This is an honest, salt of the earth, family run business. I was magnetically drawn into this store by the instrument displays in the windows. I hadnβt picked up a French horn since 1998 and the older gentlemen were so kind to let me try out their one French horn that was for sale. It was reasonably priced and I even got a free 60 second music lesson!!
Replaced my amplifier tubes and checked everything else to make sure it was all working properly. Then I had them tune up my acoustic guitar with smoothing over the frets, crowning them, and straightening the neck. Amazing work, reasonable prices, fast and efficient, friendly customer service. If you need any kind of technical work done to an instrument that youre uncomfortable doing yourself, this is the place to go.
I called to get a guitar set up for the first time and the price was very fair! They even got it back to me the same day, they do incredible work!
This is the place in John Mayerβs βShadow Daysβ video, so it must be good.
I brought in my trombone for a chem clean and slide realignment and the service was impeccable. My slide feels better than new and the service was quick.
They were so good to me. They were very personal I were interested in me and my needs. I love this place.
Absolutely phenomenal service. Definitely experts in their field and will treat you as a friend. Great prices and great selection. What more can you ask for?
The staff were extremely knowledgeable and helpful, they had a great turn around time working on my amp. Couldnt recommend them enough.
Fantastic shop and great resource for musical instruments. They wont gouge you on pricing and they are the best in the area
Ive been taking my instruments to Musicare all my life. They did a beautiful job restoring a flute for me, maintaining my instruments through high school and college, and then they recently helped me sell my saxophone for a great price!! No one knows more about instruments or takes better care of them!
I was so incredibly impressed and charmed by this shop and its owners! Purchasing a new instrument here was not just a transaction. The owners truly care about what they do and want you to love your new instrument and be successful. They are definitely not just in it for the money. I donβt think they would have let us leave without feeling absolutely satisfied that we knew what we were doing when it comes to my sonβs new oboe. Knowing that the oboe is finicky and not a super common choice, they spent extra time (basically a mini-lesson) teaching us both how to assemble the oboe, care for the reeds, clean the oboe, and they helped my son play his first notes. Getting a new instrument is such a special time, and they treated that moment the way it should be, enhanced it, even. Thank you so much for sharing your passion with us! It was our first time, but youβve made us customers for life!
The kindest people on the planet. They are always more than helpful, and always make sure I get the best I can for my success in music.
The owner is very knowledgeable and experienced. He will definitely take care of your instruments, and you can learn so much. The work is very reasonably priced as well!!
Great guys and expert musical instrument repair.
I just love Muiscare. They do exceptional repair work and have great instruments and supplies for sale. I purchased an instrument from them a few years ago and it has been my pride and joy ever since. Probably the most impressive thing about Muiscare for me is that they seem to care just as much about me as they do about instruments, and thats something I really appreciate.
Just a little expensive but they had what we needed
Musicare is one of my favorite shops in town. I bought my first professional trumpet there used and have been extremely satisfied. The staff are knowledgeable, kind, and accommodating. I lost a screw to the trigger on my trumpet and a new one was made free of charge while I waited and was prepared to pay. These guys get it when it comes to customers and musicians. Thank you for providing such a valuable quality service to the musical community in Eastern Idaho.
I cant say enough about this place! The owners are so friendly it makes me wish they were family. My daughter had her trombone cleaned and adjusted and 4 days later we brought it back because it got damaged at school. He remembered us and her instrument so he could tell precisely what was wrong with it.Very personable and knowledgeable.Go to MusiCare for all your musical needs.
Fantastic! Made my Yamaha FG700 sound like a million bucks! New strings, tuned action and a good cleaning for a very fair price... π
I have been taking my saxophones to Musicare for regulation and repair for many years. Their work is top notch. They are also always willing to take a quick look at my instruments and have even made a quick minor modification or two at no charge!
What a beautiful selection!! The owner and his son are music lovers and show extreme care for their instruments and yours as well if they fix!! Stop in to see what theyve got, TUBAS TOO!!
If John Mayer approves, then I approve!
This is my go to team whenever my guitars, my wifes violin, or ANY of my familys instruments, need servicing. They REALLY care about the work that they do, and their expertise shows in every inch of their work. Thank you for always taking care of me! Because of you I can relax and focus on practicing, but let me know if you figure out how to do that for me too!
I had my Gibson Mastertone Banjo originally set up in Nashville but was never happy with the string height. While passing through Idaho falls I stopped by Musicare and Jim Sevy did a super professional job setting it up correctly. If you want to fall in love with your instrument again, take it Jim. Awesome work!!!
True craftsmanship and friendly service set MusiCare apart. They have a wide selection of new and used instruments all in excellent condition. Repairs are fast and beautifully done.
What a fantastic store! I bought a used clarinet for my daughter, and with the insturment came a couple hours of time from helping give instructions on proper assembly, and help picking out the right mouth piece.
Jim is really knowledgeable and they have an extensive selection of instruments
Excellent work on my saxophone and clarinet. These folks are very skilled, knowledgeable and friendly. Idaho Falls is lucky to have this shop.
I take my guitars and amplifiers exclusively to Musicare. I also had an antique flute and antique violin restored to beautiful conditions. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, talented and friendly. I highly recommend them!
Quick turnaround knowledgeable friendly. Wasnt cheap but seemed to be a good value
Knowledgeable and friendly.
I am a raving fan of MusiCare. I left my new to me used Bundy II tenor saxophone with them in hopes that they could fix some serious dents. Now it looks fantastic! And it plays better now...Thanks so much!
This place is wonderful. They treat you very well and care about their work. I will continue to bring my instruments here when needed.
I have been going to MusiCare for over 20 years! Dave and Jim are the absolute best in professional repair, customer service, and just plain friendliness. They really care about you and they let you know it! I count them as not only great professional assets, but also as friends! Love you guys!Hally Loe - Worlds only country music flutist :)
Best repair shop in the region! They can fix, modify anything!
Musicare is a local honest company. Jacob did a chem clean trumpet and turned my bad situation into a great experience. I got a quote from another shop in town and the other guys were a few bucks lower but did not include the valve alignment so it was a much better value at musicare. I will come back.
Mike renovated my 51 year-old Leblanc Duke series tenor sax and then repaired an issue with the case that had caused the problems with my sax. I had taken it to two other shops who worked on it for a combined three weeks and got nowhere. Could not be happier with the work and the way they treated me. Only place to go in Eastern Idaho.
You cant beat the experience they have in repairs. Many one of a kind instruments.
These guys really know what they are doing when it comes to instrument repair
Awesome service. Very informative
Knowledgeable and prompt.
I have MusiCared before and Ill MusiCare again.
