The team at KCAV provided an incredible setup for our last event at Veterans Community Project. They took the time to review our space and determine the best possible audio and projection solution. Roy even stopped by to make sure all was running smoothly before the event started. #salute

KCAV was amazing to work with and helpful in so many ways! We used them for 3 events this summer and they were so great to work with! The staff was so friendly and eager to help us with everything! Roy was more than happy to help with each event and made sure we have everything ready to go to make our events perfect! We will defiantly be using KCAV in the future for all of our audio and video needs!

Bobby made recommendations and Jerry support us in our efforts to obtain an additional piece of equipment due to a promo that has helped our school tremendously. I highly recommend KC Audio-Visual if you want the peace of mind during your event so you dont have to worry about the technical aspects and can rely on someone to be in control. Jerry and his staff were flexible and provided assistance with very little notice. I was appreciative that our job wasnt too small for them to handle with care and confidence.

My experience with KCAV, and especially their Technician Joe Bergen who was assigned to my case, has been nothing less than exceptional. The knowledge, patience, professionalism, along with the attention to detail and communication skills demonstrated deserves nothing less than a 5 Star Rating, and Im stubborn.I had a particularly challenging situation and the Staff, from top to bottom were of the highest caliber.I assume that I was assigned their best technician, and that really paid dividends for me and my Organization. Our Homes Association has used KCAV for rental of a PA system, which is a microphone and speaker set up. We have rented from them for the past 3 years and all the equipment is in great condition and works for what we need. Ordering is easy and they are located close by. We have rented equipment that needs corded power and we have rented speakers with battery power. Both work great. Recommend them for rental of AV equipment.

These guys make my life easier! Paul in rentals is a great guy and always takes excellent care of our companies needs. If you have a meeting and need to rent equipment go with KCAV you wont be disappointed.

Excellent work! Extremely professional! We had them come in over Christmas break and install 50 projectors at 4 schools. They worked extremely hard and had the project done in 2 days. The installs looked great. Tim Ryan was the sales person. He came out and visually inspected the job twice to make sure we had everything we needed and to help save money. On the installation day Tim again made the 2 hour trip and then helped load and unload all the equipment at the locations. One concern was the mess after installation (ceiling tile dust, boxes, old equipment) when I talked with the custodians they were amazed at how clean the rooms were and how tidy the boxes and old equipment had been placed. We will be using them again.

Fantastic very knowledgeable staff. Have purchased over 100 chrome books, 3 - D printers and smart boards and speakers. Dane and Alan were great to deal with!

I rented two speakers, a small mixer, and a few mics for an outdoor wedding. The two employees were easy to work with and attentive to the requirements of the wedding location. Im going back if another crazy friend wants a wedding half a mile for the nearest house!

KCAV went above and way beyond when installing the sound and video system in our new gym. It was a great pleasure on our end to work with a company and its employees that had our best interests in mind the whole time even though it may have been an inconvenience for them.KCAV definitely made us feel like we were the only customer they had.

The staff is courteous and responsive and great to work with. They met our special request affordably and with only a short notice.

They are responsive to my needs and respectful of my budget, while still providing quality products and solutions. Paul has also come to our aid on many occasions to provide much needed rental equipment for our live musical productions, most of the time with little or no advance notice. We hired Kansas City Audio-Visual to assist us with our audio-visual needs for our annual event in March of 2017. With hundreds of people in the audience, we had no room for error. I can’t say enough good things about KCAV. They set up sound and video equipment and operated it for us. Everything went off without a hitch. Sean and Paul were always responsive when helping to plan the event, and Sean was so great to work with the day of the event. Do not use this company. We had them onsite and spec out a system. We cut them a 12K PO and never heard a word from them over the last 2 months. There was no communication from them I had to follow up multiple times and only got we will get back to you shortly. I canceled my order.DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH KCAV!!!!

We took a projector to KCAV to see if it could be repaired. They charged $75 to evaluate and determine it could not be repaired but said they would apply the $75 toward the purchase of a new projector.Based on the projector we brought in, Randy Adler (KCAV President) specified and sold us a new projector. We rented the equipment (scissor lift) to install the projector, and we found the projector was specified incorrectly. It was much larger than the screen and could not be adjusted!Randy Adler said he would apply the cost the projector he incorrectly specified to the purchase of a different, more expensive one, but did not feel responsible in any way for getting it wrong the first time. Seriously ... he takes unprofessionalism to new heights. When talking with him, it was obvious that customer service means NOTHING to KCAV. He speaks about all of the big contracts they have with governments and school districts, but offers no responsibility for being incompetent. He feigns being insulted as a way of acting the victim rather than owning up to his mistakes. I was embarrassed for him.They have been in business for 60 years so you would think they must be doing something right. ...right? Well all I can say is there is no way they can be in business another 60 years with the way Adler does business.The only reason I did not give them zero stars is because the technician (Joe) KCAV sent to install the 2nd projector -- at OUR COST -- both labor and equipment rental (yes, that is right, they do not even have their own equipment) -- was a very experienced, professional. The second projector Randy sold us was also off the screen but only slightly -- the technician was able to make it work.We now warn everyone that will listen that KCAV should not be used for AV services and sales -- save yourself unnecessary expenses & grief and go with a company that is professional & customer focused.
