Wow! Finally an honest hard working mechanic! Rich was recommended to me by a friend and I am so glad I went to him. He is fair and gets the car back to you as quickly as possible. He gives you your vehicle back cleaned inside and out! Friendly honest service!

I was installing a new exhaust system in my car and unfortunately I broke one of the studs on the turbo flange. I went to 3 different exhaust shops in the area and they each said they didnt want to do the repair. Another shop agreed to do it, then gave me a quote that was so high that I decided to keep looking.A friend suggested I call Ram Automotive. They agreed to do it without hesitation. Not only did they do the job quickly, it was cheaper than I expected.When I picked the car up, it was washed and vacuumed and they ran a full engine diagnostic for free.That type of customer service is rare these days.I would highly recommend Ram Automotive for any type of automotive service.

I have been taking my cars to Ram since 2007. Rich Mularz is the owner and chief mechanic. He is honest, dependable and is an excellent mechanic. They never try and sell you work that isnt needed. As a side bonus they vacuum and wash your car for free. all his work comes with a warranty that he stands behind.

I very much appreciate this place; was referred here by another mechanic on the same road, while on a road trip, because the check engine light was flashing and the car was rumbling. It took about 20 minutes for them to find what was wrong and then a couple hours to fix the engine. All the while they let us stay in their shop, use their wifi and relax. Though, of course no one likes extending a road trip by a few hours Ram Automotive was great experience.

My car was up to some shenanigans per usual so I asked around for a good local shop as I had just moved to the area. Literally EVERYONE recommended this shop and I see why! Not only were the repairs quick but they didnt just fix what was relayed to them and call it a day, they investigated and got to the true root of the the problems which was a huge relief. Everyone I encountered were personable and downright great to chat with unlike the sterile environment at those corporate chain shops. They have tons of experience and it shows! Not only did they fix my hot mess of a car for a fair price they went the extra mile and washed and vacuumed it. I almost didnt recognize it! I refuse to bring my car anywhere else from now on. Youve got a regular customer for sure! Great job guys!

I have a 70 year old car and they knew all about it. Modern or vintage, they do it all. I went in for an oil change and an exhaust leak but they cleaned the whole car inside and out. It was like a brand new car when I went to receive it. I ended up finding another minor issue with the engine and John made sure to diagnose the issue and take care of it the very next day (Very few people even know what they are looking at when I pop the hood, myself included lol). They are so professional, he made sure to take the time to explain exactly what was done to the car and gave me many more general tips on it. I dont think I will ever be satisfied with another garage... the standard of service at Ram is too high. They really care not only about the car but also about the customer.

Queer friendly.I was recommended this shop by my stepfather who has classic cars he restores. Stepdad says they were good, not going to rip you off, etc.So far I like their service. The guy who answers the phone (his name escapes me) is very nice and takes your concerns seriously. Give that guy a raise!Sometimes the parking lot fills up because they get a lot of repairs. It would be wise to call up and see if there is space for your car before you head over.I have a beater, and frankly I treat my car not very good. I am car-illiterate and they do not take advantage of me. Actually they seem to work pretty quickly. Often times for a quick repair I only get charged for an hours work (100ish dollars). I might drop off the car and then get a call back a few hours later and it is ready to pick up.Overall very pleased.

Historically I have had very bad luck with mechanics for my cars. That all changed when I was referred to the guys at Ram Performance. Rich, John and the RAM techs did an amazing job on the exhaust, radiator, AC and relays in my high mileage Toyota minivan about 18 months ago. The van still runs like new. My wife was so impressed when we got it back from the shop and it was detailed!!! I opened the hood and the engine bay looked brand new—yes, these guys steam cleaned the engine!!! The whole experience exceeded my expectations from the detailed explanation of what needed to be done to the ingenuity & skill to fix what was already there instead of replacing with new parts, saving me thousands of dollars.John at RAM knew that I have always wanted an 82-84 Trans Am. These guys helped me find the perfect car. After I got a great deal, I immediately had it towed to RAM and they had everything fixed and cleaned up for me in no time. They gave me solid advice on insurance & registration for a classic car & tips for proper maintenance. The car is running like new and I am having a blast. I would never have been able to do it without the guys at RAM Performance.I would strongly recommend RAM Performance without hesitation for any auto repair job. They provide honest, knowledgeable automotive care at an affordable price right in the heart of Iselin, NJ.

If you want custom work. Rich is the man. Amazing knowledge and artist like custom work. I’ve used him a few times and the work is always done on time and very reasonable. Also they warranty their work which is great. Can’t go wrong with this place. I give it 10 stars.
