Supermarket with a great selection and a well stocked hot food section. Always been able to walk in and grab something to eat that they’ve prepared for the day and the food is well priced and tasty. Fresh fish section and tons of produce make this a great one stop shop for all things grocery related.

The food diversity in Huntington, Huntington Station and all of long Island is some of the best in the US. Reminds me of Quincy Market in Boston.

Love the quality and presentation they had. Desserts are delicious with an extended menu with the ability to order customized cakes and desserts. Definitely a recommended place.

This market is very nice. It has a lot of international products, fresh veggies and looks very clean. The only thing that I might criticize is the side of the fish department. That smell always very strong. Different than other markets around. I dont know why.

It’s a great and clean place, especially the meat department! The meat department manager keeps the area so clean and organized and the products fresh. He is so nice and always goes above and beyond to help his costumers.

On the one hand, its an old-style grocery with excellent products. They have hard-to-find brands from Latin America. Thats all great. But on the other hand, on July 13, 2020 the cashier on Aisle 5 wore a mask over her mouth only AND SNEEZED while ringing me up. Thats BAD. Id like to see them value their customers more highly than that.

Last week i went to the store and i was wearing a mask and the sign at the door said wear a mask. So this man enter without a mask and went directly to the fish area he asked for what he wanted and he pay and left, no one told him anything. Seriously where is the manager or the one in charge??? we are still in a pandemic where cases are rising up. If you see something say something. Sadly i didnt have my phone with me to take a pic but hopefully they check the cameras.

Have a wonderful time every time I shop there! Everyone is pleasant and so helpful. I never have to go far for help. There is always someone right there. The added perk of picking me up and bringing me home with my groceries is fabulous! I do not drive so Its welcome in bad weather. I love Huntington Food Plaza! A great store in a much needed location!

During this covid19 crisis, this store has really gone above & beyond with friendly & prompt order delivery. All the store personnel are wonderful & try very hard to fulfill your order correctly starting with a phone call as they work it to make sure they substitute what you want if necessary.

The isles & shelfs were neat & clean.The vegetable dept very organized. I will shop there often.

Absolutely fabulous place. Great eclectic selection of world foods, produce to die for, as well as meats & cheeses (of course the usual American standards as well). Every time Im there I discover new things to try. The prices are insanely cheap for many items, & very reasonable for the rest. Staff is friendly, especially the aisle workers. Just LOVE this place♡

After waiting 1 hr for the Food plaza van, because I was unable to find what I needed my balance was not enough to take the van ride home. Apparently the minimum was $50 and I was unaware of that. So they denied me the ride home and I had to walk in the cold and in the dark. As a 62 year old grandmother that was unacceptable. They should have given me a warning that I was not spending enough. But Im glad. Im done with food Plaza. Their food is totally inferior. I am glad Stop & Shop is opening up down the street. Could not find any good produce or any good meats. Never shopping there again.

Great little market. The Deli Department is dynamo! I love the Antipasto and Cucumber Salad! They always get it right!

The store itself is clean and the produce is very inexpensive. During check out there is always a price discrepancy, then you cant get a manger to come and fix the problem.

The hot food needs to have a drive thru, its that amazing!! The crab stuffed fish is SOOO good! My picky 11 yr. old even loves their food. The chef has a gift to throw down, in the kitchen! Then, he tops it all off with his A+ spectacular personality! I cant hear enough of the love for Huntington Food Plaza from chefs shopping on the regular, the people in Huntington & Huntington Station giving this grocery store 5 star compliments, from every income bracket. The produce is SO fresh & NO ONE have these prices! I hear people rave about the cleanliness & how they love the prices. Also, the manager/owner is SO sweet! He has the best smile & appreciates all his customers. And, I never had an issue with any of the cashiers. Everyone is cooperative. I am a customer there & pleased. My only negative I had with them was some fat free muffins from the bakery area, that were molded. I was shocked to see that & I brought them back. I am an ice cream pheen, but I never buy my ice cream there because its full of ice.

Very good for fruits and vegetables. fresh. good prices. other things are more expensive compared to larger chain supermarkets that probably get better volume buying leverage. excellent selection of latin food. not great getting in and out of the parking lot. no turn signal if you are coming up ny avenue from the south makes it hard to make the left across traffic with the heavy volume on ny avenue.

I always find it a little difficult to find the items Im looking for, but their selection of Latin American and Caribbean foods is unmatched in the area. I usually have to ask staff for help if I dont find an item on the first few passes.

Very nice people work here. kind. they have very good vegetables and fruit, including things youd use in latin and indian dishes that youd have trouble finding at stop and shop. prices are good. though i dont think they have the volume buying capability of the big chains so other things like yogurt and soy milk are on the high side. they have a great selection of imported groceries... specialies from peru, mexico, the DR. its a good place with kind people.

I ordered 2 slices of American cheese and 5 slices of ham to make my own sandwich and the girl behind the counter told me I had to order more cheese because the scale will not give her the weight of just 2 slices of cheese
