Nice People! I went there to buy propane, but the place was jumping with gun customers. One guy was buying the hunting rifle he had wanted for a long time. Another was looking at a scope. There were five sales people and brought in more from the back office. Not only the employees but also the customers were so pleasant!

Had to drop off a hand gun for service and the staff was extremely professional. They fixed the weapon in two minutes and gave it back no charge. Everyone is so polite and professional and not just another salesman A Great place to shop

5 stars for my in-person experience, 5 stars for 2/3 of my phone experience, and 2 stars for one of my phone experiences (so I average them to 4 stars).My first 2 phone calls were great. They were patient and explained everything for my somewhat-less-common situation: getting a non-legal-in-NY rifle sent to them, and them making the necessary adjustments to make it legal before transferring to me. On the 2nd call they said that they were starting to run low on the mag-lock kits (to legalize the gun here) and I should considering buying them once the rifle was en route so I didnt have to wait for more.2 days before the rifles were scheduled to be delivered to them I called to confirm inventory and dealt with an impatient and frustrated person who isnt one of the gun guys. But I was basically told the opposite of my previous calls: I cant buy the mag-lock kits and they have plenty, and I shouldnt call until my rifle has confirmed delivery via tracking.I know gun shops have been slammed for months so I left it alone. 2 days later I go to pick my 5 rifles and they had only 2 kits left, and no ETA for more. So I could only take 2 of them, and order more kits and now waiting for those to arrive.The in-shop experience was very good. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and patient people (I worked with Phil), especially for someone like myself whos new to much of this.Overall I recommend them but if you speak to the non gun guy call back another time--the gun guys know their stuff.

I want to make it clear my interaction was during the COVID event. The store was empty and I had several questions. The individual shrugged me off multiple times even though he wasnt busy. He tells me he pretty much has no ammo and pretty much has no fire arms. Ok that is fine its not his fault it is all selling out. So I ask how much to use your FFL to order something online. The guy gets ticked off and tells me the price and says but if you do that you arent supporting or buying from the store so wont help you at all. Ill hand you the fire arm and wont be giving you any advice or wasting my time. I dont understand how you can tell me you have nothing to offer me. So i suggest paying you money so I can order offline and get something that you currently cant offer me. He is literally going to make some money by the transfer. Interactions like this will have you lose customers like me. There is no reason to be rude like this. I have seen other super busy stores who will be 100 times nicer.

I bought an amazing shotgun and they made that purchase a pleasure. They have been here 50 years and I never realized the scope and extent of their in store supply. The3y have Everything. Had an awful experience at Camp-Site Sport Shop. To start, no employee wears a mask during the COVID pandemic, many customers do not wear masks either, this is really not that difficult to do/enforce. Their staff is rude, and they offer nearly nothing for individuals selling factory, unopened ammunition. Jonathan offered me $5 for a 25 pack of Winchester 12 gauge 2-3/4 shotshells, when they sell Winchester 3 shotshells for nearly quadruple that amount. I understand trying to make a profit, but when asked if he could do better, he walked away rudely. I used to shop here all the time, I will never be back here, it is a shame what this store turned into.

4 Stars because I havent been physically in this store in many years. I have only dealt with this shop outside in order to fill our propane tank. Its always a quick and easy experience and I love that there is an incentive to refill here. They give you a blue ticket for every propane tank you fill and when you collect 5 you can redeem for a free refill of propane ! Weve been coming here since I was a child with my dad who used to get fishing supplies.

Spoke to them about an ammo transfer and was told there was a fee of 10.00. I tried to explain that it was only for a box of twenty rounds of Fusion 7.62x39 SP because it was all the seller had. There were no other sellers including them who had this brand or else I would have bought it from them. I proceeded to advise them that I had just bought a $1000.00 Mini-30 from them (Campsite) a month and a half ago and was told sorry, it was $10 for “paperwork”. Wonderful, customer service isn’t it ! I will never spend another nickel in this place and will advise my friends and family as well !

The store has been around forever they have the most amazing selection of products you could imagine for fishing and hunting and of course shooting.The staff is all highly knowledgeable and experienced willing to help out they’re all a great bunch of people.They are true Americans with heart and soul for the customer. What a great shop! Not your typical if you dont know what you want get out feel. They have a great selection with a super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Campsite used to be a great store, but when Shawn left the place went down hill. There is a certain level of professionalism and personality that is essential to a good sporting goods supplier. Shawn was one if the best.

In my search for my first rifle i made an amateur mistake and stopped at Dicks. They dont sell what i want.One of the younger guys mentioned Camp Site. I was like oh yeah the place i get the propane from!I go down and from start to finish the experience was great. I actually told them i wanted to think about it and walked out. No pressure to buy just patients and answered my questions.I came back rather quickly and bought the sig sauer riffle that he showed me from the start (of course i held almost every gun there and got educated along the way.)I will update this with the sales guys name from camp site because all though he was young he was really cool about that whole purchase.

Horrible customer service. I called to order a Henry rifle, they told me it would be 1-2 weeks to come in. A month later, they would not return my calls or emails and still had my $200 deposit. I had to file a fraud charge with my credit card company to get my deposit back.
