Yotopia is the best froyo shop in the area! The options are endless and the flavors are outstanding. Bonus: This woman-owned business uses milk from and Iowa farm, aptly called Hawkeye Farms. The result is the best froyo around. I am grateful that they will slice a fresh banana when you want, they give out samples with a smile, and they have NUTELLA topping! Oh and Lucky Charms marshmallows. Be right back, need froyo.

The best place down town for a frozen treat. Be sure to check out the cookie dough at the topping bar, it comes from Molly’s. Tip: ask for a kiddie cup if you just want a small treat. They keep little yogurt cups behind the counter, great for portion control.

Still the best and most affordable frozen yogurt Ive ever had. I worked here when I was in college and I loved it. Everything is delicious and high quality, and the woman who handed us sample cup after sample cup was very kind and patient and made some nice small talk with us. Such a cute ambience too. Yotopia will always be in my heart and in my mind, especially when I visit similar places that are not nearly as amazing.

This is my first time here and very disappointed. The girls that work in here asked my husband to put his mask up higher(totally understandable!) and he complied right away. They then gave each other nasty looks and shook their head. They then continued to treat us rudely even though we were very nice back. They need to realize everyone isn’t purposefully not complying with masks and take it easy on people as we 100% do not mind wearing the masks. They had to have known we could see their nasty looks. Don’t want to be treated like that again, will not be back.

The management and staff are handling the Covid-19 situation extremely well. They are sanitizing the shop constantly and requiring masks for customers. They are providing masks to those needing them. Their product is outstanding and they partner with local farmers for their Froyo. Yotopia is the best Frozen Yogurt shop in the state without question.

Good variety of flavors and the topping selections are numerous. The $4 cup is a great deal! It is always nicely decorated inside with a cheerful atmosphere. The workers are always friendly. This is a wonderful place to treat yourself to something sweet and delicious!

This place is clean and friendly. The decorations are bright and inviting. They definitely get points for using local ingredients to support local farmers and having reusable bowls available, but I wish they had a wider selection of fro-yo flavors which is the reason that Im giving them 4 stars instead of 5.

Yotopia is great! Its a nice atmosphere and is a locally owned, woman owned business. It has a variety of options from cake batter to vegan and the toppings are fun and come from local places as well! If youre staying, make sure to grab a reusable cup for your yogurt!

A nice locally owned frozen yogurt shop. They have a good assortment of flavors and a large amount of toppings. If you can get it at Orange leaf, theyd have it there plus some more. Their one big advantage over Orange leaf is that they have more gluten free flavor options. Their flavors are top notch too. Their prices arent too high, but I wouldnt say its super cheap either. They do have a 4 dollar flat rate cup though. My one gripe, however, is that the floors tend to be dirty, especially after a weekend of drunk college students getting a late night snack. But it is still one of my favorite stops for a treat in Iowa City.

Adorable frozen yogurt place located in the heart of downtown Iowa City. Several flavors of frozen yogurt are always available plus there is a huge topping selection. They often have flavors of frozen yogurt you wont see at other places including my favorite taro root. All their yogurt is locally sourced. This locally owned place is a real gem. They have coloring sheets for kids too!

Theres always a ton of awesome creative flavors to try and the staff is always super attentive! The shop is clean and tidy even with so many toppings to choose from! Check this place out when its hot or when you need to fill your sweet tooth!

I love love love that they have two vegan choices now, not just one! AND! They have reusable cups!! Friendly service, as always. A fun place to go, even in winter--just keep on your winter coat and hat.

Yotopia can get pretty crowded, especially on hot summer days because everything about it is awesome. Yet there is rarely any line to wait in. Their frozen yogurt is delicious and they always have new rotating flavors. I also love that they incorporate products from other local businesses, like Mollys Cupcakes crumbles as a topping. The staff here is always pleasant and helpful. I have never had to ask to sample a flavor, because someone is always there offering​ me one. It seems like they always have new projects and products they are trying out, which is fun to see & taste. It is really hard to resist going in to get frozen yogurt EVERY time I am on the pedestrian mall.

Seriously the best FroYo I have ever had. It is creamy and rich plus all the benefits of yogurt. Many of the chains and other places in town have a more watered down texture. Yotopia has a wide variety of rotating flavors and their selection of toppings cant be beat. I especially like the Mollys Cupcakes (just down the road in Iowa City) cake with the fresh fruit.

Dont usually go here but were downtown so we stopped by. I always get vanilla. Didnt taste like vanilla when I tried it, nor did it taste that way to my wife. We informed the girl working the register who assured us that it was because we have switched to a local brand and that was the end of the conversation. I wil not be coming back.

This place has really great sorbet. I get that every time since Im not a huge fan of frozen yogurt. They have a nice selection of flavors.

Choose your favorite frozen yogurt flavor(s) and and add toppings to it to potentially make something amazing, and yet something potentially extremely bad. Granted I havent done that yet. Why not 5-stars you ask, the price. It just feels a bit high. Seating is limited inside. Please not there is no outdoor seating associated with this company.

This is why Im giving you only 2 stars .A while ago I went there one time with my sisters .Bought them frozen yogurt and we were having a great time until ...My little sister had to use the bathroom and asked nicely . This Iranian /Persian lady working there just threw the key at her and said ok bring it back !How rude ! Someone has issues !After that I havent gone there and if you do go there I hope you dont have to deal with rude idiots like her.

The amazing flavors & creamy texture of the froyo at Yotopia are honestly THE BEST I have ever tasted, and the quality of their product keeps me coming back. I personally worked with the owner & manager and they were absolutely FANTASTIC and genuinely cared about the success of our event.My goal = Create & fill 50 custom cups with a variety of YOTOPIA flavors for a baby shower in Minneapolis. We carefully packed the cups in a styrofoam cooler filled with dry ice, transported it 300 miles and 7 hours later, the froyo was frozen rock solid. Upon arrival, we transferred the cups into a freezer, served it 2 days later at the shower, and the texture and flavor was PERFECT! Guest raved about the 7 different choices of flavors, enjoyed choosing from a variety of toppings, and loved the unique idea!If you’re looking for something special for your event, or simply a cup of delicious froyo to brighten your day, YOTOPIA is the #1 place to go!!!
