I was looking for a Giant road bike however they are hard to come by, but I found one for my size and color at Recyclist. I called as soon as they opened and talked to Laura (owner who was very nice) who said they still had it! She was will to hold it for me and I told her I was 99% buying it and would be there in a couple hours. When I walked in I met with Zeb (technician) who was awesome! He got the bike setup for me to ride ans after my test ride I told him I would buy it. He helped me get shoes, pedals and pointed me in the direction of other items but wasnt pushy on any of them. He then went over the entire bike for about 30 minutes and updated and worked the entire bike over. I was very impressed by that! I asked Zeb a couple questions along the way and he was always willing to stop working on the bike and come help. He was very talented, smart, knowledgeable, nice and amazing! It was a great great great experience and I will definitely going back!!! Laura and Zeb (and the rest of the staff) were the best!!!

4/18/2021: Owner was very friendly and a beautiful person inside and out. The bike mechanic that helped us out was also very knowledgeable and showed great attention to detail. Highly recommended all around.

Wow what a great place for coffee and a snack any time in there sunny coffee shop addition to this great bike shop on the CE bike trail. Yes you can ride your bike to get coffee here...I found lots of great new electric bikes for sale here too...so getting here would be no sweat...ay...

This is a great place to get work done on your bike. The owner/employees are very friendly and the service is quick and done right. There is also a cafe/ice cream shop where the kiddos can get some ice cream to cool off before heading out on the CE trail again. We always stop in this place when we ride.

What a difference a year makes! I had heard they lost their two best mechanics- but decided to be loyal- well the lack of experience definitely shows. Where I once felt confident taking my bike there, I feel no confidence now. So little in fact, that I stopped them from doing work in order to take it somewhere more qualified.Update 7/27 During one of their $200 half-hour tune ups I paid extra for new pedals to be installed, and cleats on my shoes. One apparently wasn’t tight- it came loose and I had one shoe locked into my pedals until I got home and could pry it off. Probably ruined my carbon shoes. Careless shop kids

After looking for awhile for a new bike I saw online that they had a Specialized Rockhopper. I arrived 5 minutes after they opened and they had one in a medium and a large. I was able to take both for test rides and decided on the large. They went through the entire bike, and were very helpful. I came back in a few days later and purchased a new stem that they put on to make my ride more comfortable. I highly recommend them and their friendly staff. I live in De Pere, and even though there are bike shops closer, will definitely go back here.

I just visited to buy my first good bike and was really impressed by the customer service. Earlier in the day I had gone to a bigger store and was ignored by the staff, so it was super refreshing to go to Recyclist. The staff was friendly and super knowledgable. The prices werent bad and they offered an accessory discount with my new bike. They had a good selection of bikes. Id definitely recommend checking them out! :)

I ordered a tire on 8/3/2019, and I finally received it on 9/6/2019. Complicating this was that the tire was not in stock and it had to be secured from the manufacturer. But the Recyclist did get it from the manufacturer and even told me when it was in their shop, and that they would expedite shipping to me. That would have been a 5-star experience. But they held onto the tire for two more weeks for some reason. I wasted a lot of time on the phone trying to find out what was happening, and I was amazed that i finally received it. Sometimes its not so good to go with the best price.

I needed a new wheel. It didnt get ordered. I have plenty of personal experience with failing to do something I was expected to do. Things happen. We all fail at times. They made it right with me. This is sincerely good customer service. Thank you Recyclist Bicycle Co.

Horrible on-line service. Ordered a pair of panniers to discover they wouldnt fit a small laptop. When I called multiple times and left multiple messages, I finally reached a real person. Very disappointed when she said were a small shop and dont support return shipping So, on a $53 purchase, I ended up paying $23 in return shipping. Then when checking my bank records for a credit to my account, no sign or call to refund my money after they received the product I shipped back. This type of poor business practice is what turns people to shop at Amazon ... I prefer to support small business ... but dont want to get burned in the process.

Stopped in to have my flat tire repaired. Not greeted, not acknowledged. Workers were discussing personal health issue. A worker came in with apparently his personal dog off leash - didnt say its ok hes friendly, didnt acknowledge me at all as his dog came up to me and smelled me. Waited quite some time before someone finally asked what I needed. Had a tube replaced. Told how much it was and paid. No - that will be $12 PLEASE. No THANK YOU. This was their 2nd chance as I stopped earlier this year while biking (about 3 weeks ago) and had horrible customer service from the 2 women sitting in the little windowed area by the trail door. Just got my bike back from having a tune up at a different local business that treated me respectfully and were appreciative of my business.

I had an incredible buying experience here! The entire staff, up to and including the owners were amazingly responsive and did a GREAT job listening to my needs and how I wanted to use the bike. I ended up with a perfect fit that wasnt even on my radar coming in. I couldnt be happier with the entire process and experience.Great people and great product...I cannot do enough to recommend this shop. Ill be back many, many times.

On May 6th, 2020 my boyfriend and I biked to The Recyclist sometime around 3pm. When we rolled up to the open doors in the back, we noticed a sign that detailed new store policies in regards to COVID19. The sign mentioned a limit of customers allowed in the store at once, so we waited (mind you, the only other customers in the store had left as we arrived). 5-10 minutes went by before we decided to speak up and ask if we could enter - as no employees acknowledged us, though we were in plain sight. A woman who appeared to be the manager called out “yes! Come in” We brought our bikes up to the service counter where we hoped to get the attention of an employee to assist us (we both needed repairs on our bikes). All four employees (including the manager) failed to even make eye contact with us, let alone acknowledge our existence. After a few minutes of awkward silence, we decided to leave as we just couldn’t bare a minute more of this painfully tense situation. I am deeply disappointed in the customer service we received today (or lack there of) and I will no longer be taking my business here.

Stopped in 25 minutes before closing tonite to see how long a tune up on a bike would take as my daughter needs to take it back to campus this weekend. The owner(I think) said bring it in and let me take a look....literally did a full tune up in 20 minutes!! So happy and thankful for the GREAT customer service! Now that she’s taking my good bike I may have to stop in and buy myself a new one!

I had a great experience here last Saturday. My wife and I recently purchased a couple used mountain bikes from Craigslist to ride together. We decided to bike to the Recyclist shop to have her shifters/derailleurs adjusted. We called ahead of time to make sure they would have time that day, and Alex was very helpful and informative. When we got there Alex promptly got the work done ($15 adjustment) and gave us some suggestions on other maintenance we could use. The shop has a nice lounge area with magazines and very comfy couches! Then, our way out, Shaun stopped us to mention he noticed my wifes seat was not adjusted well and offered to do it on the spot, we happily let him! I then mentioned to him that I wished my bike had a kickstand and he said he could put one on if we had another 10-15 minutes ($10, very sturdy). He also offered us some water and coffee. We appreciate Shauns drive to help and Alexs good work and courtesy on the phone and in person. Although the shop was busy that day, we received first class care.

Absolutely the best shop I have dealt with in my 30 years of riding. They ride so they understand. The shop staff is great (yep...looking at you Matt and TK!). They have a good selection and are willing to work with novices to experienced riders. I drive an hour and a half to deal with them.

Bought two bikes from them this spring and recently needed the brakes checked. Took the bikes on a ride down the CE trail and rode right up to their back door. They had us in and out in less than 10 minutes! Always friendly and never pushy. If you have to buy a bike this is the only place to stop. Great group of employees!!

An awesome local bike shop, under new ownership this year. They are experts at delivering great customer service. They went above and beyond the call of duty to match me up with a new road bike at an unbeatable price. They have great try before you buy and return policies, a wide selection of bikes and accessories, and friendly and knowledgeable staff. I visited and test-rode bikes at nearly every shop in the Valley and this one topped them all in terms of the way they treat their customers.

This is a nice, friendly bike shop. I bought a quality used bike for a really good price in February. I brought my wheel back 2 months later because I somehow broke 2 spokes on the rear wheel. They replaced them and only charged me for the parts.Even though its a bit out of the way for me, I will definitely keep coming back.

This is the place to go for all of your cycling needs. The staff is second to none. Theres nowhere else Id rather shop.

I bought a used bike here and they were very, very helpful. They even arranged to box and ship it for me. Good prices, and the location, on the local bike trail, lets you ride or drive in.Basically, unlike most bike shops, in my experience, these folks have no professional attitude. They dont care if youre a newb, a pro, or just a casual rider, theyre very nice.Recommended.

A fantastic bike shop, run by genuinely great folks. I bought a used bike--an old 90s Raleigh hybrid-- here years ago that served me well through three different cities. More recently, I was in the market for a nicer road bike, and the owners of the shop were friendly, informative, and generous; they helped me find something close to what I was looking for, and even let me take it out for a test ride all the way out to High Cliff and back. Though I didnt end up buying that bike, Ill make a point of always coming back here for accessories, parts and service when Im in the Fox Valley.

I bought this bike from there 1 year and a half ago for 450$, only rode a couple of times. Asked for a trade and they said that they would give me 70$ for it. What a joke, then asked for a shock and they charged me 130$ for a piece of junk shock with 63mm travel. Didnt even give a free tune up or suggestions. Not happy. Would suggest if you want to pay a lot for parts or a bike

Service was beyond awesome!! Loved the beginner tips and how they accomodate all skill levels. You can test drive the bikes on the trail right outside the building. Lora, the owner, was up front about costs and very helpful with finding the best bikes for my familys individual needs. She even helped secure our bikes to our bike rack! This business really values their customers. Totally worth the hour drive from Kewaunee. I look forward to referring people their way and returning myself for yearly servicing!

Got in a car accident with my bike. Brought it to them to get fixed. Said fix everything on it, they fixed the front rim and called it good. Brought it back to fix what they didnt the first time and when riding home noticed the back rim still warped and making noises. Horrible customer service from everyone except Laura. Id suggest going somewhere where else where they actually know how to fix a bike.

I have visited this establishment a couple more times recently and am happy to report that the service has improved.Very poor customer service. Went in the first time, they were slightly busy and it took a little while for anyone to even approach me. I got a couple of my questions answered. Went in again at a later point, they were slightly busy again but this time not a single person attempted to approach me to help. I think I stood and looked around for about 20 minutes so it wasnt like I only gave them a minute or two.

I had a few problems with my full suspension mountain bike. They needed to be fixed in a timely manner as it IS prime riding season, but I wasnt expecting the bike back for a few days. Not at Recyclist Bicycle Company!! I knew what parts I needed so I called to order them, and everything arrived well before I was promised. I brought the bike in and expected to leave it there and come back in a few days. I walked away and was checking out some shorts when the tech came over and asked me to try the bike. He was already done!! I was back shredding some local singletrack in an hour, and the bike was mint. Everything worked better than it had before. Im so relieved to have FINALLY found my go to shop. My wife ended up demo-ing a bike and they even let my 6 year old son help put the pedals on the demo bike. I tell everybody that rides that if they arent going to Recyclist, theyre missing out. The restaurant atmosphere was very nice. But the menu selection was very limited. My friend wanted ice and there wasnt any. She wanted ketsup and there was none. A bit high priced.

There cannot be a shop that has nicer people working at it, they sell good quality products and it was a good experience. Also, I checked their prices versus online and they are very competitive

I purchased an item from the online store. I received the wrong item. I returned the item within 3 days. Not only did I not receive my refund within the 21 days, I was also not refunded the shipping cost. I made several calls and sent several emails but never spoke to anyone. I had to call my credit card company to get a refund. They made the mistake but did nothing to fix it.Terrible customer service from a completely dishonest company. Buyer beware.

This is a great bike shop. There was a very nice and very knowledgable kid that told me everything about bicycles and bicycle indoor trainers. He made a couple of modifications to my bicyle very fast as well. I was impressed by the quality of his work and his customer service.The middle age lady could use some training in both bicycles and the job. For example, she didnt know how to find an item in the computer without the receipt and got very frustrated with me because of that. The other kid came and figured it out in a couple seconds. If she is one of the owners, maybe she should leave the employees talk to the customers while she cashiers. If she is an employee, maybe you should get someone younger that can learn new (technical) things.Overall, This shop is my first choice when I think of bicycles.
