This is fast becoming my favorite store! There is always something interesting waiting for me whenever I visit. This store has The most courteous staff.

Loooooooooove General Discount! The prices are outstanding; Staff and Security are always kind and helpful. The Crenshaw Imperial plaza store has a great selection in the inventory of store items. And I love the TV sales specials too!!!

Service is good. Staff are nice. Organized and clean store. Security guy at the front is always cool and nice. Some items are pricey sometimes but you will always find good deals and stuff.

Came here to get some a couple of sodas before visiting my brother who lives in South Bay which is 20 to 25 minutes south of General Discount.While getting the soda, I just happen to come across Lysol Spray & Lysol Wipes. Most of you know these items are hard to find and hard to come by, especially since we are in a pandemic. So seeing these two items, I decided to buy 1 each which is the limit that you can buy. When I got to the register to pay, it was $8.99 + tax for each item (soda was regular price). I could not believe it. I continued with the purchase because again, these items are hard to come by. Man, $20.00 for 2 items? That is gouging at its finest.What a rip off & taking advantage during the pandemic. Never again will I shop at General Discount

This is a very small store but clean. The workers r very friendly and helpful. Even security is friendly and helpful. I purchased a very nice black microwave 0.7 midsize for $35. Brand new!Some months later, about 6, I went back for another one. They were now $50. Still not too badly priced. Most of the items r really very low priced. Great for couples just starting out. This store will certainly help with items for every room. Great little store. Very easy returns policy with receipt.

The need to put the price on the merchandise so we now how much stuff cost instead of having to ask when we get to the register.

This store is another one of my favorite get what you need for a bargain store. I just love the store are usually look out for the paper when they have batteries for little of nothing two packs or packs depending on what size youre getting Triple AAA 9 volt C batteries D batteries I believe I got a whole bag full the last time they had a sale when they were $0.39 a piece. I just cleaned up I have a lot of children what different gadgets that require batteries. You have to visit to see for yourself theres too much in this store to mention that you can get at a low price.

Customer service can be better. They had notebooks stocked in the wrong place by fault of the store and would not sell to me the price they stocked the notebooks at. The manager sid nothing and blamed me even tried to move them as if I picked them from the wrong place.

Its a great store with inexpensive products & to top it all off the always seem to have a sale on most items...

Found what i was looking for . my first time going to the store

This was the first time I have been to General Discount and was pleasantly surprised by the great deals they have and will be going back in the near future.

People watch you like youre stealing and cashiers personality had attitude.

Its okay there is a lot of merchandise within the walls at this store unfortunately for me I could not find what I went in to look for. Not to mention its somewhat warm stuffy I dont know if it was because the air conditioner was not working but it made it a little uncomfortable for me to shop in such a large place and it was very warm in the inside.

You can always find good things at a great price.

If you like clothes but like to save its a good deal. I bought a nice Puma sports Jacket for $26 originally $80. They have different stuff too. Bought a 45 inch tv for $118 but its not a smart TV w netflix Hulu etc installed. The laundry detergent is expensive to small to be that high. I like it tho.

I really like this store. Great deals on most things. I bought a television from there but wanted to return it because it was damaged. The lady at customer service was very rude to me. She said I damaged it. The guy that bring the big items out was sympathetic and told me to call the factory. Store is wonderful but customer service is terrible.
