I am trying to make amends to Jon from this business after forgetting something he told me during a recent repair. I crashed my Nissans front bumper and needed it replaced and Gerber was able to get my body work done in 2 days and the paint job was great. I unfortunately forgot Jons instructions for how to fill out the after-service survey and he didnt get the marks he probably should have gotten for his work because of that. Like Jon, I am a working man so I know how important it is to be seen as a good worker to keep your job and while Im sure Jon wont be fired or anything due to my filling out of the survey, it still didnt help him. Gerber did a good job and Id use them again, and next time Ill do the after-service survey correctly. I still feel terrible!
The lady at the reception is so amazing, loving your job always makes someone do things perfectly and thats what this super Lady does, good job Lady.
I had a flat and completely shredded tire the other day in the Quiktrip parking lot on Main St during the below 0 degree days we were having in KC. I called this shop to ask them if it was possible to help me get my spare tire on with their better lift and torque wrenches. They were happy to oblige, free of charge, and were a huge help getting me rolling again. The rims were basically glued onto the frame due to the extreme temps so I cannot imagine how much hassle they saved me being able to pull my truck into their garage and be able to use lift stands, etc. Highly recommend these guys on willingness to help out someone in the community during a time of need.
The lady who works at the front desk is one of nicest people you will ever find working a front desk. As for the collision repairs, my car’s rear bumper was returned to me looking brand new.

I had a little accident on my way to work one morning. Gerber collision took my vehicle in within an hour of the collision happening. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. They did excellent work in a short amount of time. I would highly recommend their services.

Gerber did a great job repairing my car that someone backed into. I highly recommend them. They were fast, called me and kept me up to date, handled all the paperwork and let me leave the rental car there so I didnt even have to make an extra trip. Just drove off with my beautifully repaired, freshly washed and cleaned car.

These guys are amazing! I happened to stop by as they were getting ready to close for the day. I asked if I could get a quick estimate on a dent I had. They went above and beyond on helping me out right away. Some I’ve the best customer service I’ve ever recieved!

This was my first experience with Gerber Collision & Glass. I was referred to them by a family member that said Josh Reidel can fix my oops that happened to my truck. He does amazing things to make your truck look good again. I wasn’t sure it could be repaired with out getting a new rear quarter panel. Both Jeremy and Josh said... Josh can fix that no problem!When I picked up my truck it looked Amazing!!!!The staff ...from Jeremy (who gave me the estimate and twice a week updates) and the front desk were extremely friendly and my truck looked brand new!!!Josh Reidel does OUTSTANDING work!The curves that had been crushed were fixed perfectly! I must say...my truck has a lot of curves and bends. I can’t say Thank You enough for taking such good care of my truck and making it look great again!!I recommend using Gerber Collision and Glass for all collision repairs!!!
I was nearly through our 3.5 week road trip when we lost the AC in my car. My son, myself and our dog endured extreme heat (100-104) through Oregon, Idaho & Utah before I contacted Gerber. A shop in another town had the part overnighted to Brandon in Kansas City, to complete the work. Unfortunately, the wrong part was ordered by the first shop.***But that didn’t stop Brandon from doing everything in his power to help us. It took his experience, determination and some creativity to find a way to get us home in a cool car. He went above and beyond, staying well after closing just to help us.If you need the services of a collision center, you cannot, will not go wrong with Brandon and his team.
The receptionist is very unprofessional and doesn’t know how to talk politely to the customers. She is rude and headstrong and doesn’t want to take any appointments for a week.
My honda civics fuel door would not open. So, first I took my car to a place half a block from where I live, they quoted $235.27 ($56.21 parts + $170 labor + taxes). I ask them if there was temporary fix or another cheaper alternative. They said there was none reasonable except breaking the door and keeping it that way. So, I took my car to Gerber. Initially, I called around, and someone suggested me Gerber. First, I talked to someone at Gerber on phone who said they would have to take a look. So, I took my car there. Brandon, the General Manager (a very cool general manager) took a look and told me that the cable was broken and gave me an alternative. Quick fix but does the job perfectly. He also gave me a plier. (No he did not break the fuel door - breaking the door and leaving it broken was suggested as an alternative by the previous place) Best part: everything for free. FREE. Bradon, you have no idea how much you have helped me. A perfect example of mid-west hospitality. Thank you so much. I highly recommend this place. Honest people with the best suggestions. (I am not naming the other place but I have their estimate. This other place has a way better google review and that is making me upset now.) I hope I never have to take my car to any place (which ofcourse is not possible), but if I have to do otherwise, this will be the first place I will go to.
Great attention to detail.
Our insurance company recommended Gerber. The speed of the repair was great. Then were started having issues after getting the vehicle back. Called and talked to Harry who was handling the claim. Explained the car overheated and it was half a gallon low of coolant. He proceeded to tell me how they didnt do anything wrong and it must be another issue. Took the car back to them for them to say it was just fine. The vehicle overheated again yesterday. Had it taken to another insurance recommend shop who found the issues Gerber did but couldnt fix when we took it back. Worst part was it was an easy find. They ruined an electrical connection on a part they installed. Never once would they say they could of missed something or take any blame. Harry was dismissive and acted like I was ignorant. Do yourself a favor and dont go through the headache of dealing with them.

I would have to say from the time I got my Estimate to dropping our car off and picking it back up. Was excellent service. SARA at the front desk is an awesome and sweet lady to deal with they definitely earned our businesss if we ever get in a accident again which will hopefully be not soon. Sara was very friendly from when I walked in the door because that’s where the insurance company referred us so we went with it. She was very kind and sweet to my son also. I will have to say that lady Sara needs to be Recognized I’ve been having bad service lately everywhere else. And when I have good service like I had here makes me a happy person. ❤️ Thank you Sara 😍
I had some issues with them prior to this but with new management they are turned around and are fixing the problem and renting me a car for my troubles. I really appreciate how they worked with me.
What a waste of time! Drove a half hour to gather my possessions from my vehicle... three separate times. First two times my vehicle was locked inside their facility even though they said they would make sure it was outside so I could get to it after hours. Side note, their hours are terrible. I was told they only had two vehicles of the make and model of my vehicle and that they were both outside. Well that was wrong, I located my vehicle inside the second night I drove there - they dont even know what vehicles they have possession of. Then to top it off, when I went to get my license plate as instructed by my insurance company, I was told they sent my car to a salvage yard for storage. But I wasnt notified by anyone. And they even told me multiple times they cant and wont release my vehicle without my permission. Well that was a lie - because that is exactly what they did. I dont recommend taking your vehicle there for anything whatsoever. They are literally a waste of time and money!Update: My wife received a message from some market manager who only gave excuses even though Im sure he has no knowledge of what happened outside of this review. He did not ask for a call back or give any mention of wanting to further discuss what happened (even though the businesss response says otherwise). So no, I will not put down my phone number or email for everyone to see. If you want to be in contact with me over this matter, reach out to the location manager and get my information from his records, because yes, I know he does.
My car was vandalized a few weeks ago, with both of my side views damaged as well as my tail lights. Carstar not only fixed the damage perfectly and gave me great customer service, but they vacuumed my car and cleaned my windows as well.It was a nice touch and a welcome surprise that I appreciate very much. Ill definitely be using this shop for any of my auto body needs in the future.
Really great service! Comparable price (actually lowest estimate Id received). Nice, clean office, friendly staff. It took a little longer than Id hoped to be completed, but I was incredibly happy with the job they did. I was communicated with all the way through the process. I had banged up my rear bumper pretty badly and the whole thing had to be replaced. The paint was matched perfectly. I am very pleased with my experience!

Do not come here, I had an accident in my car and my insurer recommended this place so I took it there. After a month and a half they finally called me to pick my car up but it still had issues with the steering so I took it back to them and got it back again and the same issue was still not resolved so I called my insurer to tell them I needed to reopen my claim because my car was still acting up. My insurer called this place to verify the story with them because this shop told me I should take my car to the dealer to get it fixed and they verified it but then told my insurer that my steering issues had nothing to do with the accident when my car was perfectly fine before the wreck, I had the accident on the left side and my only issue is when I turn left. So at the end of the day not only are they incompetent of doing their job but they also lack integrity and are causing me to have to jump through more hoops to fix my car
I have to agree with the general reviews of this placeSTAY AWAY. The work is NOT fully performed and the policies about reviewing the car are made to hook you up. The American Family insurance should remove this place from their recommendation list. The did not open the hood claiming they had to have the car inside. So I had to make an appointment and go back. This being the 3rd time I gave up, and left the car to this place. Another shop opened the hood for me and I noticed that a piece supporting the radiator was out of place due to the hit. When I got the car back, they did not even noticed it (of course is the first thing I checked). They brought the car in and manually fixed it in 5 minutes. It means they did not even take the time to investigate it. Moreover, after replacing the front bumper, they re-attached the original bottom plastic, which was wearing off. 1 month later it came down on the highway scratching all my front left tire. Rude, negligent, and could not care less about your safety, you, or your car.

I will say that they did good work BUT the customer service at this location is horrible. I interacted with 4 different employees throughout my car repair process and not one could be described as friendly. The receptionist/front desk girl at the end took the cake though. I asked about something that hadnt been corrected on my car yet was covered in my estimate, she went from fine to overtly RUDE in no time at all. Although they did fix the issue, they tried to act like i was being completely ridiculous for bringing it up. Sure the work was good but if you can go somewhere with better CS skills do it.
Had an excellent experience here, quick to respond, came in under estimate. Work was quality and they took the time to top off my fluids and vacuum my car!
