Ive been visiting Willy Worlds parts counter, quite a lot in the past year. I bought a used motorcycle, from a private owner, and needed help getting it tuned properly. Something I wasnt very familiar with. All three of the guys at the parts counter, went out of their way to help me diagnose the problem. Without their help, I wouldnt have been able to get my boy on the track. They recognize us when we come in, and are always very helpful. Something that a lot of other places are lacking. I highly recommend doing business we these guys. Id guess, weve been in a dozen times in the past year for parts, gear, and looking at new bikes. There hasnt been a single bad experience in all those visits. At this rate, Willy World has my business from here on out.Thank you Gentleman
Willy World is Just Excellent!” They are all power sports professionals…friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and efficient. The service dept was great and appropriately priced. I buy all my parts there. They are priced fairly and if something is not in stock they can get it in 2 to 3 days. My experience there was so different from my experiences with other dealers who are now out of business. When I am ready to upgrade, Ill definitely come back and buy from Willy World.
Although I am a mechanic and dont need to bring any machines to the service department they are always pleased to answer any questions I have and sell me valve shims for super cheap. Great group of guys, I highly recommend Willy Worlds service department. Also the parts department is equally great. These guys actually know what they are talking about and understand what you need without having to coach them threw their own parts fiches. This is mandatory to have parts guys with great mechanical backgrounds. Willy World also seems to always have the parts you need in stock when other dealerships do not, that is HUGE in my book. I have closer dealerships to where I live but I drive the extra 15min because I know the service here is top notch!
Went to Willy World Cycles and was impressed with their outstanding selection...big show room with all the makes and models. our local dealer went out of business and we needed to find a powers sports store. we drove 50 miles, but it was worth the ride. we met representatives of parts, sales, finance and service. they were all very nice people. they all seemed to care about the riding community and treated us just great, even though we did not make a purchase. we told them we wanted to check out their store and they were fine with that. no pressure, only friendly welcoming people. they invited us to their next open house which we are for sure going to attend. we will be back in soon
I have had many positive experiences at Willy World. The prices are competitive, the selection is great, the sales people are very helpful and they have all the parts and accessories you might need. Willy World is close to my home, which is even nicer. If my Honda needs service, Willy World is the only place for me. I Stop in just to visit with their staff as they are all professionals when it comes to riding. I strongly suggest you attend one of their open house events; you will have a nice lunch, walk away with a prize and see many items on sale...its always a good time
I own a 1994 Goldwing. I am at your store often. I have come in there with many questions and I have needed several parts (starter solenoid, seat bolts, voltage regulator, etc) and I have always been treated great. Even if the parts are no longer carried by Honda, I know that I will get an answer from Willy World people…of who does have them. Some of the time the staff will use aftermarket catalogs to find just what I need. All of the staff that I deal with have given me reasons to keep coming back. The personnel that have helped me are all the very best. Whatever you are doing at Willy World...please keep it up
Just a great all around dealership. They care about their customers and give great attention to detail with their friendly service. Cant find a better place than Willy World! You will pleased with every option that they have to offer. . .from bikes, atvs and scooters, along with all the parts and accessories. They were very patient and understanding to my needs from my first call to when I walked out the door with my new Suzuki. Awesome place
“Thanks Dennis. Professional, honest, sincere and all around fine person. I like his straight forward sales approach and he gives you the best deal the first time. He makes purchasing a motorcycle a pressure free, fun experience. This is my second motorcycle purchase from Dennis. Also, he doesnt sell junk. You can be assured that when you buy a used motorcycle from Dennis and he says it is a good piece, believe it!” If its not...he will make sure its fixed. Also:“Ramie did a great job delivering my Gold Wing. He took extra time to make sure my motorcycle was in great shape when I took delivery. He also explained all of the controls and functions of the bike. The best part was he was genuinely happy to do it. Thanks!”
Every visit to Willy World has been an enjoyable experience. I visited there several times before I made my decision. They had previously sold my son a dirt bike that he absolutely loves. My wife and I were looking for a cruiser and we decided on a V Star 1300 Tourer. What a great bike at a great price. My salesmen Dennis was very patient with us and explained several different options before we choose our Yamaha. All our visits were good, from the new purchase and all the way down to ordering accessories. We were very satisfied with the outstanding service that we received and have recommended Willy to all of our friends.
I owned a 1997 Honda Valkyrie for 15 years and Willy World was very helpful in all the service work I had done over the years. I eventually sold the Valkyrie and purchased a Honda Goldwing. It is by far the very best cruiser on the street! I accessorized it through Willy’s parts department and continue to service it with Clark the service manager. They continue to provide me with great prices, quality work and exceptional service. Over all, I would recommend Willy World to anyone interested purchasing a new unit, adding parts or accessories and of course servicing it as well. Great people…Great place!
I have now purchased 2 bikes at WillyWorld and both purchases have been awesome. Each time they treat me like family. Everyone knows me by name. It feels good to have a shop where everyone is on the same page. I will definitely be back soon. Dennis in finance is a hoot!
Been a customer for over 15 years. Ive bought motorcycles, parts, accessories, and have had service performed as well. Mike, Dennis, and Clark are the best. Ive always been treated well and tell everyone I know about this dealership. They have a great selection, competitive pricing, and friendly atmosphere. I wont hesitate to purchase another motorcycle from Willy World and highly recommend this 5 star dealership.
Great place to do business with! They are honest and professional. Huge inventory and prices were great. Thank you for your great service!Mike M
Hands down best dealership in the Midwest. Went there to buy my second motorcycle and once again had a fantastic experience. they had so many bikes in stock to choose from and my salesmen craig was amazing and Dennis made everything hassle free and easy. Brandon in the parts department was very nice and very knowledgeable and took the time to make sure i had a properly fitted helmet and showed me all the great accessories i could get for my new bike. Then Clark in service went over the bike with me and answered all my questions. overall very great experience and i recommend willy world to anyone who is looking for a new bike or parts or service. Great job guys! Thanks again!
I use Willy World Cycles for all my service needs. Whether it be accessory add ons, engine repairs, factory recalls or simple oil/tire changes…Clark and his techs are top notch and always fix me up the very first time. They schedule me in, advise me how long each job will take and meet the deadline promised. Thanks Clark for always taking care of my bike and keeping me on the road enjoying the riding season. See you soon…Mark D
I recently got a flat tire on I-80. I called them up and without hesitation they came and picked me and my bike up. Everyone I met was super friendly. They changed out the tube quickly and I was back on the rode. If I lived anywhere near the shop I would take my bike there for service anytime. Thanks guys, true heros!!
Service Dept. at Willy World is excellent with the manager Clark. He really know his stuff about these bikes. Sales is always helpful, especially Dennis, who has been there since I’ve been going there for over 17 years now. And the Parts Dept. always calls when my parts come in and they are helpful when I order them too.
I was very happy that they all helped my look around and shop for the motorcycle I actually wanted. Thanks Clark for all your help! Amazing Guest Services! Definitely will be back!
Willy has a great knowledge of the motorcycle industry and of parts and accessories. They also have a great selection to choose from. Ive been a happy customer of theirs for the last few years.
The parts people at Willy Cycles are very knowledgeable and treat me like a special customer every time I am in the store. They know where to find what I am looking for and they give me good advice on how to install many of the parts that I purchase. See Bobby D in parts for all your parts and accessory needs
Thought I reviewed this before but I guess I forgot:I wouldnt trust this shop with my Specialized pedal bike. The day I picked up my Ninja from getting tires put on, I noticed the forks were loose, as if they hand-tightened the bolts.A few days later, I was riding on the highway and noticed the handle bars were wobbling. I got off the highway and my tire was flat due to the valve stem breaking.I called and asked them to fix the valve stem and asked how it could have broken so fast. This is when they told me that they didnt replace the valve stems because they are expensive ($8) and didnt think I would want to pay. They charged me full price for a new tire+labor and valve stems. When I picked up the bike, I noticed the tank was really greasy. While I was riding home, I noticed the tire was more slippery than normal for a new tire and the bike started smoking. There was oil all over my tire. This is not a car. Loose forks and flat or oily tires cause serious injury, not just a minor accident. In the future, I will be a little more picky about who works on my bike.
When I first walked into WWC I was extremely excited to see how many bikes they had on hand! I was greeted by Craig within minutes of walking in, and ended up buying a black Suzuki 1000 (B.A.!!) at a really good price compared to what Id seen. Dennis helped me out in their finance department and I was out the door with my bike in no time. Im psyched these guys also have a shop in the back for parts and service! I highly recommend Willy World Cycles to anyone serious about a buying a bike at a good price, without the BS!!
Great experience at willy world. My girlfriend and I were helped promptly by Justin. We went in to buy our first bike which was an 02 shadow. We got a great deal and an awesome bike! They have a good reputation for a REASON!
This is a fantastic dealership. We ride a Honda ST1300 and while it is a bit farther for me to get to them from the closest Honda dealer it is so worth it. Clark in the service department has an impressive knowledge of motorcycles. I have recently had a different dealership leave me in the cold on tire problem. When I presented a much more challenging intermittent issue to Clark he stated rattling off a list of things it could be. Not only did he have an idea where to start he insured Honda made the problem right at no cost.I also had them adjust my headlights on a different appointment. Not only did they adjust the headlights for me they took the time to actually look the entire bike over and noticed that there was a bit to much play in the throttle. When they returned the bike to me they told me about and had adjusted it at no cost. Was impressed me was not so much that they did not charge me. What impressed me was that they took the time to inspect my bike for proper function. Again there are dealerships that dont really care. You take your bike in for X and all they do is X. It is refreshing that they go the extra mile to insure your bike is in great working order.I have walked the sales floor and love the fact that a tons of bikes to choose from. Every time I am there somebody always greats me and understands that I am only in for service and not in the market for a new bike. They will still chat with you and are interested in what I ride and how I ride and talk about places they have been on bike. It really is a great atmosphere and everyone I have encountered seems to love bikes. This will be the only place I go to for parts and service going forward.
I just purchased my third motorcycle from here. The entire team Jacob, Mike & Dennis were extremely helpful and made the experience easy and painless. I will definitely buy from them again in a couple of years.
Almost never have anything in stock that youre looking for. Absolutely huge markup on everything they carry in there. Better off ordering online and waiting. Going to be the same amount of time for double the price. Also dont have them adjust your carbs. They blew it on my bike. Had to pay somebody else in the additional $600 to do it again.
Quick Service Dept...Bought my Suzuki C50T in Wisconsin, but called WWC, since they are the closest dealer to my house, to schedule its initial service (600 miles). I was told there is a 2-3 day turnaround, since they are so busy being the beginning of the season. No problem, since the weather is still a bit chilly. Dropped off the bike when they opened. Got a call 7 hours later...it was done. Nothing to complain about there.
Terrible dealership high prices shop around u will find lower. Service department charges u for work that has never been done. This place is a joke
Nicest people & great customer service! They always find the simple solution to help out whether its for service or a new ride. Always make us feel like a V.I.P at this place!
Ive been riding for many years and wish I could say Ive been a Willy World customer since the beginning, but only started buying from them a year ago. I recently purchased some parts for my bike and just want to say thanks to Dennis and Mike V. Damn good service. Your dealership continues to impress me with your great prices and community BBQs. Anyone who serves up fair and honest prices, along with good food is okay in my book. Keep giving back to the community and doing great, timely work on my bikes and Ill continue to refer all of my friends and family!
I needed to add some protective gear for motocross riding and came upon Willy World in Joliet. I stopped in and asked the salesperson if they carried this certain product and they responded yes but only had one left in stock. I tried on the item (size medium) and the salesperson said this was the correct size for me. Having never worn this item, I questioned the way it laid on my chest, asking if he was sure this was correct and asking for information about the product. You would think that a SALESPERSON would be informed on the products they are selling and would be able to inform you of the good points and the bad, compare items, etc. I received no help in learning about the product, they only cared about the sale. I purchased the product thinking this salesperson knew at least about the size fitting correctly. I went home and decided to look up the manufacturers website and found all I needed to know about the item, including a printable measuring tape (their specifications) to determine size. Turned out the salesman didnt even know that - I actually require a large in this item. Naturally I returned the item and found it for $100 cheaper online. Its very disappointing when a computer can provide better customer service than a person. After my own experience and reading other reviews, its clear Willy World only cares about the sale - not customer satisfaction.
Jake and Clark did a great job delivering my Goldwing at Willy World Cycles. They took extra time to make sure my motorcycle was in great shape when I took delivery. They also explained all of the controls, functions, features and benefits of a brand new Goldwing. The best part about it was that they all seemed genuinely happy to do it. Cant beat service like that... Thanks
Pushy sales team and not very helpful. The services department is more concerned with getting your bike fixed in a timely manner. Good selection of used bike and the prices are pretty good.
The Service Dept is AWESOME! Had a breakdown while on the road from Chicago to Dallas. They fast ordered the part and put my moto at the front of the line to get us back on the road. A HUGE THANK YOU!
I recently purchased a Yamaha D Star from the fine folks at Willy World. Not only is it a beautiful facility but I also received the best price by far after shopping around for weeks. Everyone I dealt with was very professional, knowledgable and courteous. The VMan is the best. Quite a character. I cant wait to visit again for my accessories and service needs. Run dont walk to Willy World for an all around great experience!
Everyone please be aware of this place. Im not going to stop anyone from purchasing anything but be aware that they will charge you with ridiculous frees. I wanted to purchase a bike for $5500 but out the door it came out $7900 that is a difference of $2400 in taxes and fees. To register a bike in Illinois its about $130 and around $450 for taxes. So $2000 in fees. Be aware and do shop around not a good dealer to deal with.
I’ve been to Willy world many times and they r great and get you what u need. The only thing that I have a problem with is the manager. He is extremely rude to the people who work there and customers. I’ve watched him many times yell at people who work there and people who are asking questions about things. Great place to be but try to avoid the manager, extremely rude guy.
This was my first visit to Willy World. i was in contact with dennis over the phone. he had my contract ready to go when i got there and got me financed at a great rate. very prompt! the sales people were very friendly and the parts department took care of all the parts that i ordered for my gsxr-1300. my experience was awesome. I was in and out of the dealership in a little over an hour….riding off into the sunset. great job to the entire staff. thank you, enjoy the summer and be safe
Think twice before taking the time out of your day to visit this place. This place is full of a bunch of clowns 🤡...They put on a fake sense of customer service, but in reality, customer service is terrible. Stopped in to make a deal, the place was busy time tickedthe place was getting close to closing. Promised a call back on a sales inquiry, never recied it. Called them to see what the deal was. After calling in a few times and getting an answer after many attempts. Dennis, the finance guy, said he would reach back out- once again didnt hear anything from this place. The only thing they stressed while in the store was to give them a good review online.... Total waste of time visiting this store. Took business else where and got my bike with people who were customer driven and willing to help get me on the road. I am so glad I didnt give these people a single penny. The only cost was wasting my time.. I would not recommend this place to anyone, hopefully you dont get the same experience I had if you do make the mistake and shop at their store.
First time motorcycle buyer. Mitch helped me greatly and I walked in and walked out same day with my first motorcycle. Ive been a happy owner since. Looking forward to upgrading to a faster bike in a year or so.
I’m a first time buyer, and I’m so happy I chose Wily World Cycles. I purchased a new Honda PCX 150 scooter and could not be happier. What a great unit from Honda and what a great dealership to buy from. Everyone…and I mean everyone, was really friendly and helpful. They were very patient with me as a first time buyer and I appreciated that. I even got to meet the owner Mike V. What a class act he was. He was incredibly cheerful, welcoming, and all the staff was patient with me which I respect very much so as a first time buyer. I highly recommend Willy World Cycles. They have a very large inventory and they run a first class operation. I purchased a helmet and some riding gear too. I look forward to attending their next open house event!nicki b
Not the greatest dealership by far but with motorcycle dealers going out of business faster than you can find a good one its bad news for the consumer. Less dealers less competition. I started using LMS in Ottawa, Ill. They are big time old school but the staff is friendly and service is good, They only work on models less than 20 years old and they only have one tech so if your in a hurry forget about, but he is good. Its really a shame but the internet has killed your local dealer
I bought a Suzuki Sv650s from Willy World. Just dug up a copy of a bike I bought there when I was 19. God did they rip me off and take advantage of me. Price was $2,600 for a used bike. Some how it ended up being $4K out the door. Wish I knew better. They are all just snakes in the grass. Just stay out of there.
Just serviced my bike at Willy World Cycles of Joliet. I am glad they are still around with their excellent factory trained & certified technicians. Even though Willy World is a little ride out of my way, dealing with real mechanics is much better than going to a local garage. Thx Willy for always fixing my bike, storing it during the winter & prepping if for spring. Now if the weather would just cooperate, Id be one very happy camper.
Just left Willy World in Joliet. Once again they gave me a great deal on my Yamaha STAR motorcycle…and not just on my bike but on all the accessories that I added on. Jestin was my sales guy and Craig in parts really knew his stuff when it came to accessorizing my cruiser. I got a low interest rate from the finance manager Dennis who is quite the character. Their service manager Clark scheduled the install of all my work. Willy World has always done me and my family right. We have been buying from them for a very long time because they always treat us great. They provide excellent service, they have the best prices and they have knowledgeable and caring employees who are always willing to go out of their way to assist you. Thanks Willy,JG
Great place for your motorcycle needs. Great staff. Owner always comes out to chat, great place
No test rides??? I have never had an issue with Willy World when it comes to their motorcycle gear or parts and always thought of them first for my riding needs. I lost pretty much all interest in this place though, when I went in to check out a motorcycle I was interested in purchasing. The only downfall: WILLY WORLD WONT LET YOU TEST RIDE THEIR BIKES BEFORE PURCHASE. Makes absolutely no sense and the reasoning was they dont have the insurance to allow it. Why do you sell motorcycles (New or Used) if you cant allow your customers to try the vehicles first? Disappointed to say the least as Im not going to buy a bike I cant test out first.
I live about 70 miles away from Willy World, but I always try to attend all their special events. The selection of accessories is excellent and the staff is always knowledgeable and helpful. There just arent enough really good metric shops out there, but Willy World is definitely an exception. At the September event, I talked to the model, ate a hot dog, bought a helmet at a super-discounted price and had chrome levers installed on my 2005 Goldwing Motor Trike.
Had a great experience buying a bike from these guys. Sales team was very nice and so was the owner.
First off, I am not a fan of ever dealing with any type of dealership. But the customer service was great, they asked if I needed any help and didnt get in my face. Also were very upfront with my trade, but they knew I would come back so they held a really good deal on the bike I purchased from them.In the end I purchased a bike from a local dealership that I was able to see, touch and have setup for pretty much the same price as what I had found on ebay. All the people with bad reviews on purchasing new bikes from them I feel probably didnt do their homework and search the internet for the average price of the bike.
We just bought our 3rd toy from willy world. Great price, great service, great experience. We saved over $1000 dollars and were in and out in less than an hour.
Friendly staff. Good selection. Horrible buying experience from management. If you enjoy endless haggling and getting a worse deal than elsewhere, with an added dose of sleazines this is a place for you.
“I had a great experience, the service was helpful and informative. I didnt feel pressured into making a purchase. Overall it exceeded my expectations. Thank you.”
Its unfortunate another dealer has closed in our area after decades of serving the motorcycle community. If anyone is looking for a new local shop in the area I would recommend GenerationMX in Plainfield. Good honest people, that know motorcycles.
Willy world cycles is the best! I cant find another dealer in northern Illinois that has their selection of units, their large parts/accessory department and factory trained/certified techs to work on motorcycles. I highly recommend their team of power sports professionals when buying, upgrading or servicing your motorcycle. They always know how to fix and care for my Goldwing. I have used there parts department to accessorize my Goldwing from the day I purchased it. Thanks for being there for all of us riders. Ask for Joe, Dennis or Chris...they can answer ALL of your questions. See you soon.Walter
Selection and price were ok . but their no-test-ride policy made me walk. Sales guy was super nice, just didnt have what I was looking for.
Ive bought a couple bikes now (one for my lady and me) from Willy World and couldnt be any happier. Its the little things that matter the most when choosing where to buy a product and Willy World knows how to do the little things right. They are knowledgeable, friendly, prompt, personable and fair. I shopped around quite a bit before purchasing my first bike and once I stumbled into Willy World I was sold. Their customer service department is excellent and Ive gotten some great deals from their parts department. Not only did I get some of the best prices around on the two bikes I purchased, but I also got an experience. Willy World continues to impress me and I even find myself heading in to say hi when Im not even in need of anything. Id like to personally thank Ryan, Dennis and Mike V! You guys have made my wifes and my riding experience unforgettable.
I was offered the best price in town on a 2015 yamaha r3 last week by Jestin (very helpful/friendly ). Jake was also helpful. Overall great customer service and selection of bikes. I will be going back to this dealership to service my bike when needed. When its its time to upgrade I will be back! Thanks
Sales team (Jestin) was helpful and respectful when I purchased my DRZ400SM. Willy World priced matched another dealer for me. Great service, thank you.
“Just had my Goldwing in for a follow-up to my purchase. Craig/Service and Dennis Ragle (once again) were totally customer focused and met all my needs and questions. Service was on time as scheduled and within one hour I was on my way! Willy World Cycles is the best place for all your biking needs. Its well worth my couple of hours drive!”Recently visited the parts counter for accessories. Once again, I was treated great, didnt feel rushed and counterman was very courteous. (Im still sold on Willy World Cycles vs. my experiences in central Illinois!)
Excellence place to buy any bike and accessories, also have an excellent customer service all the time.
Willy helped me quickly and I was back out riding in minutes. Thanks to Bobby D in service.
“Best selection, best price, and best service from any dealer in Illinois. Thanks Willy World you have me for life. ”
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. This is not a superstore, but they still have a good array of bikes.
Ive went in there several times trying to find a used Goldwing. 5 times just walking around waiting for assistance. 5 time none offered. What are the chances because Im a black man. Going to buy a Harley
Good place to buy motorcycle equipment and parts also service available very prices
Great selection and great prices. They are very willing to work with you.
Ve attended several of Willy Worlds open house events and eaten way too much of their food and drink. At the last go-around I won a T-shirt which I will proudly wear at their next open house so everyone thinks I work there J. Maybe Ill even sell a bike! Ive had service work done there too (I own a 2009 Gold Wing and a Burgman 650 scooter) and will certainly be back because Clark always gives me a fair estimate and then fixes my bike right, the very first time. Ive also purchased parts and accessories from Willy and everyone I deal with there has been friendly, courteous, polite and professional. As a former business executive I think Willy World does an extraordinary job of marketing too. I think Connie does their marketing. Its all about multiple touches in a variety of ways & formats and Willy really gets it! Now if Honda would just drop the price on the 2017 GoldWing, I might get a new one
I have bought multiple units from Willy World. I first bought a YFZ450 in 2006, what a great experience. They walked me through everything and it was a very pleasant experience. Most people get ripped off their first time buying something but they were fair from start to finish. I then bought a cbr1000 in 2009. What a great bike and the deal the second time around was even better. they remembered me and I was treated as one of the family. I know have just bought a crf50 for my son, I couldnt be happier again. The parts and service department are also true professionals and I have grown to call them all my friends. If you are looking for a long term relationship and a dealership for life.....THIS IS IT! I will never buy anywhere else ever again! Thanks Willy World, for everything.
Massive selection of new and used bikes. They have all the big 4 plus a huge selection of riding gear and parts.
Bought my first motorcycle from Willy World and the reason I didnt give 1 star is because I got a bike that I wanted. Sales person didnt even attempt to talk to his boss to lower the price on the bike a SMALL $50 dollars for heavens sake(yes, after they brought it down a few hundred, but seriously)! He just told us straight no. We were not able to test ride the bike in the parking lot because of insurance issues, after his test ride around the parking lot, that is when we tried to get the price down another 50 bucks and he said no to us, brought the bike in and that was the last we saw of him. Another salesmen urged us to stay and he found it ridiculous the price couldnt be brought down a small $50 dollars. We went back in and decided to pay the small 50 bucks more for the bike anyway. A little about the bike, it was a used model, 1600 miles. It ONLY had 1 key, no owners manual or service manual. We were promised an owners manual if the previous owner didnt bring it in. Needless to say, I ended up making a second trip, paying for a 2nd key blank, had to have it made myself, and I STILL dont have an owners manual. As far as Dennis goes, I did like his attitude, very straight forward and cared about the customer. However, after the sale, I did call him and I got the run around saying the owner was going to be in to drop off those items. The previous owner never dropped off the items. I guess you have to get the right salesman at this place looking at the other reviews. I have been down to Leipolds in Ottawa, IL and I WOULD recommend them over this place. Sales and staff care much more about you and owner is very flexible and cares about the customer. Dad got some work done to his bike down there and we could not be happier with the service, sales departments or employees there. Oh, I forgot to mention the couple hundred dollars Prep cost that Willy World charged me to have 2 stickers removed and a little more radiator fluid added. Sorry, also I couldnt finance the bike because it was one year too old... 2007. Bought it in 14...Nice.
Willy has great customer service (thx Mike G), a great selection of bikes and ATVs (their pricing is always fair) and a big selection of parts and accessories. Why go anywhere else!
Just picked up a new King Quad 750 from Willy World Cycles in Joliet. they had the best selection of ATVs and gave me a great price. They also gave me a deal on my plow and winch. Special thanks to Dennis who was easy to work with and Joe in parts who set me up with my plow. These guys are really good at what they do. I recommend them for any motorcycle or ATV needs. thx Willy
For the most part great place great employees 1 issue with service.
I am always taken care of, in a timely manor and with respect. The only dealer that has been so good to me. Thanks...
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. i was quoted 6799 on a bike which was on sale for 5299. When i drove a 100 miles to get to this place quote changed to 7200. Thats the price without the bike being on sale. Sale prices are their way to get you so BE VERY AWARE AND DONT GET SUCKERED INTO THEIR FAKE SALE PRICES. This place is a waste of time.
Nice place, high prices, willing to help me out.
When i walked into the story no customers where there and it was only the employees same with when i left 20 minutes later. I didnt get a hi can i help you or anything. I came in to buy a 2015 zx10r and stood over the bike for at least 15 to 20 minutes and still nobody came to my service i guess i will go buy a brand new 2015 zx10r somewhere else...
Best dealer around!!! Willy World Cycles in Joliet just gave me an awesome deal on my new Yamaha STAR motorcycle. I am a new rider and have been researching Yamahas on the web all winter. I checked out a dealer in Lockport and one in Countryside, but neither one could beat the deal that Willy World gave me. I also bought some riding gear and they gave me a coupon for my first oil change. Cant beat their pricing, their service or their discounts. Thanks to my salesman Jestin, my parts guy Brandon and the service manager Clark. All very Knowledgeable motorcycle guys that treated me with respect.Johnny B
The maintenance department at Willy world has horrendous customer service, and also charged me for service which was never performed.I took my dirt bike to Willy world in mid April, because it was running poorly (hard starting and loss of power). I asked Clark (the service manager) if he thought it could be a dirty carburetor and he said its possible. He told me it would take 5 days to get it done. The first time I finally got a call from Willy world was 17 days later, and that was only after I wrote an email the day before asking why its taking so long and why I hadnt received any updates. In the call, Clark explained that the bike needed more work than just a carb cleaning. I asked how much would it cost and how long it would take. Clark told me Willy world really didnt have time during the summer and I should have it done in winter.I went to pick up my bike Clark said I owe $230 for cleaning the carb. I thought that was strange, because he had never mentioned the work was ever done until then. So I paid the money and I ended up taking my bike to a different place which said they could do the work.I stopped in at the shop of the new place after they had my engine apart. The owner of the shop said to me that the carburetor was filthy and needed a good cleaning. After I told him it was just cleaned two months ago, he said theres no way it could have been cleaned and have it in the condition it was in. He showed me the parts and explained to me that it would take years for that to happen.I called Willy world and spoke with a manager by the name of Connie. I explained to her the situation and asked if I could get a refund, because I didnt believe the work was ever done. After speaking to Clark, she assured my that the carb was cleaned and the build up happened in the two months since it was done and I couldnt have a refund. She must have sensed I was unhappy, so she told me the owner of Willy world was on vacation for the week, but when he got back she would have him call me on Monday. Its Wednesday and I have still heard nothing. This is a horrible way to run a businesUpdate:I finally got a call from Mike V. I believe hes the owner of wily word. He called, not to apologize for my experience, but to ask me to remove my review. He told me he was 100% positive the work was done and it was done properly because its his shop and he just knows it. He never saw my bike or my carburetor, but he just knows it. He then told me that the owner of the other shop didnt know what he was talking about and was mistaken. I have personally seen the inside of the carb and had explained to me by an expert how it could not have been cleaned property. Mike V. This is an awful way to treat customers and to run a business.business and I would recommend to stay far away from this place.
I had a parts person named Craig C. I was looking for basic maintenance parts for my motorcycle like oil, filter and oil drain plug seal. It took about 20 mins to get parts ready and they were wrong. The oil drain seal was wrong and he said he couldnt find the correct one. Also he was trying to give me honda oil for my Yamaha. Why go here for wrong, overpriced parts when you can go to richs yamaha. I have had multiple bad experiences with the sales side here but since its close to where I live I keep going back. The whole time I was there an employee behind the counter kept saying how he wants a raise. Get some people in there that know what they are doing and give them a raise. Im done with this place.
I was shopping for a Honda CBR 1000. After reading all the reviews online of the few dealers that are left selling Honda, I came across Willy World Cycles in Joliet. I shopped at 4 different Honda dealers before I made my purchase. All of the dealers had a similar price for the bike and they all had the same fees and taxes. What made me buy from Willy World was the people. They all treated me great. No high pressure, no one was cocky, no one pre judged me. My salesman Jestin was really down to earth and treated me like a fellow rider and Dennis in Finance got me a great interest rate. I bought a helmet and a jacket from Brandon in parts and he helped me pick out the latest and coolest ones. When it came to service, the Service Manager Clark was very serious about explaining everything to me with regard to my bike. I had a 600 ccbike before this one, so he wanted me to know all there was about the CBR 1000. Willy is a 37 year old store...and you could really tell it is a great place to work by the attitude of some employees that have been working there a very long time. Thank you Willy for everything you did for me. I am going to take advantage of your referral program.JP
This review is for work done in early fall of 2015:I brought my 1978 750 Super Sport in to Willy World in July to have the brake lines replace and calipers cleaned and rebuilt as well as a rear master cylinder rebuild. Other things needed were fork seal replacement, a 4 carb rebuild and cleaning, a new speedo drive gear and ignition switch replacement. I was bringing the bike back from 25 years of storage in my garage. The bike is pretty mint overall and I did the reatoration work myself, but needed help with the above mentioned issues.I dealt with Clark, the service manager throughout and I must say that he is one of the most patient and considerate service managers I can ever remember. He was never too busy to spend 10 or even 15 minutes on the phone answering my questions prior to my dropping my bike off and throughout the repair process. He is a real gem. Unfortunately, the mechanic that is the resident expert on vintage bikes had an accident the week after I dropped my bike off and was out of action for almost two months. Another mechanic took over the project and Jack did a fantastic job on my machine. With a bike that is 38 years old now, some parts are very difficult to source, with one of the parts having been found in Norway of all places. It was a frustrating 2 months plus of waiting for my bike repairs to be completed, but there were several extenuating circumstances that delayed things so it was not the norm for Willy World to take anywhere near that long for 99% of the repairs they do. It was an expensive proposition considering that 14.5 hours of labor alone is about 1200 dollars, but that is typical for bike repair labor rates and a lot of shops don’t even want to touch bikes that are almost 40 years old so I am glad that Willy World is near my home to take care of my bike when necessary.Although I would have liked to get my bike back a lot sooner, after waiting 25 years to ride it again, another two months didn’t kill me and the work they did for me is excellent. The bike now brakes better than it ever did and runs like it was brand new again. I would definitely give them my business again and can recommend their service department very highly, particularly Clark and the technicians that I met there. They are very knowledgeable and do quality work.As a follow up, I took my sons bike in that he had just bought on the 18th of March, 2016 for some work. It is a 2001 VN800 Vulcan that was in very good shape when bought, but needed the carb taken apart and cleaned. Even though the shop was very busy when I called, I was told to bring it in and they would try to get on it soon. They had it done in two days and the bike now runs like new. The carb was rebuilt and re-jetted to run properly with the Vance & Hines straight pipes on the bike as that was not done when they were installed. Great attention to detail by the technician on that. I also had a battery installed and was charged less that I could have sourced the same model for. I could not be happier with the treatment I have received from Willy World, in particular the service manager Clark and his great staff. I will be a customer as long as he is there and will gladly recommend them to anyone.
Easiest way to say this is stay away from this place. I went in to purchase a Honda Forza and noticed they had one for the advertised price of $4599. Sounded like a good price. Went in, one sales person of course so i had to way 20 minutes until i got even acknowledged. Once that happened i explained my needs and proceeded to purchase the scooter. The sales person that helped me made a breakdown of the total out the door cost of this purchase and came up with a total of roughly $6200. Seemed a bit high for from $4599 of advertised price. I havent made a purchase like this before so i didnt think too much about all the taxes and fees they placed on this scooter. Next step was to finalize the deal with Dennis their manager. He was very nice and made us feel happy to make the purchase but that didnt last long. I was told my APR rate and my monthly payment which i believed was a bit too high. I asked for the total out the door cost again to see whats going on and sure enough it wasnt $6200 anymore, it was $6900. WOW! That changed quickly. I was told that was 5 year warranty that got added on which I DID NOT ask for. So i told him no i dont need that. He took it out and my new total was $6400. I asked him why again since i agreed to $6200. He mentioned that thats the new fee they have for him to do all this work for us. WOW again. This is when i realized that from the price of the scooter to the total out the door cost, the fees might not be right. Thats almost $2000 in taxes and fees. My car purchase didnt have this many fees. He became irritated and began to yell and lose his cool with us. He mentioned that i agreed to pay $6200 and now i am backing out of the deal. I told him yes i did but that has obviously changed when he started adding more fees and stuck i wasnt told about. I was blindsided by a sales manager yelling at me for having questions about something I have to pay for. He tried to sugar coat thing by saying that he will give me the $6200 but he wont be able to give me the promised free bike cover that the sales person told me he will. Thats when i told him i need to think about this and come in the next day. I am 28 years old and i dont need to be yelled at and screamed at by someone that should make this situation easy and happy for me. He became even more irritated and i actually told him to calm down which didnt work. Thats when he finally thanked me for wasting his time and told me to step out. WOW again. WASTED HIS TIME, really?!! I went in to purchase something not get screwed out of money and yelled at for asking questions that most or not all places that sell something would be helping you without having to ask. I walked out actually happy that i didnt leave my money there.I ended up going to Leipold Motor Sales in Ottawa and let me tell you that i was able to purchase a Suzuki Burgman 400 ABS for the exact same price as the Honda Forza that i was about to get nailed for with the prices. Their taxes, title, and fees were only $550 compared to almost $2000 that this place was doing. I hope i was an exception and Willy World Cycles doesnt do this to everyone but if you go through this when you are there walk away. Everyone beware of this place. I almost got burned but locally there are other places out there that care about their customers and help you get a great deal and not worry about their own wallets.
This was about a year ago but I was cleaning out my wallet recently and came across a little reminder of why I will never give this place any of my money. I was a serious buyer for a WR 250r and had called 4 dealers in the area for an out the door price, sure some were more than others but only by $175 at most. I called WWC and asked for an out the door price and he wouldnt give me one, he just kept saying I should come in and discuss it in person, while the other shops just asked me a few questions like what county I live in and then gave me the number, I should have just ended it with WWC then and there. After the sales person called me back 3 more times over the next few days to try to get me to come in instead of just telling me the price for the bike I finally said sure Ill come down on Saturday and we can discuss a price which to this day I regret. I make it down to the shop which is out of my way by 40 minutes just to talk price about a bike that wasnt even in the store, they said they had 2 but they were in the warehouse. Finally after a week of asking for an out the door price I got one, His quote was $2,464 more than any of the other dealers, how is WWC off by that much? These people are scammers and I would advise everyone to avoid these vultures, I would give zero stars but sadly you cant do that.
Showed me the cycle up and down before I left. Great place
Have needed parts twice in the past week and the parts department has ordered me parts and in both instances they have gotten me the needed parts in two days or less. Excellent!!!
“Always have a good time at the shop..... keep it up”
Sales guy was friendly enough. When he gave me a price, it sounded decent; by the time he added all the prep charges and misc fees, the price almost doubled for the kids 4-wheeler...ridiculous. Tried them a 2nd time when looking for a larger 4-wheeler and a dirt-bike...same old game...couldnt get a straight price out of them...deceitful dealer at best. I prefer to give my business to someone who is straight up...I ended up purchasing from Richs Yamaha in Lockport, IL. So Willy World lost the sale of 3 bikes (Yamaha YZF6R, 110 dirt bike, 90 Raptor).
THEY HAVE THE WORST SERVICE DEPARMENT I HAVE EVER SEEN. DONT TAKE YOUR QUAD HERE IF YOU NEED WORK DONE. JUST A NIGHTMARE FROM THE START. Finally got my quad back after 4 weeks when i was told a week an half. Whats funny is when i went to pick my quad up craig tells me thanks for ripping us on the internet. The only reason i wrote this review is because they called me last thursday to come pick my quad up and when i got there to ride it the quad barely would even go. I took my quad in because of a noise coming from the carb but the quad was runninig good when i dropped it off. This isnt the only bad review i have seen about their service deparment. They do read these reviews and they should. They need to make some changes in that deparment.
Good group of guys and a good dealership to do business with...
Lots of bikes on the floor. Fairly large service department.
Great Service at counter, decent prices
Some cool bikes here and great service
Stopped at this shop while on a road trip and had a problem with a headlight bulb. They wanted me to leave the bike for them to check it out. RIDICULOUS. ***Dont waste your time getting off the highway for this place.***
They may have good bikes but they have terrible service when i try to ask a question online they completely ignore it. Never in my life will i be going back to willy world ever again.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY
Not knowledge able
Jake and Mike and Dennis and bobby are the baddest mother flowers at willy world
They are over priced and the costumer service is bad you walk in and walk out without anyone asking if you need help or not.
