I was thoroughly thrilled to buy a complete A/C kits for my truck at such a good price. I was told that as long as i bought the kit it had a lifetime warranty, also, it needed to be installed by an ASE Tech. I bought the kit...i asked if i literally needed to hang on to my receipt for my entire life to get the warranty, the guy laughed and said No...youre in the system and if it ever breaks, call us and well look you up and deal with the warranty...well, the installer was an ASE CERTIFIED MASTER TECH with over 25 yrs experience. The system just blew a bearing out and my system is now full of metal shavings and needs to be completely replaced. I called and they said i needed the original invoice in order to get it taken care of under warranty. They offered ZERO help, they did NOT back up their product and in my opinion, their warranty is worthless. I still have the bag they gave me when i picked up my parts.
