Own a older Workhorse food truck that used to be a FedEx truck. We were having transmission problems that even a transmission shop could not sort out. Brought it to Westfall and dealt with Jaron who was great. We were in a pinch and were cancelling events everyday the truck was down. Jaron was thorough in his communication and held up to all of the promises he made. If you want a shop that has incredible customer service and great techs working on trucks this is the place to go.
My wife and I were 100% satisfied with our experience at Westfall GMC. Mr. Glenn Jones is probably the best salesperson that we have dealt with on a vehicle purchase in the last 20 years. He was extremely knowledgable about all the products that we discussed and most importantly he listened to our needs before trying to suggest new vehicles. I took a GMC Terrain there because it was leaking oil. They told me to leave it there because they were a little bit busy which I understand. I went out of town, received a call from them stating that there was a big hole underneath the motor and in order to fix it, I would have to replace the motor. They told me it would cost me around 9000 dollars to replace it and o said no to them . I went there to pick up my car, paid 98 dollars because they said they checked the car which I doubt. And to make the matter worse, the Mecanic offered me 500 dollars for my almost brand new car. Outrageous.

Didnt have parts needed to repair my truck but when they arrived, I returned to have truck repaired in a few hours. Service contact was friendly, and helpful and helped me choose some add-ons for my truck.

Great sales people who are friendly and professional. Just make sure you have a mechanic do a very thorough job of checking out a truck from this place before you buy. I bought a truck and was told that it was mechanically sound and found that the people who were supposed to be keeping up with fixing the truck due to the fact that it was a lease truck just took a lot of short cuts. I only had the truck for 3 months and had to dump 16k on engine and ishift transmission issues. Thats not Including the radiator and the air compressor that were both bad. Maybe stay away from volvo and get a KW with a manual transmission. Good luck.

Took my truck to another GMC dealership that was not as experienced with Diesel engines and had a very high priced estimate. Then took my GMC Sierra Denali HD to Westfall GMC and their estimate was a 1/3 of the original estimate. When I went to pick up my truck it was even an additional $200 less than the estimate. Called on a Friday night and Dustin was extremely helpful. He helped estimate the labor, scheduled a windshield tech for the morning and transferred me to parts to estimate the costs there.We walked in Saturday morning, confident, knowing already approximately what we were spending. There were no surprises. Lane Thornhill made the extra effort to look for the MVP premier account we are associated with due to whom we lease with, which dropped our parts price almost another $50 dollars. He also took care of a scheduling issue, efficiently, with NO issues.Lane and Mark were kind, efficient and our knowledgeable tech handled our windshield quickly and safely. All said and done the service was completed long before our next pick up in Independence, MO so we had plenty of time for breakfast and to arrive on time.We were EXTREMELY impressed with their professionalism from the lovely young man from England in parts Friday night, to Dustin in service Friday night to Lane Thornhill, Mark and our windshield tech on Saturday. Everyone treated us and our two bully dogs with a ton of respect and kindness.Anytime we are in the area and need service we will be back. As a matter of fact, because of their service and the sheer amount of parts they keep in stock and their convenient 24 hour schedule for the majority of the week, wed deadhead here for service.We recommend with Zero reservations.
I use Westfalls parts department almost every day of the week to keep our fleet of Mack tractors up and running. I deal mainly with Mike Thomas because he goes above and beyond to help me get what I need, and hes a genuinely nice and compassionate guy. Ive dealt with a lot of parts guys in my 10 years of fleet maintenance and Mike is by far my favorite. I highly recommend this dealership.
The best experience I ever had with purchasing a new car and I have purchased a few in my 72 years. I would recommend them to anyone in the market for a new car. They dont confuse your purchase with a lot of options etc. They make it as simple as going to the grocery store and getting some milk and bread.

I’ve never even heard of these ppl until today. Not really sure how to file a complaint but I did make a call. One of their drivers in a utility van that says Westfall GMC almost ran me off the road. I’m not the best driver in the world but you have to do better. I am a small fleet owner. One of my trucks had DPF issues, he come in Saturday and truck was done the same day and we can keep rolling. Mark really makes the different, he was nice, very helpful and explained everything what was going on. Price was a little higher as I expected, but we always think is gonna be less :). As now this is the best Volvo repair shop I deal with . Thank you guys.
I’m sorry but there has got to be some accountability on what a mechanic accomplished in a shift. I came here for a 2 hour brake job and ended up being here for 2 1/2 days. Every time I went to see what was being done on my truck the mechanic was laying on his kreeper watching videos on YouTube. And when he wasn’t doing that he completely disappeared. It wasn’t just him it was the entire shop. Everybody was just standing around doing nothing.I did see one person working and he was cleaning the floor so I thought I would ask him if he knew anything about brakes being he was the only one actually doing any work. For a huge as a dealership this is you would think they would have it together. I guess they can afford to have such a nice property by overcharging for everything they do.WhiAlso, if they expect you to be there for days at a time it would be nice to at least have a decent drivers lounge. Filthy, no a/c and furniture looks like it came from a dump.Never again.
Talked to Kent on the phone. He promptly got all needs addressed with shelving, financing and pick up. Dont know if anything could have gone better.
I had some issues on a repair that was created by Volvo not Westfall. Mark, the service writer, listened understood and offered a resolution I could live with. 100% Satisfaction with Mark.

Ive had good luck at the volvo shop and have had few bad visits there also. Every time I have taking a problem to Chad he has always went out of his way to try and fix the problem and make me happy. Went to this dealer on a Saturday, they were somewhat short staffed and were set to close at 1:00. I got a great deal on the truck, they did not have a detail guy on staff, so my salesman David Gore went the extra mile and cleaned the truck inside and out himself. My bank was supposed to be ready for my call, after waiting an hour for my bank I went with Westfall and they got me financed right away. By the time the deal was done it was after 2:00 and I took delivery that day. Big thanks to the guys at Westfall for making my familys weekend by making the deal happen that day! Would highly recommend this dealer, has a small town feeling to it, no high pressure sales, would definitely do business there again.

I just wanted to take the time and leave a review about my experience with Westfall. Ive been on the fence with purchasing a cargo van for years now. I couldnt decided to go with used or new, and the whole time I was playing email tag with David Gore. Not one time did I ever feel pressured to buy or feel as though I was getting on his nerves. Never happy. Truckers area to wait is dirty & poorly appointed. Its a huge dealer & been to much nicer dealerships that were much smaller. Always feel like they dont care & the techs are not knowledgeable. Like theyre so busy, & big that they dont have to care, so they dont.
Trucker’s area was very dirty and they don’t even have a bottle of water to offer, even charging $150.00 p/h.Service is very good and Mark explained all the detail on what was done to my truck and what else has to be done.Thanks.

.I had a work truck towed there on a Friday and as of Wednesday (the following week) they still hadnt even looked at my truck. When I asked why it wasnt even looked at they basically said that they would get to it when they could. Horrible and costly for my business......They called me back to explain the situation after seeing my 1 Star review...They took care of me and made it right with no problems.
This would have been the second time I have brought my Isuzu truck in for service here and I am very pleased with Westfall’s ability to get me in last minute due to my schedule. Most importantly I am super thankful for Jaron Harden, the service advisor, who got my truck in and stayed 15 minutes after closing so I could pick it up before my 4am delivery’s the next day. Jaron also took the time to fill me in on different service procedures I was unaware of and after all that he even helped me load my motorcycle into the back of my truck so I could take both vehicles home. People like him do a lot to change the way we see potentially shady service members and honestly help restore my faith in humanity. Thanks Westfall GMC, and thank you Jaron!

They can usually at least look at your truck in a hour. Diagnostic ability leaves a little to be desired but overall I trust my truck will be taken care of the right way.
Purchased multiple vehicles from Westfall GMC always a very nice experience.
Extremely rude staff, went ahead without authorization from the owner for repairs even though contact info was CLEARLY provided on the check-in form. After waiting a day and a half they were putting other jobs in front of mine that had just arrived. They didnt address the cause of the problem I brought it in for and 50 miles down road realized they had caused 3 other more serious problems than what Id brought it to them for. All inactive codes were cleared thereby making it difficult for any other shop to accurately diagnose the problem. Also had no idea about mechanics requirements on standard DOT PTI form, and at first refused to sign. They were also looking at repairs that were previously done at that location and had no record that their shop had done the work. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
I bought a 2000 International 5500i from them May in 2017. If I could give them negative stars I would. After going back and forward with the original sales rep I decided to drive 3.5 hours to visit. I told the sales rep I wouldnt negotiate if they fixed all that was wrong with the truck. He agreed. I went home and sent the deposit.During our talks I gave them a week to fix all of the errors. I also informed the sales rep about the noise I heard going from low side(4th gear) to the high side(5th gear). He stated it was how I was shifting. He stated that because he knew I had only purchased automatics before.Upon arrival to pick up my truck none of the repairs were completed. They scrambled to get things done. I will just list a few of the issues:1. Malfunctioning Air brake2. Bulging side tire wall3. Transmission needed to be synchronized (roaring noise)4. Cracked mirrors5. Incorrect DOT inspection stickerWhen confronted the Sales Manager Larry backtracked and continued to lie. Once I got the truck home and got a real dot inspection we found the rear end was going out and the transmission had to be synched.I reached out to the dealership and asked them to split the cost with me. The sales person said that sounded reasonable especially since I paid full price for the vehicle. He said the manager would have to ha ndle that issue. Of course Larry did nothing. To rub salt in the wound I tracked down the seller and found out what they gave him on the trade in...All I can say is businesses should make a profit. I own my own business; however, how Westfall GMC Truck, Inc operates would be considered a crime in my line of work. I would be stripped of my licenses and fined if I mimicked their behavior. Lastly, stay clear of this dealership.

Unless you want to spend money for nothing. Take your truck here only for emergency. They were charging me $630 to replace a leaking coolant hose with two crumps.Total parts cost, $60. To replace it take only 1/2 hr. The cost is unreasonable and exaggerated. Plse ask for estimate or you get a shock of your life
I was under a load my truck was not running right so I went to Westfall in K C and Mark got me in and fixed my truck late Saturday evening and got me on the road again.l have nothing but good things to say about this place.Thank you!
Good people but they are expensive. $150 an hour labour and their is no break on that for the independent owner operator who make the bulk of their business. Go there if you have no other alternative.

The dealership did an inspection on the truck found an air leak and fuel leak did not mention of it till I went to pick up the truck. Considering fuel leak can cause fire this is something that should have been mentioned on the phone call and repaired instead of waiting for pick up time to bring it up.They fixed an air leak on the dash but the truck is still leaking air on the dash .They convinced me to return the truck charged me extra $262 but the truck is still leaking airOne of the managers confirmed he could hear the leak and offered to have Chad the one incharge of service to call me because he was on lunch at that time but never heard from him.The price is also over priced. Replacing TRS and SRS sensors came to over $1000 . Most shops I have called have quoted me around $500 considering the parts are about $75 per sensor.Only use the shop if you have no alternative
I would like to leave a review for the Westfall Volvo Parts Departments Manager Kelly Mayfield.I would like to Thank Kelly Mayfield he saved me a lot of time from the problems other places caused me. Recently my truck 2017 Volvo VAH630 was in a minor accident. My insurance company moved it to nearby by bodyshop in Kansas City. And Westfall is their #1 source for Volvo parts.The bodyshop had got all the parts except 2 parts. In order to start putting the truck back together those both parts were required. It had been 20 days they couldnt get the parts. I was calling the bodyshop and Westfall checking the status of the part everyday. Unfortunately the only thing they were telling me was it has been placed its on a national back order. But that was not the case. It was a part that had two different part numbers. One never ships out it shows it is out of stock. But the other one part number they had in stock in Byhalia MS. They had 8 of them in stock I believe. The Counter people were telling me they cant help me since it is on a national back order they literally told me to leave. Then I asked for the manager thats where Kelly came in. He looked into it and called Volvo and talked to them. They were telling them it should ship out today and it will arrive tomorrow but Kelly kept saying dont give me shoulds I want you to tell me it will ship out today for sure and it will arrive here tomorrow. And it did arrive the next day. They put the truck back together in 2 days Thanks to Kelly Mayfield. I cannot thank him enough for taking action and keeping his word. He even gave me his personal cell number to call him if I had any concerns.P.S.- When the parts arrived he called me at 8:30AM notified me that the parts have had arrived.Long story short Is it wasnt for Kelly I am sure my truck would have been sitting there for another 3 months. I cannot Thank Kelly enough for going above and beyond and for keeping his promise to me. Thank You!The counter people there should take a example of him and apply to all customers.
HorribleBrian salesguyI am from omaha called them to ask about a 2000 5500i international dumpi clearly as the guy if the truck would pass dot inspection he said yes also asked if truck leaks oil he said no and was at the truck looking at it in person i drove 2.5 hrs to get there salesguy now where to be found i kept him informed when i would be there finnally was able to drive the truck parked the truck on there concrete lot seen oil pouring out from under the engine still put offer on the truck then sales guy brain said we have a problem someles had put a deposit on the truck think was sales pitch told him im a cash buyer and offered on the truck in the condition it was in leaking oil sales guy tells me truck priced to sell and never offered to fix leak think was rear main seal he said truck will sell fast i passed on there truck over priced due to major oil leak i llooked on there web site funny truck still for sale 45 days later truck apparently was not priced to sell sure still has oil leak so they can try to screw someone just stayaway from the westfalls they lie about the condition of there used trucks to get u in brian seen more concerned about his home think he was speaking with the bank on his cell phone in front of me shame on westfalls bussiness ethics as i have been in bussiness for 20 years and have a fleet of 12 trucks
Parts staff are awesome. Shop replaced 2 EGR coolant pipes. And also 1 idler fan belt While I had an extremely quick repairtime..but .Paid $1400 for the repair..partly due to an $88 shop suppy charge...management applies an extremely high shopsupply fee. Based on percentage of your bill. No choice. I Had to have them fix....Had no turbo.Not able to build turbo pressure from broke pipe. If having routine maintenance completed.... it will be too expensive....
The only place you will see person of color is the customer side of the counter at all of this companies dealers in every department.
