I love shopping at this location for its convenience and friendly staff. Danielle has a great sense of style and is always willing and eager to help me pick out the perfect pair of glasses/sunglasses. I continue to shop at this location based on the friendly and knowledgeable staff. I have bought over 6 pairs of glasses/sunglasses here and have always had a great experience. If youre in the market for new glasses I definitely recommend this location as you wont be disappointed!!!!

My mother and I had a great experience at LensCrafters. We were greeted by a very polite young lady, I believe her name was Bianca. My mother had an appointment and also needed to order contacts, everything was very easy going and Bianca was very helpful. I was also with my small child (whom was being a little disruptive) and Bianca was very understanding and even had a conversation with my daughter making her giggle and feel more calm. I really appreciate the service I was given and especially how Bianca went above and beyond to make the experience more enjoyable.

It has been over 5 years since I had an eye exam and purchased glasses. I have to say that this experience was absolutely top shelf. Honestly, I can not think of one thing that could be improved upon. I know there always is but everyone I felt with today was as good as I have ever seen. I had dealings with 5 different people between the exam rooms and the glasses displays. I was greeted upon arrival, told what was going to be happening, given my options and taken through the process efficiently and promptly. Everyone was concerned with keeping things sanitary but also professional and courteous. They worked with me as I have no insurance at this time. Everyone went out of there way to show me all of my options so that I could save the most money but get everything I needed. The doctor was absolutely beautiful as well as professional, thorough, knowledgeable, and kind. My only regret is not finding a way to see if she was single. Best experience possible for an eye exam and eyeglass purchase.

Say what you will, but this location treated me perfectly. I called around to every eye center I could, all of which were booked up with no walk ins able...(which I understand with the virus and all) until calling LC! They got me in at 4pm that day, took their times, and had me on my way with what I needed, fully satisfied (that’s what she said)! It was a 5 star visit for me, and thank you again to the staff!

Dr. Gilliam did a great job with our kids. He made them feel less nervous during the exam by telling jokes. Everyone in the office was very nice. When it came time to choose glasses for my son the staff at Lens Crafters were very helpful in breaking down our insurance policy. Additionally, we are grateful for the protection plan that is offered. It gives us a peace of mind in case the glasses get damaged in any way.

Bianca is the best of the best

This was my first eye exam with LensCrafters of Johnson City. I was extremely happy with my experience. Everyone was friendly and professional. I was greeted immediately upon arrival and only waited a couple of minutes before my eye exam, which was a few minutes early actually. The technician was very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Dr. Ledford gave a detailed examination and answered my questions thoroughly.

Its been 20 days and my glasses are not ready yet! And they wont be for at least another week because the lab only sent one lens to the store! I should have paid attention to the prior dismal reviews.

I have bought 2 sets of glasses from them, I have had good luck with these guys. The staff was fast and extremely nice to me, I would recommend them to anyone.

Its always super easy and quick to get contact lenses from this store, which is important for me because I need them when using the microscopes where I volunteer.

The staff messed up my trial contacts twice. The first time they ordered the wrong prescription for one eye ( I noticed this before I left the mall and told them) so they reordered the correct trials. When I called to set up a follow up appt due to the contacts being blurry Chelsea accused me of wearing my contacts for more than one day. Which I didnt because they gave me a months worth of trials the first time. She set me up a follow up appt but was not too friendly on the phone, she acted like it was my fault that the contacts were blurry. The second time (when I went in for the follow up on 3-7-20) they told me to put in a different type of contacts they even marked which ones were for the left and right eye and the doctor checked my eyes. They were running behind so they were trying to do the follow up as quickly as possible. They gave me a prescription and said if I have a problem to call. While I was looking at the prescription and the last pair of trials (last night) I noticed that they had marked the wrong contacts for each eye. Ive been wearing them wrong for 3 days. They marked the contact for my right eye as L and the contact for my left eye as R. When I called to tell them about it they did not seem to care. I will not go back to lenscrafters next year. They seem like they are trying to see as many patients as they can and dont care if you have any issue.

It was another great experience. I did have a small problem which was immediately corrected and at no cost to me. Will continue to go there very helpful and friendly staff.

Staffs are overall courteous. However they messed up my prescriptions. This is a repeated problem with me, they did the same with my kid’s glasses. Their answer is ‘mistake happens’.

My wife and I went to lenscrafter to purchase glasses for us both. I will say the lady that helped us was very good and nice. After we settled on a price and had our exams. We paid for everything especially with the additional insurance. At no time was there any mention of additional charges. 8 or 9 months later I scratched my lenses and called them. A boy answered and informed me I had to pay an additional charge up front before they would start my replacement.We have neither one been happy with our prescription from the start.Needless to say, unless there is some response from lenscrafter we will NOT be going back.Its not like it was a few years ago. Before this I liked there service very much, but not now

I ordered frames for my existing glasses that I purchased from LensCrafters 2 weeks ago and the order by phone took 48 minutes for Johnson City store to help me with that. Today I called checking on if they had arrived and took another 33 minutes to check on it for me. A little time consuming I would think!!!

I had been a satisfied customer for 8 years. That certainly came to a screeching halt at this store. My glasses were not ready on time, in fact, it took about a month. When I checked on them, it took 2 days and several calls to find out where they were. I was promised to be kept updated. When they finally arrived a month after they were ordered, the wrong lens was ordered. I refused the glasses, and was told a refund would be issued the next day. It has been 12 days and no refund. Stay far away from these people!

Ive been getting my glasses from the LensCrafters in the Johnson City Mall for many, many years now, and they have always had a wide selection of frames to choose from and, more importantly, excellent customer service.Last night I sat on my glasses by accident and the earpiece broke off. I took them to Lenscrafters this morning, and while they werent able to reattach the earpiece, they were able to replace it with a similar earpiece salvaged from a pair of donated frames they had in the back -- and it didnt cost me a dime.I highly recommend LensCrafters to anyone in need of glasses. Youll be treated well every time you come in, and youll never be charged for repairs to the frames.

I came to pick up contacts that were ordered that took a month to come in. I drove 45 minutes to the store during posted operating hours. Even though the staff were sitting at the desk, they said they were closed.... that is very disappointing since I have always had a great experience with them in the past.

Do not get your glasses from this store. Their eye exam doctor is ok, but the store is full of completely incompetent people that lack attention to detail. Ive bought several pairs of glasses from them in the past and my most recent experience was by far the worst. I ordered a set of frames a month ago, after two weeks of no calls emails or texts I called them to ask if they were ready. The lady said they had already been there a week and it was noted that I was called. I received no calls and there were no voicemails on my phone. I went into the store expecting to get the new glasses just in time for my trip. She pulled them out and immediately I saw the prescription was incorrect. They sent them back to be corrected. Its now been two more weeks. I was called and told they had now accidentally sent them to the wrong LensCrafters in California and they would over night them. Its been yet another week and I called to be told oh itll be a couple more days... This store is pathetic. God forbid anyone needs glasses in a timely manner to be able to function. I will never be going back to this store again. Now Ill probably be told my warranty is from the time of purchase and not time of delivery...

This store repeatedly lied to me about how long it would take for my glasses to come in. I was told when I ordered that to expect them in less than 7 days. After 7 days, I called in and was told that they were probably a day away. On day 9, I was told that someone misspoke because the real wait was typically 10-12 days. On day 12, I was told well they seem to be delayed but they confirmed that they had been shipped and might be in tomorrow. On day 14, I was told they hadnt left Oakley yet and that the minimum wait time was always 2 weeks....They will ship soon from Texas by GROUND. The only wait time I have now is that it was a minimum of 2 weeks....and its already been 2 weeks.

Holy crap this i the slowest place to go get glasses. This is my 3rd time here and everytime i have had to spend an hour or more here. Today i just stopped by to pick up and still spent 30 min and counting as i am still standing here waiting for one of the 3 people to help me or even ask what i am here for.

The employees Do Not do their jobs in calling customers when glasses are ready. The only thing they did promptly was take my money.

They were awful. Ordered new lenses, was told it would be a week ended up being a month before they came in. Then was scheduled to have them cut for my frames and they told me the wrong date that the cutter was there. They were rude and acted as if I was stupid. I will not be going back.

Were done with LensCrafters, every stinking time there is something wrong with our glasses.
