the dealership when the vehicle was supposed to be there only to be told to check back next week. Still waiting on a call back. Buying a Toyota today due to excellent treatment at Greg Leblanc. Maybe this person has something going on in her life causing a problem but as a potential customer I felt like I was more of a problem than a source of income.

As a first time auto buyer I felt like I was let down....I did buy a 3 year old auto and 4 months in on our first long distance trip to visit my 86 year old mom in Fla. Oceans Springs Ms. had to replace all tires because of bad tires on the inside wallsBe sure and check Everything before you buyThey wouldnt even cover half my expenses...lost 4 hours too
