Ive been in this store a few times and every time, Im always greeted immediately. Sometimes theyre busy, but they make sure that you know youre being taken care of or will be taken care of ASAP. Every employee Ive encountered there is super knowledgeable, friendly, and they go out of your way to make sure their customers are happy. Im happy and proud to have this great store near me!!!
The Rep was helpful with the plan options and upgrade. The bad part was they are short on stock and didnt have the model I wanted

Had several problems getting new phones. My husband has gone back several times to try and get everything correct. The managers seem to know less than the staff sadly. Finally got my new phone in the color I wanted but still waiting on getting our bill correct. They say it takes time, so hoping. If your up for headaches this is the place.
UPDATE:A couple months ago we did get a call from this Verizon store. I was hopeful that the GM, who gave me his personal phone number, would be the one to redeem this store and to fix our issues...but he has never returned one of my calls and the situation below is still not resolved. While I had hoped to write a retraction, I instead have only more bad news on this situation. Maybe this store works well for some of you...but we will NEVER walk in to this store and are considering ending our services due to these deceptive practices.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------We were utterly deceived the entire transaction.On a Saturday, we ordered new phones, wasnt informed phones were not even in stock in the building until after everything was done. Then, promised phones would be shipped and in our hands by Tuesday. By Thursday, we were tired of waiting, called corporate to find the phones werent going to ship for more than another week.Will not go back to this store. Cant even call this location to find resolution for the issues. Have to wait on hold for hours with the corporate customer service.
They fixed my phone quickly. Went over my new billing and removed a cloud $15.99 month charge my husband pressed on his phone by mistake. Great service.

Went in to find an iPad and a couple new phones for work... was quick and easy. They even had deals so we did not spend as much as we thought we would.

Scheduled an appointment, still had to wait 40 minutes. They asked why I was coming in when they put me on the wait list, then after the wait they asked again why I was there and immediately told me they are unable to help with my account in store and Id have to call customer service. Why not just tell me that right from the get go?
Visited with a friend. She was greeted immediately and her problem was taken care of extremely quickly. At first the manager seemed confused, but turned her over to someone else, (not a manager) and in a few minutes her problem was solved.

Very long wait, they had four people helping customers, but really three. I didnt know that you could make an appointment. But even people with appointments were waiting 30-40 minutes. After 75 minutes I left, was a waste of my time.
Ive been a customer consistently for The Last 5 Years I came to this particular Verizon store and the manager met me outside. When I asked about going inside he questioned me about my two dogs which are service animals. Then he stated that they have to have their service vest on and when I showed him theyre licensed card then he became a real jerk because I put him in his place. I prefer not to do business with anyone who has a problem with the American Disabilities Act especially when they violate said Act. I do not recommend this store at all especially the manager on duty today
Jose and Kwame are the worst. I came in to pick up a Sim card because I need it to add two lines to my existing account. I was told that the Sim card was free and that it wouldn’t be a problem by Kwame. I waited around for 30 minutes for Kwame to transfer my current number to another Sim card. That was not what I wanted. I never told him to do that. He assumed. After having to explain to him very slowly That all I needed was a Sim card he then told me he had to activate it in the store. After going back-and-forth with me explaining to him that I don’t want to activate that phone in the store right now because I’m in a hurry he still didn’t get it. After interacting with Kwame I venture to believe that there’s a lot of things that he doesn’t get, standard common sense, or good customer service. I asked to speak with a manager because Kwame’s attempt to help was to no avail. You could tell from the moment Jose walked up that he did not want to be there. His energy gives off the fact that he doesn’t like his job. When Jose came out I explain to him my dilemma. I’ve been a loyal customer and I just need a Sim card to activate this phone because it was a matter of time. I was porting over two numbers in the service ends today. Jose cut me off as I was speaking, told me that I was wasting his time. Literally the manager told me that I was wasting his time and my own. He was very short with me almost as if he was angry that I interrupted whatever he was doing in the back. It is obvious that Jose hates customers and he can’t stand to deal with the public. This is the kind of behavior in treatment that makes people not want to have Verizon wireless. I am actually now reconsidering even porting over my current service to Verizon. If this is the kind of treatment that customers can expect and corporate does nothing about it when you call. Then I recommend that everyone switch to a carrier that actually cares about customers and won’t allow employees like Jose to hold leadership positions to where they can do the most damage. Only shop at franchise locations.I understand that they cannot give customers Sim cards to activate lines to pay Verizon wireless more money, Kwame should’ve explained that in the beginning and not wasted my time. I guess this is the best Verizon Joliet. can do
A friend of mine went in to this store on 12/16/20 to get a clip for his phone he is 75 so is Relying on the younger generation to help him out so when he goes into the store I would hope as many of us do That they would treat him right they gave him the wrong case they put it on his phone they cracked the screen protector I had to go in there today with him and of course they wouldn’t allow him in with me to get a refund now these guys are supposed to be professionals and know what product they sell and which would fit what phone not getting the wrong case Verizon please look into this and please do better
Poor seevice. l had to wait for one hour and half just to get a case and screen protector for my new phone. That is ridiculous as i see employees walking around doing nothing and only three out of five employees helping customers. The three stars is because the employee that help me out was kind and helpful.
This location has been terrible as far as customer service. We have been waiting for a resolution for MONTHS. Not to mention we just finished dealing with your managers every month for 2 years straight because we had to literally “remind” them to apply the correct promotion to our bill because of a MISTAKE the store/employee made when selling us our old phones. Now we are going through the same thing AGAIN with our new phones. We have been waiting since December to get an answer from Matt and we text/call every week. I’m a customer of over a decade. But if this doesn’t get fixed, I’m done with Verizon.

I am planning to purchase 2 iphones. I wanted to transfer the data over from the my old phones to the new ones. I have been with verizon for 20 years, and they would transfer my data for me. Employee “Matt” claims they do not transfer the data anymore due to covid. This is a problem for me since I am not well verse with technology. He then went to the side and talked badly about me to another employee Andrea while I could hear this. This is not my first unpleasant experience with this store I am considering switching providers.
Ive had mixed experiences at this store. I have to say though this last one was absolutely the best. We were promptly helped and shown exactly what we asked for, which was a phone upgrade. They took care of us and mentioned a few offers they had going on, but were not too pushy about them.In and out quick, leaving with a smile.
No information about devices instantly right to the most expensive and when the Verizon deals was brought up had nothing to say but told me that the deal phone can be shipped ... total nonsense
[My problem with them they are not open many hours yet or at all plus they arent open to help with machine that checks on line info. Waiting for that service to come back again.

The location was pretty easy to see from traffic. They had a clean facility and a clean bathroom. The lady that helped me was decent though she could have been just a bit more friendly but overall it was a good experience and didnt take long at all.
Terrible/ poor customer service. The sales guy that helped us “Mike” was very rude and unprofessional. Unable to answer my questions, seemed a little in a rush and did not bother to get someone else to helped me since he was not in the mood to do his job. I have been with Verizon 8 years and this is the only time I have received the worst customer service ever.

Been go on there a long time. Not a whole lot of complaints. Except one black manager will not bother to help me out, our old phone company was bought by Verizon. We never switched are phone companies since 94. Had an issue with a screen protector and ask him for some help. He looked at me like I was trying to steal from. Called up the Verizon Wireless 1 800 number and made a complaint about him. Buy my products from a different Verizon Wireless store

Managers and Sales Associates not very familiar with the Truth. Go in and ask questions, then call Verizon Customer Service and ask same questions. You WILL get different answers! Left there yesterday with a plan that I thought would be better. They could not give me a receipt and could only email me one. After getting home and looking at the receipt and my last bill, the math was not right. Figured I would call this morning and get this straightened out. Went on My Verizon this morning and it showed my next bill and future bill the same with no discounts.( not what I was told) Called Verizon Customer Service and got a different story. Called this store back to ask why the misinformation and acted liked oh well who cares, got caught again, happy you found out and got it straight, look forward to lying to you in the future!! After Customer Service I am paying $40 a month less than the store sent to me and $30 a month less than my old plan! Call and talk to a Customer Service Rep, NOT a Sales Assoc, for the best and most accurate price. Hope this helps someone!!!
Showed up on black Friday to upgrade to a new phone . AFTER checking in and was told it would be about 5 minutes 20 minutes later I was waited on by a man named Juan, be was direct but not friendlyHe wrote up the paper work, got my phone, screen protector and case checked me out, set up bothering phones to transfer data told me it would take about 25 minutes to an hour and then he told me to sit down an he would check on me, the transfer completed Jaun with with another customer tied to ask some questions but he was with someone elseI felt he didnt care, the paper work was complete and I was on my own, the souls have been a 300 dollar discount that was never applied, I got my estimated new bill and I didnt get credit for the discount.This is screwed upI felt like cattle being herded through the storeNo personal experienceNever again will set foot in this place

I had a very pleasant experience at this store. Customer service was on point. I am from out of state working and needed a new phone. Antonia was a very helpful representative who did a great job explaining what I was receiving and she was very thorough. Very happy with her help. Remember that it is by the mall. So, have the expectation that there will be a decent volume of customers coming in and there might be a wait time.
Its all about the person helping you. Ive had people who were no help whatsoever, others who were average, and some who were excellent. Today I had Yolanda, who was excellent. If everyone was like her, it would be the best store around.

Wait times can be very long if you go on weekends or evenings. Mornings seem to be better. Most staff members are helpful and knowledgable.
Bill was our sales guy who helped me upgrade my phone, it happened to be black Friday and it was the quickest, friendliest, and easiest visit Ive ever had here. Next time youre here ask for Bill, he did an excellent job from the moment we walked in to walking us to the door when we were finished!
Came here wanting to switch 3 lines from AT&T, was assisted by a lady I can’t remember her name now, felt rushed as I had a lot of questions switching us over, the place was packed, she stated during our interaction she just saw a lady she had to help that was actually here before me. She stopped and helped her and said she would be right back. That customer came in after me, but that customer grabbed a bunch of accessories so my rep decided to try to get those sales quickly and then come back to us, not knowing I wanted 3 new lines. Turned out that lady had a lot of questions about accessories and was not just buying them “real quick”. I watched as my rep tried to state she that that customer had to wait then. Smh, unreal. She came back to us with no sales on those accessories and made the lady wait in line that she claimed was there before us lol. I didn’t confront her cuz I was irate at this point she had the audacity to do that. I explained I wanted to switch and her whole tone changed with me. I also used to work sales so I understand, but there is integrity to it especially with so many other sales people there. It’s not fair to your team. I still want to get Verizon just looking for another corporate store to do it now. Or at least a rep from here that will be willing to be patient enough to get us transferred over. My daughter even noticed what this sales rep did which is what really made this worse.

Excellent service they do what they say thier going to do when they told me they would put a new screen protector on my phone whenever I needed a new one they meant it- of course i had to purchase them but i went through 3 of them in 8 months im a little bit more harder on things.

Worse experience ever!!! My wife and I came in to purchase phones as gifts for our children. We previously visited an authorized dealer but decided to go through an actual Verizon store to complete our transaction, we already had plans selected and the cost associated with the lines, however the sales person Rafael, suggested we upgrade all our phones. We reluctantly agreed because he said it would only increase our bill by a few dollars more than what we were paying now. To our unpleasant surprise he said the bill would increase by 50 dollars more than what we would be paying!!!! At this point he began to get agitated because we would not take the 2 month bill credit, because once thats over the bill would be higher than we could afford. When told we wanted the original quote he said he couldnt do it because the system wouldnt allow him (not my problem) at one point he began to talk to wife from across the room because at this point we had been in the store for two hours!!!!! I even explained to him that we had things to do, I have a pinched nerve in my back and was ready to rest. Even after the manager request, we were not told by the sales person or the manager the status of what was going on, we had to asked them ourselves (unprofessional) at this point it has now been three hours!!!! I dont feel they sympathized at all, there was nothing done except a weak ass apology from the guy who tried to screw us over. We have been loyal customers for several years and never had an experience this bad. I will never go to this place again!!!
Stay away!! Please. Notice all their 5 star are purchase or upgrade/porting over to Verizon sales. Suspicious!!!!Definitely do not go up there with something that is theyre fault. They will make you lose your religion.Yes they are salesman, not tech support. It is very irritating expecting them to know something and they dont, and are irritated and want you to leave because they made mistakes. There are like the people that care I had to good experiences up there. The other 10 were hell and borderline unprofessional.If I wasnt a salesman/customer service myself and didnt know how to deal with people like that I wouldve gotten dismissed. I had to negotiate with them at a salesman level the get my problems solved without compensation for the gas I wasted driving back and forth up there the drama I went threw with them, them breaking professionalism and getting their own personal feelings involved. Then the ONE person who knows anything about phones had a solution for my problem, unfortunately at the end of my road but its like I cant deal with these people no more if it doesnt work.They are salesmen dont expect real help if your not buying anything.

Ellie was awesome! We ordered our phones online and a few details were left unhandled, making my switch from Sprint and my wife upgrading with Verizon difficult. Ellie and Nick worked together and took great care of us. She was even able to fix our plan so we had everything we needed. Excellent service in the store. Definitely happy with the switch to Verizon.

This store was very helpful we were sent to this store from the Peru, Il. Store they did absolutely no research and told us that we could do an exchange on our phones there, So my husband took the day off work and they informed us that they dont do that and havent done that for approximately four years. Well great now my husband has lost a days pay because someone should have made a phone call, but good news phones are fixed and if we need anything else we will be going up to Joliet they were very friendly and had a wonderful system so you were not standing around for 30 minutes waiting for someone to help you

Tried to ask Jose the manager of this location to call the corp line because even if I was on the prepaid side they the corporate side still overseen the prepaid side but he refused and said that my money in my account cannot be refunded even if that was what i was told to go to a corporate office to hav the refund processed but I recorded the conversation once he started to dissolve his professionalism which he didnt want happening because he confronted me on it and tries to embarrass me by asking to leave the store to which I replied I wouldnt hav to if you wasnt acting the way you are and kept telling me that to dial *611 which I replied it wouldnt put me into contact with the corporate line but the prepaid side which originally had told me to contact the corporate office to which he said that he didnt care about that or me recording and just to leave I noticed that all of the employees were basically just standing around doing literally nothing I could see why this guy acted the way he did but the real point is that Ive been having a lot of problems and am deciding to switch my phone carrier and they are literally telling me that I will not hav my funds reimbursed which is not how things work especially when its mine Im not going to be forced to pay for something that does not consider me a valuable resource or a person at the least

It started with a horrible experience that lasted two and a half hours. I recommend bringing food and a therapist. Since the rep over the phone as well as in the store were grossly incompetent as well as made me feel very insecure about my purchase.
Second time coming into this store and it being this way . Im literally sitting in their chair writing this review. Not a single person asks you if you need help instead just assume whos next and waited for 30 minutes just to watch others get helped after they have walked in after you . Ill take my money else where .
Very difficult store to get to. We weren’t able to get the phones we wanted because of there stupid credit limit; Basically, if you are switching from a prepaid phone you don’t get as many benefits as you would switching from an actual company. Even though they boast about their wide coverage, we have horrible connection problems and very slow internet. I wouldn’t have chosen them

They tell you incorrect information and try to argue with you when you let them know your issue. Do not listen to them when they tell you how much your bill is going to be, it will be more. Theyre sales people, not customer service people. I will never be going to a store again. I advise dealing with things fully through customer service. Also, if you are switching from an iPhone to an android and trading that one in for an upgrade, make sure you turn your I message off, because they wont tell you that either.
Needed help with my Verizon pad which I did not receive...salesperson only wanted to sell me an upgrade. Also wanted info on a new phone for my daughter...salesperson wanted to sell me a super expensive phone with HUM and projector, etc... which was not what I needed. Finally she listened and offered a phone that was reasonable.

Extremely helpful staff! I have always had great service here and I have been a verizon customer for over 10 years. I travel about 30 minutes to go to this location. I am a big fan of verizon in general I think I get awesome service in every area I have ever been.
They are very nice here but it always seems like they can have one to two more employees helping the amount of people that are waiting there.
The employee that helped us was great, would go back to see him in the future.
I was told on the phone that my replacement phone was ready to pick up. When I got the agree taking off from work early I was told they couldnt sell it to me until the very next day. My time is valuable.

The customer service here is non existent. If you are spending money, then they are your best friend, but if you need help or support, you will get shown the door at best, or berated and blamed at worst. Go to a smaller store. The staff at those locations are way more helpful and imformed. If you do happen to purchase something here, dont plan on getting your phone activated, or any content transferred from phone to phone.Update: 9/19/20. I figure after 2 years the service might be better. I came to buy a tempered glass screen protector for my Note 20. What I was sold for $55 was a piece of plastic. I call support, and was directed to the store to return it, and they noted my account. When I got here the rep Rafael was told he sold me the wrong item. He became hostile and defensive and blamed me for not realizing his mistake. I called support back from the store parking lot and got a way better experience, and my issue resolved. Ill be flagging the manager down to file a complaint against Rafael for his rude, and condescending interaction.
Helpful staff at all locations. The corporate store in the Louis Joliet mall is able to help more than the smaller stores for things like warranty issues.Verizon is the most expensive phone service, though they are slipping from being the most reliable. There are a few 4G dead areas in major areas within Joliet, that even after being reported are simply looked into. after a year, that answer is a joke.
Andrea, the general manager was most helpful. Took her time, making sure all of our needs were met.

I asked him to sign me up for unlimited data. He said since I had so many lines, paperless billing and Auto pay, it would only cost me an additional $10 per month. After waiting for the u limited data to go into effect, I went to another Verizon store.Not only did he NOT put me on the unlimited plan, but he was WRONG telling me it would only be $10! I go to the Verizon by the mall usually, but more and more I have received horrible service.
I work 3rd shift and my wife works days. Our sxhet often leaves a small gap to make a trip together. We arrived about 40 minutes before they closed and patiently waited for an associate to talk to us before they closed.After they finished their last customers for the day they discreetly left the floor. The manager quickly noticed we had not been serviced yet but was still working with another customer. She apologized for the delay and tried to get somebody from the back came out finish the customer that she had already been helping. meanwhile my wife and I had already made the decision of what phones we were going to choose so the service was going to be rather fast so if they work on commission I hope that the manager received the comission on our purchase because it was an in and out process. I give the manager props for quality customer service.
Mmm just came in for simple questions the person they send us didnt no help, premature visit it says came here for info oh well but i asked the second person he answer all my questions awesome.
I really only have 2 complaints with this location and neither are within their control. One - this location is *always* busy - probably due to being the only actual Verizon dealer in the area and being right next to the mall and right off the interstate. Two - the parking (or lack thereof). Its pitiful - and its a deadend parking lot - so if you get in and dont find one of the 8 spots open - good luck if you have a large vehicle.

For all the bad reviews I read about waiting its not that bad. I dealt with Mike he was very helpful for me and my family and has been very helpful making the switch to Verizon.

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had at a Verizon store. After spending two days calling back and forth with the corporate customer service and with this specific location I was told by the manager that there was nothing that could be done to resolve my problem.I went to this location to pre-order the new iPhone, was LIED TO by the sales associate as to the arrival date of the phone and called the store wanting answers. I was told my phone would arrive on September 25 by the sales associate and corporate informed me that I should not expect my phone until the END OF OCTOBER. After calling this specific store, being put on hold for a significant amount of time I was told there was nothing they could do and they were unwilling to provide any compensation for the lies of their employee. I will be thinking twice before continuing my service with Verizon.

Horrible customer service. Purchased a phone thats giving me problems, went in person to try and resolve the issue and was hoping for a resolution... That resolution was thrown out the door immediately. The associate was extremely rude, not helpful, nor did she want to help at all, she was useless. A bunch of Bozos working there. Asked to speak to the manager, and he wasnt available, left my phone number so I could be reached at, and so far I have NOT received any phone calls back. Have been calling, but apparently the manager disappeared, or just simply doesnt know how to return calls? Either one, this establishment is very unprofessional, no respect for customers, and highly HORRIBLE customer service. Would NOT recommend this place at all, I wouldnt even give it a star! Going elsewhere.

I would give them 0 stars if it was possible. I have tried many times to get help from the people at this store and never leave a happy person.Today was the icing on the cake ... I took my Moms replacement and broken phone in to get help switching it over. The 3 employees at the front were obviously not busy. The guy told me he couldnt help I would have to call a 1800 number. After re explaining what I needed done they started to help me. Then we discovered we were sent the wrong phone ... so now we have to start the whole process over again.I absolutely hate going to this store and would tell anyone to steer clear!
