Adamantine Spine Moving took great care in moving my antique piano from my parents basement to my home. I was worried about them moving it up a long flight of stairs, and It has a glass mirror attached that I hoped it wouldnt break. The 2 man crew were careful and quickly navigated the move. The crew were friendly and assured me they would take care of my piano. My husband met them at our house and says the move there was very quick and careful as well. No damage to the piano or either home they moved from and to. There was a delay in the scheduled move for a few hours, but the crew chief kept me informed and gave me a half an hour notice before their arrival. This allowed me to work until I needed to meet them for the move. We arrived at the same time, and I was able to return to work quickly after the move.

I was concerned about having a moving company in but I cant imagine having a better moving experience than what we had. All of these guys were professional, responsive, friendly and hard working. Given all the other stress associated with moving across the country this was the smoothest part of the whole experience. This company is the best!

I selected Adamantine Spine Moving (despite its peculiar name!) for my long distance move, because of the positive reviews. My move is now finished, and I can say that the entire process was actually enjoyable, when its generally one of the biggest stressors in life. From the first email contact with Brooke in sales, to the moving van pulling away with Rhett and Dillon, I had full confidence in the company. I even paid extra for a 2-day turnaround and yet my load weight came in costing less than the original estimate. If you are moving, you cannot go wrong with Adamantine Spine Moving company. For my move, I worked with a total of six people. Every one of them treated my items and me, with professionalism, kindness, and care. 10/10 recommend..!!

I had a great experience with Spine Moving! I booked them to help me pack and move out of my apartment and into a storage unit. Even though I was the last appointment of the day in the middle of peak moving season, all the guys on the crew were friendly, efficient, and did a great job making sure everything was just how I wanted it. There were a few very minor mishaps, as there always is when moving lots of things, and the crew lead, Jeff, handled it in a very honest and professional manner. I also had a great experience with Brooke, my move coordinator, who answered all my questions very promptly. The communication before and during the move was excellent. I highly recommend them!

Excellent team. It was easy and fast to schedule a walkthrough for moving estimate with proposal following quickly. They were very communicative and gave great timing updates. On move out/ins day, they were very fast and efficient, but took time to prepare the space with protective padding and floor mats. They took better care of my stuff than I would have/do. My stuff was handled with care while loading and unloading and the timelines were met according to the schedule. People in sales and the moving crew were very professional and friendly and easy to communicate with. During the move, one of my appliances got scratched. I brought this to the attention of the moving crew who reported the issue to the management. A couple of days after the move, I received a call from Eric, the owner to discuss the issue and he sent me a check based on the basic insurance that I had on my quote to reimburse for the damage. Overall, I am very much satisfied with the services provided. I highly recommend Adamantine Spine to anyone who is looking to move within Iowa or out of state.

Eric and his crew helped our family move across town right as the COVID-19 pandemic was gripping the nation. Throughout the move they kept a respectful distance and didnt remove their masks, which we really appreciated. They took us on a walk through the house to ask about any especially sensitive items and let me know what their plan was. They were careful and professional and great communicators. We had never used a professional moving company before and we were astonished at their pace! A job we thought would take a whole day was almost complete by lunchtime. We thought the price was really fair as well.One thing I always look for in a local business is integrity. Our moving crew had a member in training and when he made a mistake that resulted in some very minor damage, the crew came to me immediately to share the news. What I was even more impressed with was when Eric Jones, the owner, continually and proactively checked in with me for months as I dragged my feet in finding a repairman to fix the small dent in our floor– all so that he could be sure he compensated us for the minor damage. Thats uncommon. Well done.Book this crew and you wont be disappointed– they really offered the whole package.

The crew was unbelievably friendly. They took great care of all of our furniture, even going as far as trying to repair a long-broken tv base. When there was some trouble moving a boxspring up the stairs in one piece, instead of taking it apart, the crew came up with a creative solution to move it successfully.We were out of our apartment quickly and with no issue, and into our house before lunchtime. The price we paid was under the quote we were given, and the crew leader sat us down and walked us through each factor contributing to the cost.Big thanks to Amir, Mo, Eric and Tyler for making an otherwise lengthy and stressful process seem like a day at the beach. I cant tell you enough how awesome these guys are! For starters, they actually answered the phone when I called! I tried to contact 3 other moving companies and they either put me on hold immediately or had me leave a voicemail or text and got back hours later. Emily at Adamantine Spine picked up the phone and was informative and friendly! She gave great information and was really helpful.The movers, Quenton and Brendan were friendly, professional, and quick. They texted when they were on their way, introduced themselves, and were in company attire so I knew they were from the moving company, not just some Joe Schmoe. (I bring this up because Ive worked with other movers in the Iowa City area who literally showed up in flip flops in a van pouring smoke out of the windows.)Im not the most organized right now and they dealt with it in stride without even a blink. They laid floor pads down so that they wouldnt damage anything and didnt even mind that they might have to move some things around in storage to make it all fit.Its definitely worth the price of the move and I highly recommend them. I even told my Realtor about them and got some business cards to pass on to her, at her request.Heres the other thing that a lot of Iowa business should take note of: their customer service is incredible. I didnt get the monosyllabic answers to my questions that felt like I had to pry the info from them, which is so typical of other businesses in this area. They were forthcoming and let their excellent personalities show. It made this whole stressful moving process almost enjoyable ;)Were keeping our stuff in storage for a year while we travel and will probably not move back to Iowa. I 100% will call them to move our stuff to whichever state we decide to land in at that time. I already asked them about it and they said it was doable - they even try to keep the same movers on the job so that they are familiar with us and our stuff. We recently moved into a new home and hired Adamantine Spine to assist with the move. Excellent experience all around despite our dryer getting damaged in the process (which I will talk about). From the very beginning the communication around getting a quote and everyone we spoke with was excellent. No surprises and they worked with us to help keep the cost down. Day of the move they showed up on time and went right at it. Great care was taken and unfortunately accident happen and our dryer was damaged in the move. I contacted Adamantine Spine to report the damage and a case file was immediately put into play and they were very fast to work out a solution to have our dryer repaired. And it was the first time that had happened for them. I dont talk about this to discourage anyone from using them, quite the opposite. This was the smoothest move using a moving company we have ever had and would highly suggest them to anyone in need. Cant recommend enough, and if for some reason we have a lapse in judgement and decide to move again we will be using them in the future.

We were nowhere near ready for our move to the east coast the morning that Jim and the guys arrived to move us. I know that they were probably thinking what a mess when they entered my house but instead of making me feel like a failure or add stress to an already stressful time, they commented on the day and took their time to explain the process. Even when my son attempted to hand them an unwrapped monitor to put on the truck their response to my 12-year old was, Id feel more comfortable if that was wrapped so that it doesnt get broken and then they proceeded to help him figure out the best way to package the item. They patiently waited as I frantically :) added things to boxes and attempted to label stuff. They were the epitome of respect and kindness, not to mention that they really know how to pack a truck. They took the stress out of the move by their patience, quick smiles, and ready advice. They even allowed us to put things on the truck later when we realized that there was no way we could haul the stuff we left behind. Moving is stressful and Adamantine Movers seem to understand that and are patient, kind, professional, & understanding. We used Spine Moving to move my Dad’s baby grand piano from Marshalltown, Iowa to Bettendorf. Piano moving is not for the faint of heart. You really need to call in the pros when it’s time to move a grand. These guys move up to a dozen each week, all around the region. They handle deliveries for the major piano vendors, as well as symphonies, colleges, and schools. This is the first team.On moving day, the team keeps you informed of their location and ETA. On arrival, they get straight to it, breaking the piano down, prepping it for transport, and loading it on their truck. Great guys too.The office crew is friendly, well informed, and very flexible.Highly recommended.

This is easily the best moving company I have ever worked with. I hired them to move furniture, artwork and boxes from Iowa City to New Jersey. The quote, which started online that they followed up with a phone call, turned out to be very accurate and was the most competitive one I collected. The communication was clear and useful-- confirmation before the move inventory, review of logistics, then right before the delivery they let me know when to expect their people within narrow delivery windows. The movers packed and loaded with care and efficiency and a cheerful no-worries attitude, even taking on last minute extra work to help volunteers move bulky furniture we were donating (for a small extra charge) to the donation truck. We hired Adamantine Spine Moving for four hours to help us move the big stuff out of our 3 BR house. They sent a three-person crew out, and they did an incredible job. They worked very hard, and I dont even recall seeing them take any breaks. They got everything done that we wanted and more.There was one mishap when the corner of our washer crunched through some drywall, leaving a hole about 6x10. The crew leader immediately told me what happened and that they were going to arrange for a person to come fix it. The next day, we got a call arranging the repair. The day after that, that person stopped by and patched the hole so well that now I cant see where it was.If anything, this small accident left me with an even better impression of Adamantine Spine. Mistakes are going to happen, its what happens *after* the mistake that matters. Their follow-through was extraordinarily professional.I strongly recommend Adamantine Spine!

No walls, floors, or furniture was damaged in the move. The moving day was super hot and humid, but this did not seem to phase the team one bit. Two guys from ASM unloaded my moving truck into my new place. They were on time, professional, very careful, friendly, and helpful. I asked if I could dust off the bottoms of furniture as they unloaded them and they were happy to oblige. Making the arrangements, getting estimates, and all communication was a breeze. They texted me when the crew checked in and then one of the crew members called me to let me know exactly what time they’d be here. They used padded dollies, laid down protective rugs, and handled everything with care. I highly recommend!
