I didnt come in to purchase a vehicle. I came in to sell my Honda Accord and just look at some used possibilities for a sturdier more Idaho winter vehicle that would make me feel safer on the road. Tried to give 3k less than my car was valued for a trade in because Its going to need a set of new tires, missing one piece of trim on the side door, and a fog light and parking sensor is pushed in which can all be fixed with less than $1,000... I instantly felt super disrespected that they would even try to offer me the numbers that they did.I just got back from another dealership and they quoted me a little more than what the car is valued at for a trade in, they actually took the time to notice that the sensor for the camera on the front bumper was actually still intact all it needed was to be fit in properly (its like brand new now)I will say the salesman that took me for a test drive in one of the vehicles seemed like a descent guy but the gentleman that came over with the numbers (dont recall his name or I would be writing it right now) was a complete joke and disrespectful and obviously doesnt know as much about cars as he thinks OR was just blatantly trying scam be out of $3,000

Employees were helpful and they were quick to get me in. Other stores wanted me to schedule two weeks out for an oil change so I drove from Pocatello to come up here. Also, not only did they wash my truck (which is pretty standard) but the kid got out after and hand dried it.

I brought my 2021 3500 Silverado (Duramax) in for its first oil change. While there, the service techs performed two outstanding recalls (software updates), changed the fuel filter, and filled all of my fluids (including the DEF).I arrived just after 6:00 pm to pick up the truck--not realizing that the service area closes at 6:00pm. Thankfully, Brandon (sales) took me back, found a female service tech (I cant recall her name) who hadnt left yet, and she cheerfully checked me out, even though she was scheduled to be done working by then.I love my truck and I love the service at Smith Chevrolet!

Left a car there to get fixed. Called multiple times. They said they would look at the issue. 3 days passed, we called and they said they would look at it the following day. 2 more days passed. We called again and they said they would look at it tomorrow. Businesses should be proactive and reach out to customers. We were interested in possibly trading it and buying a new car there. No inventory there. Lazy customer service.

I made an oil change appointment and was told it would only take 15-20 minutes. NINETY MINUTES later, my car was finally done and no one could tell me why it had taken so long. I was the only customer in the service area for over an hour so it wasnt even busy! They made me late for my evening plans and they didnt even clean my car. What were they doing for 90 minutes???! Next time I will stand at the desk, so they remember I am there.

Honestly I was a bit disappointed. I live almost 4 hours away and was in town for work and thought I could get some of these issues taken care of. But they charged me $80 just to tell me my radiator was clogged or dirty, couldn’t take care of the two codes that popped up because they said I should of left the engine light on, I got a letter in the mail FROM THEM, telling me my navigation was needing updating, never took care of it nor mentioned it when picking up truck, the guy didn’t seem to concerned about it at all. I didn’t bother asking, I figured I’d just take it somewhere else. I mean, I just bought the truck from them less then 4 months ago, and they couldn’t care less that these issues were coming up. Didn’t inform me at all at that I would still have to pay almost $150 for service fees and “materials”. I mean honestly, how would my radiator get clogged? I haven’t driven it hardly anywhere, the moment it gets hot and I drive it up here from boise it starts overheating? And they wanted to charge me $800 just to “clean” it? When I bought this truck from them I was beyond excited because I loved the truck, however, for services I will probably go elsewhere.

Shop manager Greg Gaines, was great to work with. But, typical dealer services low quote, high price. Greg kept my final cost to the minimum. Although a quote for over $400.00 for a 15 minute ignition coil change was ridiculous. (Part cost $85.00).

Initially, we were really happy with our experience with Smith Chevy. The more time goes on though, our satisfaction dwindles.First, they sold us a 2018 Chevy Silvarado with 4-ply tires and as soon as we took it on a gravel road, every tire had a gaping hole in it which we then had to try to repair between multiple trips to the one tire store open on Memorial Day weekend. We then spent money we werent planning on to buy new tires even though we were told the tires that came on the truck were new.Second, we were told we could take the truck to any Chevy dealership to get two free oil changes. My husband took it for an oil change today and he was told that the two free oil changes had already been used (by the first owner) and we had to spend another $70 on an oil change we were told was free.Very misleading and unapologetic sales team at Smiths.

I went there for an oil change. After I saw my truck sitting in the parking lot I knew my oil change was done. I went to the service counter to pay for my oil change. I saw my keys laying on top of a paper and asked the lady if I could pay for it and keep going but She said my keys werent my keys. I told her that they were my keys and that I would like to pay for the service. She refused to let me check out because my keys were not my keys. After this going on back and forth for like 10minutes, She finally got up and checked on that. After waiting another 20 minutes she finally gave me my keys back. I used to go there since I bought my truck at that dealership 9 years ago. Got oil changes, repairs etc. But after telling me that I was lying to her, that my keys are my keys and then refusing to check on that. I will go somewhere else from now on.

Came in for oil change a little before these great people opened and yet they took me right away! Very helpful to and gave me suggestions for what to do before the next oil change.

Very easy purchase with great customer service

Loved their service. We were having trouble with the heater in our Ford Escape. They came out and picked up our car had it fixed by the next morning and delivered it back to us. Couldnt have asked for better service. Jason & the staff were wonderful. Thanks will definitely use then again.

Had a problem with my 2020 HD Diesel DEF Heating system.. Appears to be a common problem and since have only owned the vehicle for a few weeks I was NOT Happy about the situation.. Was told parts were several weeks out, which was totally unacceptable,.. Somehow they got the parts and had me up and running in a couple of days.. Very Happy with the End Result....

The oil change was free as agreed upon, but it took 90 minutes and they didnt check my tail lights like I asked them to.

Everything went according to what the service attendant said would happen. Kylie or Emily, I cant quite remember her name, was great! Jeremy also made sure the recall item was taken care of so that I wouldnt have to do a return trip.

Without exception, this was the best new car buying experience weve ever had. From the beginning, negotiation was easy and ended up with a win-win (for both our trade-in and the new car) for both of us. Everyone at the dealership was very friendly, very polite, and very low pressure - exactly the opposite of other car buying experiences weve encountered over the years. We drove over 800 miles to buy this Camaro from Smith Chevrolet and our only regret is that they arent located next to us! Id give them six stars and a score of 11 if I could.

Have been here twice both times terrible. First experience, they complain about inventory i offered my 2011 suburban wasnt good enough for them so they low balled me with 500$ ended up selling it to another dealer for 7k they sold it with the week for 12k. Second experience trying to buy used vehicle would not work with me on anything damages ect. My Wife felt super uncomfortable being inside the dealership.

I had the oils changed, tires rotated. The oil filter was not correctly installed and oil leaked all day while driving my vehicle. Prior to returning to Smith Chevrolet later in the day the low oil level light illuminated. Upon reaching Smith what oil remained was actively leaking on the floor which was observed by service personnel. They promptly looked at the vehicle and discovered a faulty oil filter. It was replaced and new oil added. It was all resolved, but this was an inconvenience, and if I were out on the road it could have been disastrous. Thankfully Smith Chevrolet corrected the issue without hesitation or additional costs to me.

I will definitely work with Smith Chevrolet again! Nate and Al were great to work with. They listened to what I wanted and helped me get exactly the truck I was looking for. This was a great experience and I love my new truck!

Service department is great. I am updating review. We purchased a 2014 GMC Sierra great truck. We love the truck. We had a minor issue and the team at Smith Chevy did resolve the issues. The battery for my truck was cheaper than or the same price as AZ & OReillys. They topped off my wifes break fluid that was tripping a sensor and reprogrammed one of her tpms sensors for free. They didnt ask for a review, but I felt it was well deserved. They really defy the bad stereotype most dealerships get.

I bought my duramax here @ Smith Chevrolet and was treated very well, Ron did great on the sales. I went in for repairs and even though it was almost closing time Jason in service made it work anyway and I really appreciated that he went out of his way to help me!👍👍 When I traded my old truck I was given a fair price for it. Im only passing through the area once or twice a year but they do theyre best to help where possible. Very friendly and helpful staff! Knowledgeable service department also recommended!
