First timer here, saw them as I was passing through yesterday and decided to give them a try even though it was 45 minutes before closing as I knew they’d be low on choices based on experience with other shops. I took a sampling of some items they had left (devil’s food and glazed), wow, they were delicious!!! Super fresh even being later in the day, we didn’t eat them until later that evening. The devils food was so light and airy to be a cake donut, which we all enjoyed. The glazed were fantastic as well. The young gentleman and young lady that assisted me in the drive thru were so friendly and he gave me tips on how to ensure I get specific flavors in the future, although what I had of what was left was enough to return. It’s worth the 20 minute drive for us and I’ve had other favorites in the area but these are now our preferred. Thank you to the two employees for their kindness and for the delicious donuts. Can’t wait to return!

The five year old summed up the experience the best when we arrived in the parking lot. Smells like donuts! Yummy! We got an assorted dozen. There is a nice variety of donuts and having two young boys helping to make the selection slows that part down a bit but we were in and out of the store quickly.

Good place for donuts at a very convenient location just down the road from a busy and very large intersection, but, they sell out very quickly because they do not make enough donuts to last throughout the day because they close at 1 pm...I was there at 11:55am. VERY BUSY in the mornings!!! They do have a wide variety of donuts, but not enuf shelf space to store them in like Ive seen at other shops. They do have a drive-up window, which is a welcome and interesting twist (pardon the pun) for a donut shop to have. Im not sure if all the donuts are made from scratch or not, some taste and have the texture of having been made from ingredients from a bag and mixed in a large mixer. Sometimes the donuts arent the freshest. They do have coffee available. Overall, if u want your sweet-tooth donut fix, make a beeline to their door to get your fill!!!

I do apologize for have given a review on a different donut palace in Ohio. I travel and Google does not always give the address when asking for reviews. This particular place on Old Troy Pike is an amazing facility with some of the most delicious donuts ever tasted. Again my apologies for the mishap.

We ordered a Chocolate Donut Cake with Orange flavored icing. I would have never ordered it if I had know they replaced their previous baker. The chocolate donut cake was too rich, hard as a rock and not very good. The icing looked disgraceful and didnt have any orange flavor, just orange color. Definitely disappointed and wont be ordering again. The previous cake was absolutely delicious with a delicate chocolate taste, like their chocolate glazed donuts, and a nice balanced orange flavor. There were also two layers with the orange icing nestled between.

I purchased three donuts and one was definitely stale. I would suggest just getting normal flavors to avoid getting one that was stale. The twist was especially good compared to other places. I liked the atmosphere, the labeled donuts were nice when selecting a donut. The staff was friendly and three donuts cost around $3.00.

The staff is always friendly but the product does not have the quality it used to have. They are dry, at least a day old. Should be sold at a discount.

We just left this place. All I can say is OH MY GOD! I am so glad we found it! Forget any other breakfast joint and come here. The donuts were unlike ANY donut we’ve ever had. The staff went above and beyond for us. It’s really difficult to get my 6 year old to eat anything. They were out of the one donut he wanted (we showed up a little late). I asked if they could stick some M&M’s on a donut for him and they did! I’m not from this area, where I’m from people don’t DO that. Where I come from it’s “no exceptions.” “Get what you get.” But, not here. They were happy to help, and SO sweet about it. Now, for the donuts... they were tender, packed with flavor, and moist (as much as I hate that word, that’s the best word to use for them.) I’m absolutely dumbfounded. We will certainly be back when we come to town. 100% highly recommend!!

Got my first ever Donut Palace with DoorDash. Can I say this place does not disappoint! The freshness of the donuts felt like they had been made within the hour. Jelly filled powdered had at least a quarter cup of jelly inside. While still holding up and not falling apart. Strawberry cake was super tender. Cake donuts seem to always be heavy and crumblely. Not these. The plain glazed ring I would put up against Krispy Kreme any day. Bigger, fluffier and the glaze is just as tasty. I cannot recommend Donut Palace enough.

Theyre the best in town. Sometimes they arent the freshest, sometimes they are. They have a Blueberry Hibiscus tea that is yummy and worth the try if you like tea.

This little shop is worth the 25 minute drive that we make. Their food is fresh and the employees are efficient and pleasant!

I was super excited to try the donuts but was very disappointed. The 2 I got were stale and hard and we got them at like 830 in the morning. I could understand if we stopped by in the afternoon. Not sure if I will return.

I ordered a dozen assorted and 6 glazed twists through Doordash and was super excited to try them. I was most looking forward to the chocolate cream filled. The donuts look great and are pretty big. However the chocolate one tasted stale and old. I did try one of the glazed twists and it tasted great and super fresh but my family said some of the other specialty ones they tried were a bit stale as well. The glazed were good but the others were disappointing.

Extremely rude. Didn’t give us what we asked for or tell us they were out. Nothing special or different about their donuts to be so rude or limit customers. Won’t be going back. I’d rather go to Tim Horton around the corner or even Kroger bakery.

Worst donuts I have ever eaten. Tasted like they fried the donuts in old oil. Donuts were stale.

I ordered through DoorDash. I was really excited to get some donuts they even drew a smiley face on my box. So I really wanted to like these, but it was so gross. Not only did all my donuts taste really old they didn’t even bother to get my order right. For example I ordered a lemon powdered donut, the one I was looking most forward to and instead they gave me some random lemon pastry. It wasn’t even good. That wasn’t the only problem but I’m not going to continue on. I’ve honestly had my order messed up a lot, almost always but this is my first time being so angry I left a review on google about it.

Always a great place to pick up fresh donuts. Very wide selection, always fresh, staff are always friendly. There only downside would be, certain items run out quickly, so the early bird gets the worm most definitely applies.

I placed an order two hours ahead of time of delivery to be told while driver is there that they were out of donuts which is ridiculous! Now they will claim they called but left no message for a call back . Horrible service, will never order again

Go to Jims Donuts in Vandalia you will not be disappointed. Staff are extremely friendly even through their rushes. Donut Palace has lost my business permanently because theyre rude and refuse to change. Donuts are good but Jims Donuts are the best using top notch ingredients. Its worth the trip.

I always go through the drive thru normally to pick up donuts for work. I always have very fast and great service. My coworkers rave about the donuts every time I bring them in. Our daughter in law was in from Phoenix over Thanksgiving and we got the custard filled with chocolate icing. Her comment was “This is the one thing no place can get right in all of metro Phoenix! The perfect custard filled donut!”. We sent the rest of them home with her to enjoy on her flight. Now that I’ve posted this review I think I’ll run up to Donut Palace for a few! Did I mention my nickname has been Donut for over 50 years?

I was turned on to this place by co-workers bringing me donuts. They have the best donuts so I finally made the trip there myself, but sadly they have the rudest people I have ever dealt with in my life! I live 5 minutes from Bill’s donuts but was willing to drive to Huber because the donuts are great, but that was my first and last trip. I will support Bill’s donuts since they have better customer service skills. People, you really need to work on your customer service skills, the good donuts does not make up for the poor customer service!

Very good donuts. Different taste than most other places. The donuts seem a little lighter and more airy and less greasy. The icings are also a little different tasting as well. Its not a bad thing, it’s just different. Worth the stop.

Solid doughnuts and a friendly staff. My coworkers are always happy when I come in with a mixed dozen. Theyve got some creative toppings like cookies and cream and buckeye. They also make doughnut cakes which are beautiful and delicious.

FRESH • FRESH • FRESH! if you’re looking for a variety of specialty donuts — this is the place. they also have the BEST glazed donuts in the area. i’ve been to other competitors, but there’s no competition when it comes to Donut Palace. I will definitely be returning and would recommend anybody to stop in for some donuts and coffee. They have $6 glazed dozens on Monday and Wednesday! Keep it up, the quality is amazing!

They sell the best donuts ever in life! Always Super Fresh and light and doughy and sweet and heavenly! The young lady who helped us seemed a little shy but was very friendly. If you are diabetic like me, avoid this place at all cost! I only went because it was my sons birthday!

Purchased donuts for my employees, they were amazing! All of my staff were very impressed, and have requested them again. The interior surprised me, I hadn’t been there since it was operated by a previous owner/company. The reason for only four stars was because the cashier wasn’t the most attentive or engaged. The quality makes up for it though, I will be back soon!

They saved the Donut Palace Legacy! Sure they have some problems, but show me another shop that opened two locations in two years, one in Huber Heights and the Trotwood location. With what seems to me over $40,000 in renovation and planning, can you describe another local, family owned donut shop that has this kind of environment and create a wonderful product?

They may have the name of donut palace but they dont have the recipe the apple fritters have no apple in them and the twist where still doughy in the middle

Hits and misses. Cake donuts with sprinkles taste amazing, but tend to fall apart. Yeast donuts were very average. Prices are reasonable (18 donuts for $15). The Davy Crockett I purchased was clearly NOT baked earlier that same day.

Great place for donuts. Mondays and Wednesdays a special on their glazed donuts and twists for $5 a dozen. Very sweet! But delicious!!Apple fritters are hit-and-miss depending on the baker. I have been disappointed before and the lack of apples in the Fritter for the price.If you have time go inside the store to order. The drive-thru is extremely slow. Then again theres usually only one worker behind the counter.
