Staff was very helpful. Lots of interesting things at good prices. Its a resale store so you never know what you are going to find.

What a fun place to shop! I enjoy browsing through their organized and clean shelves and racks of clothing. I often find books to buy. A large assortment of jewelry, baby and kid stuff, housewares, furniture, sporting goods, tools, and more. Easy parking in the large parking lot. Closed on Sundays and Mondays. Friendly cashiers (who I believe are volunteers). A little out of the way at their new location, but less than five minutes from Menards.

My favorite thrift store i’ve ever been too. their jewelry was my favorite part. they had so much variety and i wanted to buy everything. not to mention, the clothes were so affordable and AMAZING. i never find clothes at thrift stores and i found lots at this one so 10/10 recommend. (if ur not looking for clothes and jewelry they also have a great shoe, book, record, movie, and appliance section as well!!)

Drop Inn Resale is a non profit thrift store selling everything from furniture to kitchen utensils to clothing to pencils. Their prices are astounding, you cant find necessities this cheap even at Goodwill. The atmosphere is very calm and peaceful, allowing the customer to unwind and enjoy everything more thoroughly. Just when I thought this store couldnt get any better, I was approached by the wonderful staff! The customer service is better than most thrift stores and makes the overall experience fantastic.

Really enjoyed my first experience here. Had driven by it many times and always wondered what it was like. Once inside, I was really surprised at how big it was! A very friendly gentleman greeted my mom and me when we walked in. You could spend a lot of time here. Lots to see! Really liked the layout of the store and loved their choice of music playing. A mix of oldies that made shopping pleasant, yet the music wasnt blaring. Something worth mentioning, too, is that they do have a restroom. I didnt need to use it but I saw where the restroom door was tucked around the corner by the living room furniture. Nice for people to know since the store is located a couple miles south of Iowa City. Prices were reasonable and I bought several items from clothing to housewares. We will definitely be back!

Stopped there today. Young girl putting things out for display was super nice. The lady who checked us out at the counter was rude. Two pair of gloves that were exact only different colors and priced differently. I asked if I could purchase them for the same (lower) price and her response was, “do you know where the proceeds go? I’m not even gonna ask the manager, she’ll say no.” She appeared to be trying to lay a guilt trip on me for asking a simple question. She made an excuse that one pair was newer than the other. (Come on, it’s donated stuff!). I won’t be going there ever again Or recommending to any friends to go there either.

I love Drop-Inn. I enjoy donating often. The store is a well-oiled machine and run so efficiently. The volunteers are wonderful and really enjoy what they do. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to donate and help both international and local ministries in the process.

Love to shop the high quality consignment items in this location. Frequent shopper incentive is a nice perk as well. My sister was visiting from Colorado and wanted to stop in and shop again. Mary Arnold

I just happened to run into this stores location. Ive heard of it before but never knew its location. Anyways. Walked in there because 1. Antiques and random items are my thing. 2. You find the coolest things at a reasonable price. I would have been a loyal customer and who knows how much I would have spent in the future but the owner? gave off a unwelcomed vibe. All I had in my pocket was $10 and she wouldnt budge from a $15 water damaged ship painting. its the tone she used like I was bugging her.

Wonderful store but very hit and miss. They have days when they have amazing stuff but days when its just blah. I love this store and I will come back again and again. Just wish they always hit instead of missed .

Nice thrift store in one edge of the city, which probably drives fewer visitors. I went on a rainy day and met the manager, provided her some feedback on price sticks, made a donation. Hope to visit again soon.

LOTS of stuff - but its organized and clean. LOTS of deals and bargains - but its great quality! Plus, its nonprofit and money goes back into the community.
