They fixed the sunroof drain issue on my 2003 MINI Cooper while I waited for a very reasonable price. So nice to find a pleasant shop that knows MINI maintenance and repair. Ill be back.
Great shop. Very skilled in the diagnosis and repair of a seat motor issue.
Outstanding work on my 2010 GLK 350. Running LIKE brand NEW!! 😀
After years of setting money on fire at Baron and South KC service, Hafkemeyer was a great experience! I have a 2013 BMW X5 that I brought in with a Christmas tree of service lights on. My goal was to spend the minimum needed to squeeze a couple more years out of my vehicle. Casey was awesome! He took the time to walk me through the options and prioritize only the minimum service required to keep me up and running. It was more like getting advice from a friend vs. the total hose job I am used to at the dealer. Very transparent and fair process. Could not recommend them more. Ill be back for sure!
Amazing place. Got my BMW running like a dream! Cant go nowhere else now haha
Great customer service, very professional and informed. I felt very confident in taking my Mini here after talking to Casey on the phone.Casey and his team were amazing with my Mini. I took it in because I heard a loud rattling under the hood. After they diagnosed the problem they called me to give me all the details of what was wrong and how they were going to fix it.The day after I took my Mini home Casey called to follow up and make sure the problem had gone away. Thank you so much!
EXCELLENT knowledge and service. Second to none.
Awesome mechanics and service. Andvery affordable
Very good experience. Professional environment. Casey is a keeper.
I wouldnt take my car anywhere else! Everyone I have interacted with is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Before they start any work they will give you a call letting you know what all needs to be done and give you a quote. They are super good at explaining what needs to be done and will let you know what work is needed and what you can hold off on. I am a female in my 20s, so at most shops I typically get screwed and told I need more work than I really do and then charged a ton extra. I have never had this problem here and know I can trust the team. They charge a great price and the work is top notch! When I first got my car I took it to the dealership since I was nervous about anyone else working on it...the dealership definitely isnt the cheapest option and the work I have had done there hasnt always been the best. If I have a problem and take it to Hafkemeyer, I know it will be fixed right. Highly recommend! Thank you guys for everything! :)
Fast service, very fair price, high quality work, and you can instantly tell these guys Live German Autos. I wouldnt look any further for the best shop in the state.
I really enjoyed my experience at Hafkemeyer. The guy was super helpful and friendly. They got all the work done within one day, and gave me a loaner car. With every quote they provide it includes all taxes and fees, so you are never surprised when you get the bill. Looking forward to coming back here for more service on my 2002 530i.
Wonderful shop. The best experience I’ve had with a mechanic. I had issues with my BMW while driving through KC... really happy I chose them over another shop.
Nothing bad to say about them. They did good work at a fair price and had a loaner available. Highly recommend them
Super knowledgeable and very fair priced. Please do not take your car to the dealer, go here instead
Fantastic Shop for BMW Mercedes-Benz & Mini Repair! They’ve worked on my vehicle several times. From an oil change to a full engine-out service, Hafkemeyer can do it and for a fraction of what the local dealer was going to charge me. They also submitted a detailed report of my vehicles service to CarFax for its permanent record. I highly recommend this shop.
Always professional and reasonable.
If you own a Beemer and this is not your shop of choice then thats a huge mistake. They fix whats needed and no more. They have talked me out of more costly fixes. Who does that? I have the upmost respect for this place and the work they do. Im a picky person and I pass 5 different shops from Shawnee to Waldo, but I wont take my car anywhere else. Thanks guys, Im very happy driving my car today!!!
I have finally found a mechanic I can trust!! Hafkemeyer Motors treated me with the utmost respect. They took the time to explain what was going on with my BMW and what was needed to make it run the way I wanted. Andy went out of his way to make sure that I was happy with my repairs. My BMW is now running better than it did the first day I drove it! I would highly recommend them to anyone who is in need of a mechanic, you will certainly not be disappointed!! Honest, Trustworthy and Exceptional Quality!!
Casey and the team was great in explaining in detail the inspection on my vehicle after a shocking bill from Barron BMW. Their prices were very reasonable and helped me prioritize the work to match my budget. Along with that they helped with a loaner vehicle and worked with my schedule so I could pick my vehicle up after work. Will be coming back!
My mechanic “Rich” always keeps me car running and all future repairs needed. Thank you. The parts lady is beyond helpful and very kind. She knows her stuff. Thank you Karla.
Exceptional customer service. No nonsense or price haggling!
The guy working, I forget his name, is always a great conversation. They’ve been fair and perfect location
Great BMW service center to work with, very focused on customer satisfaction. Casey is extremely helpful. Highly recommended.
Definetly the best place to fix your car. People are gentle and professional.
After trying most import mechanics in the KC area, I can hands down say Hafkemeyer is the most thorough and reliable. Their professionalism is unparalleled and Casey ensures all of your questions get answered with detail and patience. I’ve used them for a variety of jobs and they recently saved me a tremendous amount of heartache in a pre-buy inspection.
I think this is one of best independent shops in the KC area to take your BMW. I handed them my pretty beat up 540 for an extensive list of repairs. The car now drives perfect and I couldnt have asked for better service. Casey is extremely professional to work with and is very open and honest with pricing. I will continue to use them for any future repairs to my BMWs
Great service and people!!
Hafkemeyer is under new ownership, but it was bought by employees who know, understand and appreciate the excellence Hafkemeyer has stood for, as well as the high standards for performance and comfort that are expected from the brands they serve. There may be cheaper alternatives, but Hafkemeyer is thorough and takes care in addressing the root of any mechanical problems - they do not simply apply band-aids. They are msgicians with older, unique models and will keep them running well for multi-six figure miles. You can depend on Hafkemeyer and should follow their advice.
Always exactly what is needed..no upselling just facts. Fast, accommodating and genuinely good people.
I went to Hafkemeyer Motors with a few issues with my 08 BMW. They were able to accurately diagnose all problems, provide an estimate lower than the few other shops I looked at, and complete everything that day while I cruised around in a loaner. They are very friendly and helpful regarding the condition of your car and what you can do to keep it running. Im looking forward to taking my car back for any future maintenance and check ups. I couldnt recommend them more.
I have been using dealerships for service for years until I discovered these guys, amazing service fantastic price, couldnt recommend more highly including for newer cars, ditch the dealers and go here if you have a Mercedes or BMW.
Just saw a gentleman driving a green bmw with their signage on the door, when asked about the company, he replied do you want me to bash your head in and go F*** yourself. Not sure what started the assault but will never take my BMW there for service. I am still in shock
Nobody likes getting that big estimate for a major car repair (or two), but import cars will be import cars, so its great to have an honest, independent mechanic like Hafkemeyer Motors to keep your car maintained.
They seem to know what theyre doing, and that is stealing your money and doubling the price of their goods and services.First of all they charge a flat rate instead of hours serviced for performing work on your vehicle. Meaning on your bill there is no indication of hours worked, their price also doesnt correlate whatsoever to how long it takes to work on your vehicle. My vehicle was in the shop for a maximum time of 5.5 hours. I was charged for 6 hours at $96 an hour labor. The mechanic took at the minimum an hour lunch break, so 4.5 hours of work MAXIMUM time spent. (It was realistically ~3 hours, as another customer was in the waiting area when I dropped my car off, with hers yet to be finished)Ive been here twice, giving them the benefit of the doubt the second time. When I attempted to dispute this outrageous bill, I was repeatedly made to feel like I couldnt comprehend the idea of a flat rate charge, as opposed to hours worked.I produced bills from a previous repair shop with the hours worked clearly stated down to the hundredth decimal space (.00) and that is where the wall of denial was promptly put up. He pointed out the cost of oil on my bill, stating that theres no way he paid that much for this oil!, while the same oil on their bill that day was $.42 more expensive. The only redeeming fact about this place is that they charge what they quote you. I was quoted an outrageous price to essentially do an engine oil change and spark plug replacement, of $1000. I foolishly assumed their labor worked like my previous repair shop, in that if it took less time to do the task, it would cost less. I was wrong, I was told that just because it didnt take the full 6 hours, doesnt mean the price changes, and they rightly should charge the price of a 6 hour job for one that took 3, because they are highly qualified with bmws. It was nonchalantly stated by an employee to me, that he asked the technician to hurry up because I was waiting in the lobby in person as opposed to dropping my car off. Are they working slower on purpose? This baffles me.I cannot recommend this business whatsoever to anyone, Understand that you are being charged More than the highest possible price for the service your vehicle requires, and are fully being taken advantage of. If you are somehow brainwashed into thinking that you Should be paying $1340 to replace your valve gasket cover with $720 of labor, simply because you drive an expensive car, wake up.
Expensive. But really great service and people that are honest and willing to diagnose a situation as what is the most important issue and what you could postpone. Really enjoyed my experience.
Been having my X5 serviced here for more than two years. Darn thing costs an arm and a leg to maintain, but I trust Hafkemeyer for an honest opinion and fair price.
I have used Baron, Autobahn Motorwerks and these guys. I will say, these guys will get my business from here on out. Baron is nice because of the new loaner cars, but apparently Hafkemeyer will loan you one of theirs if you need it. I recently had a growing coolant puddle underneath my 98 M3. Not too much of a surprise with the fragile cooling system in the E36 M3s. When I called Casey seemed to have social skills that a lot of independent shops seem to lack when conversing on the phone. He was able to get me in with in a day or two. On the day of the appointment he diagnosed the problem, and gave me a quote with in several hours of dropping the off the car. He said he had all of the OE (which is important to me) parts in stock and would be able to complete the job by the close of business. Further, he was able to answer my super nerdy questions, such as what is the replacement water pump impeller made of? Towards the end of the day he called and told me the fan clutch has also been determined to be bad, but it wasnt in the original quote. Some people might call this an up sell, or something like that, but I see it as them being thorough and trying to avoid future trips to the shop. Id much rather get it done all in one shot. Their prices werent amazing, but they are cheaper than the dealership. I will note, I am a car enthusiast and consider myself an educated consumer when it comes to automotive maintenance issues. The only reason I dont give them 5 stars: I got home with my nearly brand new cooling system (short of replacing the radiator), popped the hood to check out the handy work and notice there was coolant everywhere. At this point it was after 5:00PM, I called Casey, who requested I bring the car back ASAP for him to look at. He stayed after COB and waited for me to get there. He looked it over and took quite a bit of time cleaning everything up. He never really figured out exactly where the coolant came from. I assume the coolant was overfilled and once the engine temp came up it belched coolant everywhere. Regardless, after the clean up, the car has not leaked a drop.Since the cooling system repair, I have taken the car to one SCCA SOLO event and one track day at the Heartland Park road course. Four 20 minute track sessions, and the temperature gauge never budged off normal and still not a drop of a leak.
Casey was a true pro to work with
Great group of guys, good prices. Beats bring it to baron every time!
Fixed the Mini...4.75 stars!
Good service.
Fixed problem that was had.
