Last month called a plumber to resolve a pipe vibration issue. Installed a pressure valve under house($417). Still had vibration, so plumber cut back on water valve at meter. Plumber said problem was a bad meter. Vibration gone, but water pressure down in home. We tried to run sprinkler system, but wasnt working properly. Called Heads Up Irrigation and scheduled a service call. Tom was prompt and super courteous. He checked out the problem and said the problem was at the old pressure valve. That valve was buried underground next to water meter box. He deleted that valve and pressure back up in home and sprinkler working better than it ever did. Price we were charged, was very reasonable too.Obviously plumber didnt know what he was talking about, or he wouldve known about that buried valve. Highly recommend Heads Up Irrigation. Very satisfied customer....

Wonderful people to deal with. My experience was my yard sprinkler system had quit and my grass was turning brown. Hence I needed some immediate help. I called Heads Up and spoke with Kim and she said they were extremely busy, however she understood my situation and would call me back. She called me back within hours and said a technician would be at my home within 2 days. Technician came out and determined there was a leak under a concrete slab. This left me in total desperation as this would take some time to correct if in fact they could get to it. I call and spoke to Kim again and she said not to worry that Chris would come by and see what he could do. Less than a couple of hours Chris showed up and said he would run a temporary line that would take care of my problem until he could come back and bury it. He did this right away and within an hour my system was in total function. The entire team at Heads Up are extremely caring and take full ownership of your problem. I intentionally waited a while to write this review because I wanted to see if my grass really would come back to life after the install. Let me tell you how overjoyed I am with the results! Not to mention that the service was above target!! Chris came around the end of May to install my system and told me that he would be here @ 7. He and his crew were here @ 7 on the dot ready to work. I was a bit worried when they got done because I had some crunchy grass areas but with the constant watering they are already starting to look lush and green like the other areas of my yard. I had gotten 3 other quotes and Chris by far was the most affordable and he was so polite with answering all my crazy questions before the install. I had a sprinkler to go haywire a few weeks after and Chris was out here within 15 minutes (thankfully he was in my area) to fix it, no questions asked. If you are trying to decide whether or not to use them dont hesitate! You wont be sorry!

My sprinkler system was damaged by some utility workers and I had water flowing across my yard. Since the sprinkler system was installed prior to us moving in years ago, I had no idea where the shut-off was. So I had to turn the water off at the meter...and therefore also had no water for my house. After leaving a voicemail with a recommended competitor and not receiving a reply for a few hours (ultimately until the next day), I found this company on Google Maps and chose them because of their reviews. The person with whom I spoke informed me that there was a tech in the area and she’d see if and when he could stop by. The repairman stopped by on his way back to his office at the very end of the work day, and was able to get my system repaired within about 20 mins and my water turned back on. They were truly lifesavers. They didn’t have to go out of their way like that but they did. The pricing was reasonable too. I intend to contact them for some future work as well.

They routinely do work at my place for a really fair price. They are prompt and responsive and get right to it. I don’t use anyone else but this company and I never will.

Great, reliable company. Tom did a super job of locating and fixing two leaks. He had to dig up a couple of big holes and he filled them back in nicely. This system had not been used in about 3 years. I will use them again if I have issues with my irrigation.

Heads Up came out to rescue us from a project that was partially performed by another company dating back to March 2020. Chris came out to give us a fair quote and actually showed up to perform the work agreed upon. Heads Up added drip tubing to our irrigation system, laid landscape fabric and mulch and then placed 7 large boulders in the landscaping. I’d definitely recommend Heads Up for any irrigation or landscaping needs!! I’ll definitely be calling them back for future landscaping projects!!

Called several different irrigation company’s and either you don’t get a call back, or they don’t adhere to their appointment, or you wait days for a bid on the job.... HEADS UP/ CHRIS . Told him due to a pool installation I needed to reroute new lines to an existing sprinkler system. I had a major leak that prevented me from watering any part of my lawn. Chris comes out with a ball of fire ( talks, walks and works fast and all he wants to do is work as soon as he shows up ) pinpoints exactly where my major line issue was and re assured me he will install some new heads in the next few days but fixes my major issue immediately and On the spot, dug a 2 foot hole fix two lines gave me an invoice and handshake that he will be out in just the next couple of days all in about 10 minutes ... This guy is passionate about what he does and his work ethics are un matched .... CHRIS’S Responsiveness, attention to detail, passion, and price is what earned my trust. A+ A+ A+!Save yourself headache by getting bids after bids !! Chris and his guys did exceptional work in completing our backyard project after our in ground pool installation was completed. We had four irrigation zones installed, palm trees (Sabal, windmill and European fan ), crape myrtle, River rock, mulch and sod installed. Chris was very responsive to our requests, and the price was slightly less than other quotes. I definitely recommend using them for your irrigation and landscaping needs!

I got a new sprinkler system installed. A new sprinkler system was not on my list of priorities but after I got a quote I had to get it done because it was so affordable. The owner Chris is awesome the time from quote to job completion was about twelve days which was outstanding considering I live outside his normal operating area. Im very happy with my new system the workers did a great job and at times was very intense all areas of the yard are getting water and flourishing they showed me how to use the system panel and adjust the sprinkler heads and the foot print wasnt to bad. I would definitely use Heads Up Irrigation SC again and recommend them, I already did.

Called Chris to get a quote on installing an irrigation system and sodding yard after new construction on house. Quote was completed in couple days and work began within 2 weeks (Others i contacted were slow to quote and months from doing the work). Everything was completed in about a week and looked great. After the first rainfall, i noticed a ponding area on driveway that developed from new sod being a little high in that corner. I texted Chris a picture of the ponding on a Sunday and he quickly replied to my text and within two days, his guys came out and lowered the sod in that area and the problem was fixed. Had a small leak on a spigot supply line that i found (Yea, you guessed it, on a SUNDAY) and again Chris texted me right back and said he would send his guys over to fix it soon. Very rarely is a big job done absolutely perfect with no issues, the difference is Chris and his team stands by their work and will be responsive to any issues that may arise. Would recommend Heads up Irrigation to anyone looking for landscaping services.

Our residential irrigation system turned on after a power outage and wouldnt stop even in the off position. I called Chris w/Heads Up Irrigation late in the afternoon yesterday. He send Tom to inspect the system today and as of 11:30 am our system is working properly again and we couldnt be happier! This is the second time we have had the privilege of using Heads Up and this is the second time theyve impressed, well done guys! We wont hesitate to call again!

We moved here to SC from the north and didn’t realize the importance of having an irrigation system. We had already had our grass installed and wanted minimal damage. Heads up uses a technique that will cause less damage to your lawn.We also had a couple of sprinkler heads that started to malfunction a couple weeks later and they were prompt to fix them within a day or two. Called for an estimate. Chris was there the next morning as promised. The estimate was very reasonable. Waited a couple of weeks before calling to get on the schedule. Chris and his staff arrived promptly, they were courteous, professional and completed the job in a timely manner.

I have never had a sprinkler system before but I knew I wanted a quality installation using quality products. I got quotes from 4 different companies, and I’m of the mentality that you get what you pay for, so although my wife was happy, I was a little skeptical about how competitive Heads Up Irrigation was on price ($2000 less than my highest quote, $1500 less than second highest). It turns out the biggest cost saver making this possible was their installation method and time of installation. While most companies required 3 days, Chris said it would be done in a single day. I still wondered how that can be, but I was reassured that no compromises would be made. I got a Hunter Hydrawise WiFi controller, all Hunter components, PVC piping just like the other guys, and even an electronic flow sensor that works with my smart controller. Installation is now complete as promised and I couldn’t be happier. Quality parts, fast installation, amazing value, truly no compromise. I couldn’t recommend them more. No matter who you get a quote from, don’t pull the trigger until you give Heads Up Irrigation a chance to earn your business. You’ll be thankful you did.

We referred to Head Up Irrigation by a friend, and they were excellent! We replaced a drain field and the irrigation system was cut in multiple places. Heads up were prompt, professional and time efficient in the repair. It cost less than expected. They are first on my list to call for any future irrigation problem.

My wife and I bought a new home without irrigation. We looked for companies on line and got estimates and descriptions for installation. Two companies used trenching. Chris Davie’s company Heads Up Irrigation used a trenchless method for our lawn. It was actually less expensive and after a three hour installation was almost invisible. My neighbors were amazed to see a perfect lawn with absolutely no signs of the installation and lush and green in a month. Since then three of my neighbors have used Head’s Up. Chris was on site when his crew did the installation. There is not one area of lawn or landscaping that does not receive water. Everyone was professional and totally respectful to us and our property. Being new to using irrigation, whenever I had questions I called Heads Up and got an immediate call back that day. Tremendous company, owner and installation staff.

Always have had great service from Heads Up. Had a leak in my main line connected to the sprinklers and was losing quite a bit of water. Called Heads Up and they even came on Christmas Eve. Chris (owner) had given the crew the day off, so he came and did the repair himself! Awesome service as usual.

Chris came yesterday and fixed a broken pipe; he arrived in under 30 minutes after I left an urgent message. Heads-Up installed our system about 10 years ago. They did a GREAT job and have been wonderful dealing with occasional repairs and adjustments (e.g., where the school bus kept running over the sprinkler head on the corner of our lot) as well as taking care of the annual inspection for the City of Columbia. I strongly recommend them.

After having a terrible sprinkler system installed by Chapmans landscaping that did not cover 1/3 of our yard. We knew we needed to start over and put in a system that was big enough to cover every thing but we were concerned about having to tear up our whole yard. The best cant go wrong with this company

Chris and crew are personable and profession. They have twice repaired my 35 year old system, and were willing to install a drip irrigation system for apple trees in north carolina near Asheville for me. My only concern has been their prices seemingly too LOW for the services rendered. They work with me rather than talking me into more than I need or their system of irrigation.
