I love the amazing book store I get all my music books there better selection then anywhere in town I just wish they were open on mondays again my only day off.

We feel so lucky to have this gem in Juneau. Our daughter absolutely loves coming here. Kind staff and affordable quality books.

Such an awesome place. Some of us still like a tangible book and there is no end to the variety of books available at friends of the library and they only cost a dollar or two. You just can’t go wrong if your a reader of “old school” book.

This bookstore, located close to the Juneau Airport, is a gem. Thank you to all the Juneau readers who are donating their books so travelers can pick a few up for their downtime in Alaska. Discovered a large print Leaves of Grass by Walt Whitman for a class this autumn. Wish the location could be moved into the airport (like in Milwaukee)!

I love this store. Great selection and great prices. I have saved hundreds of dollars over the years by buying books second hand. Although I wish it were more organized, and the airport mall has been inundated with meth heads as of late, making a visit to the book store less than pleasurable if I have my kids present. They used to run down the halls back and forth. Now, I cant let them do that. The bathroom is often used as a smoke shack for drug users and hobos.

Used, often in Like New condition, Books, Board Games, Puzzles Oh My! Knowledgeable, and Friendly Staff ready to help you find just what you might be looking for. All items at garage sale prices, or just a wee bit above, and a wide variety of interests covered for children, tweens, teenagers, and adults alike. All proceeds, from sales, go to support the Juneau Public Library; hence the reason this shop is called: Friends of the Library😊

Very rarely do you find a bookstore with such a huge variety of books, but also at a ridiculously good price. Not to mention the fact that while youre splurging on books you didnt know you needed, youre helping out the local library. Win/win/win. Every time Im in Juneau, about once a month, I have to stop in here. And never do I leave with fewer than 5 new books. Do yourself a favor and check this store out.

Over the years Ive found some really great books here. Many from my Amazon wishlist, but for much cheaper!My children also love coming here. Theres not only books but DVDs, VHS, puzzles and games. Also there greatly priced learning books and kits for home education.
