Staff was very helpful, but the stock on hand in the store was limited and many areas (such as tripods, peak design equipment) were unstocked and bare. Im not sure if this was due to the pandemic or not. I was pretty disappointed.

This is a great resource if you like to look at equipment in person rather than online. Not only do they have a good selection of equipment, their staff is always incredibly helpful and knowledgable when helping you choose the right fit or problem solve for a project.

Norman Camera used to be the place to go. Saturday I stopped in to find a product that the website had in stock but after 10 min of walking around the store 3 times and not finding it, I left. Two customers where in the store that where together, one employee was helping them. No HI from the one employee and NOTHING from the other two employees behind the counter. I got the product on-Line from a different place for a cheaper price. Good Luck Normans

I stopped by the shop today for the first time just browsing and the guy behind the counter was awesome. He showed me their used lens stock as well as answered some questions I had. I wont shop anywhere else from here on out. Im new to photography so it was a breath of fresh air to find such an amazing shop so close to home for all my photography needs. A+ service

The staff is really friendly & helpful and can answer any questions regardless of the type of camera you own. Its nice to be able to actually try the equipment while you are there to see the results with various lenses and the selection is great whether you need new or used lenses or bags & backdrops, or albums/frames & accessories. The service is fantastic whenever Ive been in and they even have classes for advancing your skills.

I get the best service here. They have super knowledgable staff who can always anwer my questions. And their turn around time and quality for lab services cant be beat. You do pay a few more bucks here than you would online but its totally worth the peace of mind knowing your product is exactly what you want.

Service has improved over the last couple of years. Sales people are knowledgeable and courteous. Prices are reasonable for a retail shop which employs local people and has a place you can visit to see and touch products & discuss alternatives. If you only buy on the web, eventually Normans and other similar stores will go the way of Calumet (major US photography supplies/equipment chain which went bankrupt in early 2014.)

Every person there is extremely knowledgeable about anything you have a question about. I would never stop going there if they sold more used gear. Unfortunately the prices of most things are not always competitive with online options such as amazon but thats to be expected with a store. If you value customer service over price, this is the place for you.

I stopped in just to see what used camera lenses they have for sale. While they have a lot to choose from there were not any that I was interested in today. The store was busy, but a gentleman working there approached me shortly after I arrived. I was interested in camera mounts, and he took as much time as I wanted to answer my questions.

I love Norman camera. The knowledgeable staff is extremely helpful. I have ordered from other companies online and bought from Normans and whenever I have had an issue, Normans has fixed it immediately, whereas, the online companies are an absolute nightmare and Normans ends up sending out the equipment for me anyway. They price match and have worked with me when I have had gear break or need repair and need to rent equipment. I wouldnt go anywhere else for my gear!

Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful as soon as you walk in. I also appreciate that the staff are patient with those of us who arent experts (yet). Prices are okay, sometimes they are on par with what I have found elsewhere and sometimes they are less or slightly more, but never a big deal. I like giving my business to a local business and everyone I have spoken with about Normans has good things to say. I will be there this week for some things. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because the last time I came in, it took a while for the clerk to come and check on me as I browsed and from what I overheard, it was not due to him assisting a customer, but it sounded very much so like a personal conversation. As far as customer service goes, I would expect any non-work related chatter to be halted when a customer enters the store. Eventually he came over and was very helpful when he did, so no harm, no foul.

My amateur photographer wife is like a kid in a candy store in this place. Part of me wants to give this place a bad review beacuse she spent so much money, but thats not their fault. This place is great. They have an amazing selection of stuff for cameras both vintage and new.

It was... but it was examined first, and when no repair was possible they had an identical one available, used, at half the price of a new one. I considered it a success! Very helpful staff. I went in and immediately someone was called to help me.

Staff is great, checked to see if they had GoPro Fetch dog harness on June 15th can it seemed the last one was bought and that they had placed an order for them on that day. I can in on June 24th, still didn’t have them so I decided just to pay for one and it’s now June 2nd and still nothing.

Great customer service, fast processing and delivery. I was in need of a cute camera bag for my D90 and a few lenses. I found Epiphanie Bags with a google search at midnight on a Sunday. I needed the bag for a trip by Wednesday. So I was exited and panicking at the same time. I called Ephiphanie Bags didnt response soon enough in my panicking mode so I called Norman Camera and they answered right away. They also processed my order within hours of me placing the order online (trust me I was tracking the order by the minute). I paid for over night shipping and it arrived Tuesday afternoon. Ive shopped at Norman Camera since the late 1970s. They have a great selection, for the new photographer to the professional. The staff is all very knowledgeable and friendly. Their prices compare favorably with the big camera dealers like B&H and Adorama. And for those who say, I can get it for less on ebay, yeah you might, assuming you get what you ordered and there are no problems. If you have questions or problems with a purchase Normans will make it right. Many years ago I bought a pro level camera body that seemed fine at first, but days later would not focus correctly. I took the body back in and they replaced it immediately. You wont get that kind of service on ebay.

I needed 8mm and 16mm film converted to dvds. Norman made it happen at prices very comparable to internet companies with local personal service as part of the equation. The product is excellent.

Spectacular camera store, well-worth driving a couple of hours (as I do) to interact with its expert staff in order to make informed equipment purchases. Its the one of the few remaining of a dying bread; were lucky to have it.Ive done business with Norman since I shot weddings with Hasselblad and Nikon film cameras in the early 1980s. To this day, they remain my go-to source for digital still and video equipment: Canon, Nikon, and Leica, primarily (though Ive kept up with them on Fujifilm as well). Also a great selection of studio gear, tripods (including more exotic rigs), lighting (strobe and continuous), and backgrounds.Nothing beats being able to experience such equipment.Highly recommended.
