I have had John work on my Volvo and other cars for about 10 years. He is so generous, conscientious, knowledgeable, and feels like a good friend. He is affordable and willing to do things like come by my house to check something (we live close to him). He does not come in early to the office, but works late. His shop is not fancy by any means but he is my favorite mechanic these days.

I was referred to this place by another mechanic and wish I would have known about this place a long time ago. John is very friendly,professional, and does very good work. He is also one of the most affordable mechanics around town. I recommend this place to anyone who needs import work done.

I have been taking my Volvo cars to John for about 25 years. He knows these cars and many other foreign cars very well. I would not go anywhere else in Iowa City if you have a Volvo.
