Out family went shopping here on the first weekend in West Bottoms. We found some neat finds to add to our collections. We only had a few hours to shop before we had to hit the road. We hope to go back on another first weekend! All the shops were great. We also ate at a one of food trucks in West Bottoms. Yum!
Its an eclectic collection of antiques, recovered items and art but not really any different than 100 similar places.
What a neat place! Filled to the brim with odds and ends, this building is a maze of creativity from top to bottom. We chose to ride in the nifty freight elevator to the 3rd floor and worked our way down. An artsy gal like me can get inspired by the baubles and crafted things in here! If youre looking for a fun day out and you enjoy antiques and handmade things, give this place a chance!
I fell outside of this store because a chunk of cement is missing from the step. I ended up with a badly injured ankle and shin..A nurse from inside kindly helped me butwhen I emailed the store about the situation I heard nothing in reply. Bad form Bella Patina.. You ruined my long awaited vacation.
Great variety and reasonable prices. Friendly and helpful staff.
I love antique stores and the character and charm of these old buildings. But i also know that there can be a balance between character and cleanliness.Cons1. The poor air circulation will wreak havoc on your sinuses and allergies.2. Restrooms have had blood on the sink and toilet.3. Stairs are not safe to ascend or descend as they are too narrow and the tread width is too short. You can only get half of your foot on the tread if you dont have small feet, making descending even more challenging unless you turn to the side.4. Tripping hazards in the floor throughout the building. EX.. Patched floor boards. ( I HATE THESE.)Pros1. Knowledgeable staff that helped me with questions on an exquisite GE Lamp.2. Pie shop at the entrance.3. Provided masks to everyone who didnt have one during the early days of covid.4. Great family owned small restaurant on the top floor called the painted rooster.
So much to look at! And well laid out with a great flow.
We bought a beautiful, custom made stereo cabinet from Jake Allen in Bella Patina. Excellent craftsmanship and beautifully finished.
Vintage, upscale, one of a kind shopping and a wonderful café to feast in too.
3 floors of antiques as far as the eye can see. And some funny barbie placements.
Painted Rooster has really great food on third floor in Bella Patina
In love with this concept and this place! They have so much to offer and give these smaller businesses a place to have physical displays and reach new customers. LOVE!
Antiques are endless here! Lots of great vendors set up inside with their finds displayed over 4 stories. I could spend days here just walking around, rummaging through all the cool clothing and vintage furniture.
Love this place! It is always a must visit during first weekends. They have a variety of pieces for everyone from new to vintage. The staff is helpful but they allow you to shop in peace.
Probably not the best place to go until things calm down a bit. Gets a bit crowded.
Love, Love this place!!! So happy with my purchases!!
So many wonderful things to see.
HUGE selection. Fairly priced. At 3 levels, its pretty overwhelming so its better to come prepared with a game plan so as to not get swallowed up by all the options.
I did an online order and picked it up today and it was perfect. The staff is so friendly and the store is clean and arranged well.
I had never been down to this area of town before, but fell in love! It is only open first Friday weekends, though. There are so many hidden treasures throughout Bella Patina and the West Bottoms area. Its almost impossible to not buy something.
They have a bunch of awesome pieces, but its a lot to take in. I cant do all of the first weekend bottoms in one weekend. I so wish they were open every weekend, or every other weekend. Its such a great atmosphere!
So much awesome stuff. Find antiques and more to decorate your space. The store is bright and is usually busy. Tons of finds here.
Great store and staff. Good food on third floor but little high like everything else. Only open on certain days so youre shoulder to shoulder with other customers in some areas
Great people and service and a real cool place
This place is neat. I bought a few items here. If youre looking for a lot of farmhouse or distressed type home goods and furniture, this place is for you. The best time to check this store out is during first Friday or the weekend of first fridays.
Neat stuff, always closed even if google says open
Its my first stop on First Friday Weekends!😁😉 Love this place!
Cool place. Too much stuff to list.
Great selection of antiques, retro, and rustic. Friendly help.
Really cool vintage stuff. I bought a few small globes and like them a lot.
The food was good and the wait staff was attentive.
Awesome items on all 3 floors. Great friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful store to shop in.
Great site with antiques, home furnishings and a nice breakfast restaurant
Each floor had hidden gems plus yum restaurant up top. Friend found a gorgeous lamp tucked away marked 75% off, worth hunting.
Wide selection of eclectic items artfully arranged in an historic building. Friendly, helpful staff that enjoy their chosen work.
Always an amazing time. Great way to get out and walk on the weekend while seeing some fun and unique antique pieces in the East Bottoms.
This place is the best of all the shops in the West Bottoms. The General Store on the third floor is particularly cool.
Love this place. The people who run it are wonderful and the items for sale are to die for.
This is NOT your grandmas consignment store. High class and just really cool stuff!
Could get lost here for days and empty my wallet. Love this place!
Closed at 3.45 pm. reply to the owners comment, please fix the open hours on Google maps, it does not show that you are open on one week end. As we travel around on vacation we use Google to find new places to visit and shop.
A lot of randomness, and the coolest elevator!
Interesting collection of antique-chic, but very few items that were of great quality or rarity. Mostly knickknacks
Great Antique store. Excellent selection.
A magical Wonderland of everything vintage, retro, antique and repurposed. Do yourself a favor and check this place out you dont know what youre missing if youve never been there.
Fun antique store! Home to many local makers!
Unique things to see. Lots of great craft work.
Love the antiques of course, but the employees are always very nice.
I absolutely love this place. There is always something new to see!
My daddy owns the place.
There is a lot of variety of used and new goods. Bella Patina is better curated than most the stores in the West Bottoms, but it is also more expensive than most of them.
This place is beyond AMAZING! You must go here!
First Fridays is a busy time but always worth it
This place is super neat. The prices are fair and they have $2 coffee at the top!
Awesome inventory every month, great staff.
Great old finds!
Found some nice deals today
Such cute things!
They have so many antiques, and collectibles. We always take a look around when we go to First Fridays.
Shabby Chic at its best!
Cool place, lots of items.
Interesting things at ridiculously high prices
Great vendors, atmosphere, prices and selection !!!
So much to buy here its ridiculous
Not really my cup of tea. Seemed like mostly old junk, no real good finds, but maybe they rotate inventory quickly.
What fun!
Such an interesting selection!
Very cute store
Nice people
Great vintage joint
Love the Painted Rooster at Bella Patina
Groovy spot
It was great
