I saw the reviews prior to visiting the store and was concerned. I needed HP Laser cartridges. The OfficeMax website had them (a 3-Pack) in stock for $298. Upon arrival I was asked immediately if I needed any help. I was brought to the printer cartridge area and shown the exact item I asked about. I explained that the displayed price was $319 and the OfficeMax website had it listed for $298. The store representative looked on their website and agreed to a price match. Then I asked about a military discount. She told me they didnt have one, but agreed to give me an additional 10% off. End of story. Great service from beginning to end. Everyone deserves a second chance!

Ridiculous. A manager and an employee are standing in the entrance having an entire conversation while one woman on the register deals with an irate customer. Another man and myself were in line waiting while this is happening and the employee at the register receives no help, and we were given no assistance, while all in plain view of the other employees.After waiting 10 minutes in line, I walked out without what I wanted to purchase.

Great selection of office supplies and hardware. I came to this location to purchase a new printer. I worked with a very knowledgeable salesman who helped me select a printer appropriate to my home needs.The location had a great promotion going on when I was there. I got a google home mini due to the size of my purchase.Will definitely consider returning for future office supply needs as they arise.

Extremely slow copy service every single time! Youre better off going to the Crest Hill Library and paying a little bit more if you just need basic printing. They have the self-serve stations but they only take credit/debit cards and they dont have an override if you have change for a $.30 print. Every time I try to give them a chance again I spend at least 20 minutes waiting because despite their sign that if you have multiple documents or emails youll have to wait for your documents to be finished, they dont seem to ever follow that rule. Other staff members can be standing around, but nobody is ever willing to jump behind the copy station to help out. Theyre not rude, they just dont care.

Today I went in and had a bunch of things printed for my baby shower Ivan, Nina and Jerail They were so kind and so helpful and so knowledgeable about what they were doing and even know I didnt need it all today they made sure I got it all right away and I greatly appreciate the hard customer service that they provided for me today I would recommend them to anyone who needed to get things printed in a quick in fashionable manner.

I had some papers to Fax. It was very simple. No help needed, but I had fo use the restroom and it was disgusting. It smelled, and was dirty. I could not bellerive it, just down right gross. Ive seen better at gas stations.🤮

I went to this OfficeMax location to print and cut some items needed for my wedding. Diana helped me at the print center and she was extremely patient and friendly. I have done some previous printing at Staples and OfficeMax charges a fraction of the price for a better experience.

If there was zero stars I would definitely give this store one. On 9/17/19 I purchased a desk and a chair for the desk. I tried putting the desk together and there was two of the same parts which didn’t allow the sliding cabinets to slide. I took back the desk and they gave me less amount of what I payed for. I didn’t ask for a store credit all I asked for was a new desk that had the CORRECT parts to it. They took my money and they took the desk and they gave me nothing in return. The general manager is rude and does not know what good customer service is! Please do not waste your time and money in this store!

Yes this location is very poorly managed dinner and I really dont like to give bad reviews but I dont know how this place stays open I recommend calling ahead to ask you about what you want theyve always got excuses and problems about copy services and other items look elsewhere. The store out near the New Lenox area is an old Office Depot much better choice

Very poor customer service I went for the printing some papers machines are not working well employees r not experienced and could not provide any help if someone cant work on self service system then nobody helps them its not only one time I experienced several time I go over there for printing papers but every time I face same situation very very rude and inexperienced staff never go again

We have made this location our place to go for all of our business needs, after spending thousands to furnish our business now, when they print a stack of intake forms etc. and they are grainy and hard to read their new policy change on copies is no matter how terrible they turn out im expected to pay for them anyway. anyone else would correct their mistake and replace the bad copies which is good business, the cashier insisted that I had to pay for them regardless because they pushed the button. I offered to pay for some of the better copies but no, she wanted to charge me for all of the bad ones too. so I told her o.k. then you can keep them all and walked out while she was repeating Sir, sir you have to pay for these sir. Ill just order online from someone else. very disappointed.

Poor customer service. Employees on the floor seemed as if it was an inconvenience to help us. The cashier, however, was pleasent enough. The store was drab and lowly lit, with a very depressing feel.

This location sucks. The associates act like youre an inconvenience to their otherwise peaceful day. Not just indifferent, but outright rude and mean. Ive tried the location 3 times with the same results and varied employees. The store needs new management or just to be torn down entirely and make room for a starbucks. Sad.

Incompetence!!! Liars!!! Not caring!I called the store, spoke to Ken. Asked if they had IN STOCK 64g micro dual memory stick for downloading from phone.. Ken said yes, we have it. Me:are you sure. Kenyes, we have the 64g phone micro usb flash drive. Me: I am coming from 40 minutes away, so want to make sure you have it. I need it today. Ken: YES, we have it! Me: you have 64g, NOT Two 32g. When downloading i have no way of choosing what to load, so it would be same 1st docs for both drives. Ken laughing: Yes, we have it. Me ok, i am on my way.Got to store.... DONT HAVE IT. Female sales person told me to use a sd card. Me: NO, my phone doesnt have a removable card. Her:All phones have removable cards. I then had to try to explain what i want, she didnt know of sich a thing. I told her to get Ken. Nooooo, she went and got Matt.Matt says I am SORRY, we dont even carry this in the store. Me: (voice raised and pointed) WHAT? Matt All i can say is sorry, we can order it for you. Me: i want to talk to Ken. Matt: Sorry, he is busy.Turns out KEN was working registers and cant help me because helping another customer.These employees are not knowledgeable. Lie. Dont care.I miss the old manager and employees!!!! They cared!

Used the restroom at this OfficeMax while shopping around. The ladies bathroom was disgusting. There was poop smeared on the outside of the toilet, there was no soap in the dispenser as well as no hand towels to dry my hands. The entire floor was filled with crumbs and dirt. Other than the terribly filthy bathroom, the people at this store are friendly and kind.

I come to this store to print out things for school, theres this one girl behind the printing counter that always wears a bandana on her head she is so rude, and always has anot attitude, but the other girl that works behind that counter is so nice, when I come in I always look for her. Yesterday I was there I needed a binder and came to the front and there was a huge line and only one register open, I was in like for almost 15 mins until finally another person comes up and opens to another register, the girl at the register was Kimberly, she was so rude and so fake when she talked, I was up next for the register and she didnt even say hi to me or asked how I was doing she justold scanned my binder and asked if I want it in a bad I said yes please and she tolled her eyes and threw my binder in a bad and threw it on the counter to me and I swiped my card and paid, she hands my receipt with a Fake tone and a fake smile have a nice day and I grabbed it and I havent walked away from the counter yet and shes yells NEXT!! To whoever was in line, so rude I would never ever want to deal with her if I ever go into that store absolutely horrible. Im taking my business to you and Im practically paying your paycheck and you treat me bad thats just horrible never again!!!
