Mark did a superb job of restoring my parents spinet desk from about the 1930s. If I didnt have pics of the before and after, I wouldnt believe how stunning the desk looks now compared to what it was. His attention to detail (down to every screw and hinge) was impossible to ignore. As he said to me when I picked it up, I kindof got carried away. May he always get so carried away when he works on your piece.
Mark is not a laborer, he is an artist. His work is impeccable and he does not charge what he is worth. He does have trouble keeping on schedule and he doesnt always get back to you. If you have a piece you love and you want it beautifully restored and you have patience, Mark is your go to guy. If you just need a basic item done, you are cheap and in a hurry, try someone else. I have pieces that Mark designed and pieces he restored and they are treasures to me and my family.
Mark does good work but at his best is unreliable and slow. He made and missed multiple appointments and quit returning calls. The work he did do when he got around to doing it was good and reasonable priced. I always paid his asking price without dickering.
Does not return calls. Unbelievable unreliable.
He is open for business.
