My eye doc of 25 years moved states, so I decided to try a chain. I was using last years eye insurance (unused due to Covid) for glasses, and the insurance company gave me lousy instructions but the staff was willing to call to try to straighten it out.The eye doctor was great; she was personable but professional, efficient but thorough. My new glasses were good, and she was definitely right that I had needed an updated prescription.A few weeks later, I showed up as a walk-in (as staff told me I could have the first time). They were busy but still squeezed me in to get contacts. Staff recalled me (maybe for the wrong reasons considering the insurance run-around :) ), as did the eye doc.The eye doctor suggested a change of brand for my contacts, and boy, are they comfy! The woman who placed the contact order was really kind and customer-oriented. I was on my way within 15 or 20 minutes of arriving, which is awesome.Im glad actually that I had two appointments in a short time because if Id gone only by my first impression, when I felt like I needed to advocate for myself based on what the insurance company told me had to happen for correct billing, I might have gotten an incomplete view of the customer service.I expect to continue going here, which is a good sign. :) But Im going to believe staff on billing, not the insurance company, which kept doubling down on incorrect info.

Brittany fixed my glasses for me without any charge. I told her the glasses was bought from this store and she took them back and put the lense back in and leveled the frames. For no charge! It was very helpful and I was so appreciative

I gave it one star because all the ladies were very nice. But when it came to my glasses first time around they were made wrong, sent them back to get fixed waited another two weeks came back still wrong. And my contacts first your supposed to order one to tryout make sure you can see with it. Also came back wrong plus they went ahead and ordered a years supply. Lost money because they wouldnt refund all my money back and i still didnt have any glasses. Waste of my time and money.

I recently had a vision exam after not having one for many years. I do require glasses at night now and the staff were so polite and informative. Great experience overall. Vision Works will now be my yearly provider!!

I just went to Vision Works and was received with a warm greeting from Denise ! I was early for my appointment. She took time to ask me questions to help me find the pair of glasses I wanted . Cleaned them and set up my appointment . Great service and friendly staff.

The entire staff at Louis Mall was wonderful! It was also nice to see the store and glasses people were trying on sanitized, as well as temp check before you were in. Dr. Loesch was amazing with my 10 year old grand daughter. Had her laughing and definitely made the whole process of OMG, not glasses, a little easier!!

I was 5 minutes late. for this appointment and was coming from burr ridge . When I arrived I was told my appointment had been cancelar and the doctor had already left. The doctor or staff took it upon themselves to cancel my appointment without a phone call or anything I was running a few minute late. I am Very unhappy and but it was very unprofessional of them not to call and just cancel my appointment without any notice.

This is a wonderful office. The attention to detail is outstanding. They always make sure you are satisfied before you leave. I would recommend this place to all my friends and family.

Havent been to an eye doc so long, so I went today and Visionworks was my choice due to looking into a few places. I was extremely happy after leaving here. Everyone was extremely nice and friendly. Shannon was so comforting as he help me in picking my glasses out. The eye doc :) was so friendly, hands on, definitely made my visit worth it. Thank you all.

Boyfriend and I both had eye appointments. The doctor did a great job she and her staff are super sweet. Felt very comfortable being there. Prices are a bit up there, but thats a company thing not just this store. We will be back :)

I went to this location today and I was very pleased with the medical staff and the Doctor made me feel really good about my examination. She made sure that I got the best vision care possible. Im looking forward to taking my whole family there for eye care.

Went in for a new exam for glasses and contacts and I received my contacts 3 days later and my glasses 5 days later !!! So fast !! So happy it didn’t take 2 week like other places I have gone to.

I went in to see if they would be able to repair a pair of sunglasses I had purchased over a year ago. The frames were a little bent and were sitting crooked on my face. I walked in and informed the woman at the counter that I was looking to see how much it would cost to repair them. Before I go any further, it’s important to point out that I didn’t even buy my glasses at this location or any Vision Works. Lacey not only took the time to repair my glasses and tighten the screw but she also cleaned them as well!! Above and beyond customer service even though I wasn’t even a customer of theirs! I definitely will be moving forward!!

I love my glasses that I got from here! they treated me like I was part of their family. I highly recommend coming in and if you do I recommend talking to Laci-Linn she was very kind and helped me find the perfect pair for me!

Came here to get new frames and prescription and they were able to do everything pretty quick and easy. There was nice selection of frames & styles and Allison was very helpful and helped me find which pair best suits me.

Hillary the manager is wonderful! I had some complaints from a visit when she wasnt there, but she straightened everything out personally and explained everything that was a little confusing to me. She was patient and did not come off as rude or anything. Very friendly. Thank you!

I went in to Vision works with my mom to get an eye exam and was very pleased with the experience! Doctor Stammich was very knowledgeable and the eye wear specialist, Laci, was extremely friendly. I would highly recommend this vision works if your looking for friendly staff and good service!

I had an eye appointment at 6pm on a Friday and I was 5 minutes late. I left work early for this appointment and was coming from all the way up by O hare airport. When I arrived I was told my appointment had been cancelled by me and the doctor had already left. I stated that it had in fact NOT been cancelled by me at all. Pay attention to the fine print. Buy one get one free only works if youre paying cash if youre using insurance No Deal. Seems like a bait and switch to me.

I had an awesome experience here, staff were friendly and helpful, the Dr. was professional, friendly and did a completer exam, explained how much each eye changed. I dont know about those other reviews but, I was a little early for my appt and they started the pre exam and had me ready to go when the Dr. was ready. Would highly recommend vision works they evenfigured out what I would owe after insurance.

I have been going to Visonworks for a few years now. My experience with Dr. And staff has always been great. I had a hard time choosing my new frames this year and Allison and Nicole were awesome! They listened to me and got me in 2 fun frames as I asked for. When I went to pick my frames up yesterday, Nicole was alone taking care of customers. She took care of 3 of us in a timely manner and never felt like she stressed or rushing. She took the time to explain my warranty and cleaned my new glasses. Definitely fo ro Visionworks!

Came in at 5:00 a half hour before my appointment and was told they couldnt do my eye exam because they had to dilate my eyes???Lenscrafters at the mall are taking care of me..(its the next day)

Terrible, terrible, terrible! Took 3 kids over the course of 2 weeks and had negative experiences each time. We recently got new insurance and wanted to get them seen before the end of the year. Unfortunately, our usual eye doctor was not in network, so we went here. One member of the staff is very rude, they were not clear with how they were billing me and there were inconsistencies in prescription of contacts vs glasses....I felt this place was very unprofessional and will NOT RETURN!

There glasses are really expensive and not that great. The doctor they have right now is good I like him . I went years ago and got a wrong script but I guess that can happen anywhere. This time I took a kid and I did end up buying him glasses becuase they were 40% off however they still cost a lot more than literally anywhere else I have gone. I know I have to get him a second pair somewhere else due to past experences of every pair every buying from them for anyone breaking, yet I own glasses that are 7 years old and still fine from other places. There brand of transissions are horrible we owned three pairs all turned a yellow color and stayed that way around the six month mark.

Very degrading service. Associate tells me to take a seat and after 10 minutes of waiting I walked out. She was too busy talking to other associates. I would rather give my business to third party sellers where atleast there is respect for a client.

I purchased glasses from VW with all the options for my lenses (HD, UV, Transitions and scratch resistant), was not cheap. I noticed stress cracks on one lense of the pair I purchased 5 months ago. I took the glasses in and was expecting them to fix them as there is an obvious defect with the lense. I was told they only have a 30 day warranty and I should have purchased a protection plan and they would not fix. Unreal, I was very upset at this as the stress cracks were obviously a manufacturers defect which I would think they would want to cover to show they stand behind their product. VERY disappointed with Visionworks inside Louis Joliet Mall. Every place should stand behind their product but obviously this place is more interested in just taking the customers money and then forget about the customer. The funny thing is we were going to purchase sunglasses while my glasses got fixed....sorry, Americas Best now has our business. Americas Best has a one year warranty on their glassses as I know this because we just purchased 4 pairs of glasses there yesterday.I really hope anybody thinking about glasses will think twice about visiting Visionworks in Louis Joliet Mall and check out other options.

Visionworks seemed to have a problem making a pair of progressive lenses (they had to send my glasses out to a third party) at which time I cancelled my order.I then went to a different eye doctor who found I had a cataract in my eye that Visionworks had missed.Thats a pretty serious condition to miss.Do not go here.

Worst customer service the doctor was rude. Lady at the desk must of been having a bad month because every time I came in she was rude.

I got my glasses & my grandsonwe had a different eye Dr who said he was 20/ 200 this was not true my grandson got his new glasses and it was like the boy seeing for the first time Vision works is friendly & caring looking for to our next visit .

Just dont even come here. Save yourself a 2 hour wait to get a box of contacts.
