Great little cafe, I love the outdoor patio/deck. They have a decent assortment of items to choose from including a vegan burrito. It was good it just needed more flavor, luckily I travel with my hot sauce salt and pepper. I will go back.

I love this shop! Theres great seating indoors & out. Their staff is excellent - they are personable, helpful, and kind. Their coffee is great, and it is usually pretty quick. This is my go-to spot for meeting up, if its within their daytime-limited hours.

In my opinion as an acolyte and patron of the best local coffeehouses wherever I call home, this lovely downtown caffeine oasis is my most recent find-and the best yet-in an area with a considerable number of excellent java stops. Friendly staff, gorgeous interior design and, to make it top my list, the best drip coffee I have had to date since moving to Kalamazoo. I will be a (very) frequent and loyal return customer.

I really enjoyed my visit to Walnut & Park Cafe! I bought a wrap and a salad as well as a raspberry lemonade! I had a wonderful experience and am looking forward to going back to get coffee soon!

The coffee here is inconsistent, due to its proximity to me I come here often. Some days it is as good as anywhere, while others it is burnt and rather distasteful. On the plus side this place has good paninis, free wifi, and cheap coffee.

My first time actually visiting this neighborhood coffee shop. I love neighborhood coffee shops by the way! I ordered the traditional macchiato, which is an 8 oz cup of goodness! Its much stronger than a commercial macchiato because there is less sugars & syrup, but you still get the caramel flavor and frothy top! Well done Walnut & Park...I will be back! Plus the atmosphere is very pleasant!

Such a great little cafe for homework and a good cup of coffee. Food is also very good! Clean, quiet, and perfect for a few hours to get caught up on work.

Very clean, friendly place with good coffee and (unsurprisingly, as this is Michigan) horrible pathetic bagels. The rest of the pasties and food looked really good though. Nice patio if the wewther is good, inside was comfy, clean, and seems like a good place to relax and have a cup of coffee and a snack. Definitely will be back (but not for a bagel).

Cozy little spot for studying. Had a delicious Chai latte, not too sweet with a subtle spice. Didnt try any of the food, but the service and atmosphere were great.

Excellent spot. Staff are friendly and helpful. Facilities are clean. Drinks are appropriately priced for the quality. My one critique: the scones are dry and they should be warmed back up by default when you buy one.

Gosh I love this place. I’m a grad student living in the neighborhood and this coffee shop is my go to. My drink is always great and the staff is AMAZING especially the manager, such great leadership. Can’t wait to enjoy it this summer.

Walnut & Park Cafe, situated at the corner of Walnut and Park streets, doesnt really look like much on the outside. However, its a great little cafe. The food and drinks are very good. My family and I keep coming back to get coffee, sippers, sandwiches, and much more. Service has almost always been great, and its always at least good.I highly recommend coming here if youre in town and craving coffee or a panini or something.

Came here as an end to our vacation before we made our way home- the drinks are delicious, the service was awesome, and it was very clean!

Locally owned coffee shop that supports a good cause. Wide variety of food and drink options, more so than other coffee shops. Great atmosphere that is good for all ages, with a separate meeting room if you want to bring work associates and meet.

So this may not be the best coffee shop ever, but the coffee is really good and they have a great social justice mission. They train and develop nonviolent criminals as an alternative to incarceration. Baked goods and breakfast sandwiches were really good. The place is super clean and well organized. Go here to get good coffee and support their mission!

I always enjoy this lovely place. Great service, coffee and food. Nice to sit outside in warmer weather. Also a good selection of tasty baked goods both savory and sweet. Soups and sandwiches change daily and there are many good choices.

I live a few blocks south of this location in Vine and I appreciate the addition to the neighborhood. I think it’s a great concept and I like that they have a meeting room that can be reserved. Staff is always very friendly and helpful. Service is a bit uneven at times but that’s sort of the point with the service training, etc. Would recommend people to check them out.

What an awesome addition to the downtown Kalamazoo community. Great environment to work or meet clients. Coffee selection is second to none, and the best surprise was the food options. Theyve partnered with the KVCC culinary institute so no frozen and reheated garbage like you find at most coffee joints.If you love coffee then this is the place to go. Plenty of power outlets for those who enjoy working remotely. Water Street coffee PLUS from what they told me, theyll have a rotating pour over selection.My new morning work spot, and now just waiting for some warm weather to enjoy the huge outdoor patio.You wont be disappointed.NOTE: I went on the 3rd day they were open so service is still getting in to the groove of things. Once thats all figured out Id give them a 5:5 stars.

Lattes are great. The muffins and scones are good, but limited supply. They need to make sure there is ample food in stock throughout the day.

Ordered their lunch combo and I chose the tomato bisque soup and extreme grilled cheese panini.... It was excellent and the perfect portion size. I also appreciated the fact that they have a water container with reusable cups instead of disposable items which create more waste! Will visit again. Good job!

This is a great place! They serve water street coffee joint both coffee and tea (i love their tea).They always have a good selection of sandwiches, soups, and salads (nothing fancy - grab and go food), along with yummy pastries.You can sit outside or in, or take the food with you.

Makes most of the right moves, but somehow I didnt completely warm to it. Fake wood floor, beautiful real wood ceiling. Two stories high. Lots of light from windows (but not the annoying full length ones). Ten or so tables (though several were taken by a group with reservations) and a short bar. Free wi-fi with posted password (though they need to mention which network). Plenty of outlets. A bit of over the top friendliness from barristas. Decent selection of loose leaf teas. They have a decaf loose leaf chai. Served in small cups, but you can get refills on hot water. Good selection of breakfast things, though premade so you cant ask for something to be left out. Homebaked pastries, but not to my style - mostly scones and muffins.

The mission of this place is important to our community and to the people working there. The lattes are always perfectly made and the pastries are outstandibg and a great value. Be sure to try the heated ham, cheese and chive scone It has become my go to place and for good reason.

Its cute and clean. However, it look them a long time to make my latte and once I got down the road I realized that they forgot to put flavoring in it. Its frustrating to not get what I ordered. I will likely try them again and will update the review then. They have food and a nice seating area. It looks like they have an area for outside seating for the summer.

Sweet little cafe, in a quiet setting. Good food, clean, bright environment. I felt quite comfortable sitting by myself, enjoying the crustless quiche and coffee, amidst the other diners. Pleasant and tasty. Prices were ok.

Stopped by for coffee during a break from visiting at the hospital. Friendly staff, calm environment, yummy coffee to go in a variety of roasts. Free off street parking.

This is one of the only places I go for coffee in Kzoo. Such an awesome backstory and purpose to this shop on top of great food and drinks. The service is hit or miss, but knowing that this is such a big step in a different or new direction in the staff’s life and purpose makes up for it. I’ve noticed that if service is a “miss” that day, as a customer being extra nice and using a big ol please and thank you visibly improves their service! Kindness goes a long way on both sides.

Willing to give it another try but the drink I got my first time was horrible. Someone was bring very mean to the bus boy too. Could have been the owner but unsure really.
