I can’t say enough about this gentleman. I received a new guitar for Christmas, and when I took it out of the box, I noticed that one of the strings was broken. I found out about this guitar shop from a google search, and he very quickly not only repaired my guitar, made sure that it has the right sound to it. But he was very nice and polite as well. I recommend his shop to all, and I would gladly make the drive even if I lived across town from him.

Booney is fantastic. He gave my guitar a setup, fixed a wonky fret, installed a coil split, and even managed to brighten up a dark pickup while he was at it. Excellent work for an excellent price. I would happily go back.

I went to Booney about my broken ukulele. I was so distraught, and he told me he can fix it. The whole neck broke off the ukulele, and some pieces. I finally put some strings on it. Found Booney through websearch. Hes located near my place of employment, so it was easy to drop off my guitar. Had him do a set up. His work was excellent, on time, and fairly priced. I plan on having him do more work for me on a modding project in a month or two. Highly recommend his services!

Brought in 4 guitars for setups, a fret fix up, and to add a pickguard to my Les Paul. Booney went above and beyond to ensure that my guitars when he finished them were to my liking, and made doing business with him very personal and truly showed an enthusiasm toward working with me and my guitars as Im sure he does with each of his clients. I used to take my guitars to guitar center just to get a quick setup, but NO LONGER will I be returning to guitar center for any kind of guitar work now that I have found Booney. He breaks the star scale, 10/10 will be returning for my future guitar related needs!

Booney has done work on a lot of my guitars and every time the instrument has come back it perfect playing shape. Fretless conversion? Perfect. Woodwork repair? Perfectly solid. Wiring? Well done and with the best components. Unusual guitar? No questions asked, all good. I cannot ask for any more.

Booney is a solid luthier at a very reasonable cost! I was needing help transforming my acoustic guitar into a baritone guitar (temporarily). He listened carefully to what I wanted to do, then he precisely, and quickly delivered back to me an instrument I was VERY happy to play. I highly recommend his service.

Did a great job in setting up my new guitar. I wanted it set up differently than my other guitar and he gave me some great suggestions on what strings to use and then offered to change them out for free if I didnt like it. You really dont get that kind of service from the Big Dog stores. Great work at a superior price.I brought my Squier strat into Booney, in pretty bad shape I should add, a couple hours later I picked up my guitar and was incredibly impressed with the work he did, not only does it play better than before by leagues but he also set it up to my blues-y preference, all for just 35$! Took my Ibanez AM73 in for new pots, rewire, and capacitors...perfect values, pickups much better balanced, went the extra mile and even polished the fretboard. Great setup, didnt have to change a thing. Follow up phone calls. Booney ROX.

This guy is one of the best guitar tecs Ive ever known. He can fix anything.. and does it cheaper than all the big name guys. Take him your business. Right beside his shop is Golden Hands Hair Salon (his moms shop). You can kill two birds with one stone... get Lolly to cut your hair while Booney fixes your guitar.

Terrible service, lied to me about the correct part I needed to fix the tone on my guitar. Took it to Katz and turns out that it was a simple wire issue, as well as the part he sold me for 15 dollars was a cheap Chinese part easily purchaseable on amazon for 2 dollars. Refused to return money when confronted.

If its not important to him, he wont do it. Just needed him to replace a peg on a guitar, take 5 minutes. He had 48 hours to do it. This was for a disadvantaged 4th grader btw, which he knew. It was only 7 dollars, so maybe not enough money to care. We picked it up and moved on. So there... If its not worth it to him, he wont do it. But i will so look me up on fb if u need guitar repairs done quickly, no matter how small. Dudes phoney.
