It is a great place to have your eyes checked. The doctors and the people who happened to be in the sign in office tend to have a very welcoming and friendly manner way to help you. My mom got her glasses and she was charged for the cleaning towels so it’s okay cuz it was just a $1 each. I had my glasses arrive 17 days after my exam and for my mom and sibling was on the 15 th day after the exam. They have a sale where you can get two nonbrand glasses for $99. Which I got, and they do offer brands like RayBan, Prada, Oakley... and so on. The lady who attended me she was very helpful and patient. She gave me so many samples to chose from which I really liked. Compared to my mom she was given about 5 samples which kinda limited her options. So yeah it all depends on the person who helps you. They do fix your glasses if they happen to not fit. Overall I been attending to this place since I was a teen so I don’t have much complaints.

DENISE is Awesome! She was very great with my Special needs non verbal son. Denise took her time and at the end we were able to find out that my son did need glasses. I am so lucky to have found this wonderful lady in the health field. I recommend her highly if your kid needs a friendly face at a new place.

I walked in blind and hungry. From a distance I heard the voice of one of the nicest persons (Carmen). Dr. Hernandez Sr. and Jr. are really helpful. I’ve also been seen by Dr. Johnson, I’m very satisfied by all the staff. I was able to walk out with 20/20 vision! I’m still hungry tho, but that’s an issue they can’t fix. However, there’s a restaurant right next door!

I was helped by Hugo who was really patient with me while I chose my glasses. He went above and beyond, and explained my options and insurance coverage. I ended up choosing two pairs! The staff here is great but Hugo and Dr. Johnson have definitely stood out to me as very helpful and knowledgable. I highly recommend this optometrist office!

They are unprofessional. They couldn’t verify my kids information before I arrive to see if they were able to been seen. It was a waste of time. Waiting for almost an hour. And then they said I had to reschedule Never again would I come here.

My Son waited for his prescription glasses for 4 months since November 2020. I called on March 5th 2021 and coincidentally they arrived that day. When I went to pick up the glasses, the girl gave me the glasses and no spray or cloth to clean them. I asked her for some since he was getting them for the first time and the girl wanted to charge me for the cloths and spray. What a shame waited 4 months and they couldnt give that to my son. Definitely taking my business elsewhere.

My first times visiting this location I had a great experience. My last visit doesn’t have me very please. Before October I went to get my glasses and it took over a month to receive them. When I finally got it they gave me the wrong prescription so I had to take the glasses back. It’s been more then a month again and I didn’t hear no updates about my glasses.

Good staff. Super helful. Denise was very tentative. She definitely spent the time helping me with picking out a great pair of glasses.

My sister has been trying to get a pair of glasses from this establishment for nearly a month now. After her first eye exam, she received a pair of glasses that were not the correct prescription. She had to go for a second eye exam, only to later receive a pair of glasses that did not include a feature (anti-glare) that she paid for. The office allowed my sister to keep the glasses with the missing feature in the meantime while the third pair arrived, but she has been getting headaches because of the lack of anti-glare (shes had recurring headaches since the first pair of glasses).Furthermore, the offices associates claim that their supplier is to blame for the glasses shortcomings, though they refused to compensate my sister for the inconvenience. Essentially, this renders their clientele as collateral damage because of this offices poor taste in suppliers. I understand that we are currently in a pandemic, but I believe that weve had enough time to adjust, especially when a billion dollar company like Carl Zeiss is involved. Overall, Im very disappointed with this service and regret referring my friends and family to this place.

This was my first time coming to Dr. Hernandez Optometry and I was not disappointed. The office is very clean and has such wonderful and helpful staff. I’ve been coming here for the last 3 years and I love it and I feel very comfortable. I went today for my yearly eye exam and to get new glasses and the lady in the front was extremely nice and helpful. It was very quick even though I was a walk in. The doctor was the best ! I wish I could remember her name. The exam was great and now I had to go pick out some new glasses. Since I have medical I got some free glasses my insurance would cover. They had a lot of great options ! The one that help me was named Moises he was very helpful and had a great energy. He was very patient with me I tried on at least 15 pairs till I found the perfect ones haha. 100 % recommend this place ! It’s very clean and has a great vibe to it. I will definitely tell everyone I know about this place.

Zero stars for this place I have been waiting for my glasses for over a month when they told me they would be ready in two weeks and nothing. I like this place. I was going to another eye doctor because of their service, but it was a little far from my house. So after many years I decided to come back to my first eye doctor in Los Angeles, Dr. Hernandez. He is an expert at his field. I did not give 5 stars because I feel they can work a bit on the front desk greeting. The girls are really good at their job, but a big smile goes a long way. There is one girl that smiles a lot. she does the pre-test. I dont know her name but she is great!! also Hugo. he is very friendly.
