Message in the phone says whole deer drop off 7 days a week 0700-2100. Get there at 830pm in a Saturday night and NO ONE! So what do we do? Are we supposed to make an appointment? HOW? No one answers the phone and now they are closed in Sunday. Not happy!!Got a response. Didn’t know it was self serve. Didn’t see anything suggesting that. Guess we’ll try again. Thank you.

Always love and appreciate Havent but today, wow!! I wanted something special for supper as family came to town, and again, wow! Boneless stuffed pork chops seasoned to perfection. I love this meat market. Such excellent options of all kinds of meats and pre made items. No matter if the line is 50 people long, they move through in such speed its like you were never in a line. I love their garlic summer sausage with cheese, they will slice it up for you if you ask. My favorite tho is the BBQ chicken stickers, sooooooooooo full of flavor and when done on the grill even better. Quality cuts of steaks and reasonably priced. I live 20 miles away and the drive is worth it compared to my local meat market.

We do not come here often. We need to replace our butcher that closed, Cedar Creek. We will be back. Haens has lots of friendly help. Service was great, the ladies all were helpful and friendly. I think we have found our new butcher shop!

Excellent choice of food and an excellent place to get your deer processed during hunting season. The summer sausage is excellent. I guess you could say its a really good bang for your buck lol

Anything you get here is the best I have gotten pizza, chicken, soup, cold meat and of course any red meat...the best! However when I get Sarah as the helper to cut the cold meat she always seems she is just not happy to be there. I gave her 2 chances to give me better service but just not into it. She is probably a good person just not sure if dealing with people is her gift.

Very disappointed with bringing my whitetail here for processing. Having lived in 3 locations over 35 years I have gone to different meat markets with my deer. Stangleville comes to mind as a good one or Pernats near Oconomowoc. Hahn is not a good one. The garlic summer is bland, and has little or no garlic flavor. The bacon is also similarly bland. The only item I will not donate are the cheddar brats that are good. To spend 500 dollars and get this back means Ill be buying summer sausage to replace it.

The heat and serve shredded turkey is to die for. Best jalapeño cheese hot sticks Ive ever had. I drive an hour one way just to pick that stuff up.

This is a great shop. They do an amazing job processing deer, and always have a wide selection of products to choose from.

Haens is the only place I will take my venison to have sausage and sticks made. They may be a little more expensive but not by much but you get what you pay for and Haens is well worth the extra cost. They have a pretty quick turnaround for getting your product back. The store is really clean and orderly and most employees are very helpful and friendly. You can tell a good quality place by their appearance and by how busy they always are. I had Cedar Creek years ago and they werent very good. My daughter got some sausage from a friend that was venison made from Becks and it was ok but didnt compare to Haens. I also like the fact that you can bring in as little as 5 pounds of meat per product that your having made. Other places are a 10 pound minimum. I also like the fact that you get 1 pound sticks of sausage back where others are 2 pound sticks so if you dont eat up the bigger sticks fast enough it goes to waste. We highly recommend Haens.

Their venison sausage is hands down, without a doubt the best youll EVER eat. I am very picky about beef summer sausage, and theirs is easily the best Ive ever eaten, and Ive tried alot. All around great family owned, community minded business. If you go on a Saturday, give yourself time, because there are lots of others who feel the same as I do 😉

Staff is so friendly and very helpful. Great customer service! The meat is awesome. Everything Ive bought there is great quality and taste. I moved to upper MI and I really miss this place. And they are the best ever for deer processing. Everyone whos tried the venison summer sausage we had made loves it and asks where we got it. We still bring our deer there, its a 3 hour drive but seriously worth it.

Amazing selection of cuts and meats. You will find something for everybody. Some things are a little pricey however it is well worth it. You get what you pay for. Theyre always kind and friendly with speedy service.

Great food and service but....I need to shy away from high fructose corn syrup and I noticed they list it as an ingredient in their salads. Maybe someday they will decide to remove it and Ill be able to enjoy their potato salad and ham salad again because it is otherwise awesome.

The meat is some of the best. Little pricey but its worth every penny. Great and friendly service. Nick is always happy to see you and gives great service.

Busy place on Saturday before noon. They moved everybody in and out, fast. Even if I had to wait longer, it would be worth the wait. The Ribeyes are awesome!

Great staff, excellent service and clean store! Every product looks fresh and I never had anything from Haen that didn’t taste amazing! My go to stop for anything meat! We also get our deer processed here and I am always impressed with the timely manner of delivery and the quality of our venison!

Not the cheapest place around, but its REAL meat. The sandwich meat, ground beef, bacon, and sausage are all great. I recommend the chicken brats as well. They grill up great and are better for your waistline. The staff is super to work with as well!

I have been buying the breakfast sausage for 25 years. I drive a hour and half to buy it and i usually get 20 pounds. I have done this for years because I couldnt find another one that was as good. The last time I purchased them, about 2 weeks ago, they were terrible!!! They had been the same for years and now they are fatty and salty with almost no maple flavor. I am so disappointed they changed, I am searching for a new brand.I am updating my review to 5 stars because I was contacted by Haens meats saying they wanted to make things right. I want to thank Tim for being so professional and understanding, it is people like him that make Haens truly special. The replacement sausage I was given is perfect, I will never doubt them again!

One of my favorites anywhere for steaks. Always a wide variety of fresh cuts and plenty of good advice when needed. Priced similar to most large chains on good cuts. If you think they are expensive, youre used to buying lesser quality meat than you will find at Haens.

This was my first time visiting and I purchased ground beef and pork chops. I made the ground beef last night and it was so flavorful! Great competitive prices for such fresh product. Will be going there from now on for my meats.

Heans makes family holidays meals so easy and good. Best ham of any place Ive tried, same with the hamburger. I never have to drain the grease when using Haen hamburger. The loaded mashed potatoes are a huge hit as well. Thank you all at Haens!!!!

Haens is THE place for thick cut bacon. Dont waste your money in the grocery store - make the drive out to Haens. The place is insanely busy Saturday morning but they are open late on Thursdays so plan your stop then.Every cut of meat Ive had has been exceptional. Do yourself a favor and try the Philly steak. And the twice baked potatoes topped with, of course, bacon.They even offer great sweets. Haens has one of the best peanut butter cookies Ive ever had.Prices are fair. Service is top notch.

Great staff, clean store and top quality products. Yes its not as cheap as Walmart but you get what you pay for. And at Hanes, its always good. Im very particular about where I get meat from. Festival is one, Maplewood is the other. Now Im happy to add Hanes to my approved list.
