Awesome selection of grocery, novelty, noodles, and drinks. A little something for everyone. Workers were very nice and helpful finding a couple things and packed our stuff well. Definitely will be back.

I have been shopping here for years. The nice shopkeeper always greets you warmly and remembers you, even when you havent been there in several months. Wonderful selection of Korean food and products. She is always helpful with tips to improve cheaper ramen and make it healthier and more delicious. My pictures are 4 items that I regularly purchase. I suggest giving them a try. Advice for the shin ramyun: Add green onion and vegetable packet to water, bring to boil, add noodles and spice pouch, crack an egg in while still boiling and lightly stir. Serve before noodles go soggy.

A great local resource for asian cooking needs

My wife and I love this place. Everytime my wife has a VA appointment we go here and spend 60 plus dollars. When in stock they have some of the best red bean buns and other baked goods at front counter. Large selection of Ramen, sauces, candy. They do sell some produce, last time they had potatoes, sweet potatoes and onions. These do seem to change each time we are there. Lots of teas and drinks, a few odds and ins like rice cookers, chop sticks etc. The people that work there have always been kind and grateful, always have smiles. Some reviews state high priced, cant comment as this is the only Asian market we go to in Iowa City but we are okay with the prices we pay for the items we want. Some prices do seem high but its for stuff we have no interest in nor have any idea if the price is within reason. Never hurts to check them out you maybe surprised how much they have in a small store. Our only complaint would be aisle size, only one cart will fit so if others are ahead of you, you have no choice but to wait or go to next aisle (no way to pass) but this doesnt stop us from going

Wow! Awesome selection of ramen/rice/asian foods.Was really surprised this place is that good. Wasnt expecting much here - since its Iowa, but they have over 10 types of quality ramen, and plenty of rice too.Will be back.

It was smaller than I thought and not a variety of things to choose from. Prices seemed higher than other places.

Personally my favorite Asian market in Iowa City area. They dont have everything, but they do have a variety of stuff. The staff are incredibly friendly! Highly recommend!

Super impressed with this place a little gem in Iowa City. The woman who checked me out was so helpful although they were out of tamarind paste she pointed me in the right direction of of a sauce that goes in basically goes in all thai food. My pad thai rocked. Had a great time picking out various ramen and mochi to try with my family. Will definitely be back for hard to find ingredients in asian cooking.
