I have been taking all of my vehicles to Scott and Kaysville Xpress for 15 years. I wouldnt trust anyone else to service or repair any of my vehicles. Scott and his team are always fair and honest with the work that needs to be done and the price.
I was impress with the way they did there work
Excellent service. Always fast, friendly and efficient. Goes above and beyond expectations. Would highly recommend.
I am selling my Ford E350 super Duty van. I had a girl ask me to bring it to this shop for a full inspection. They called when it was done and said they found a few minor things, windshield sprayer over spraying, lower ball joint wearing out. The girl who’s interested got a different story. The mechanic told her he’s really worried about the motor because his blew up at 150k miles. What is mechanically wrong with the motor? Where are the warning signs of the motor going out that he found? The only thing they could say was the oil is a quart low and it looks like it has been serviced recently. The oil has 700 miles on it since End of January and has been sitting this entire time. no wonder it looks new. To tell a customer not to buy a vehicle based on an opinion that has zero backing is very unprofessional. There is a chance that a motor with 150k miles will have problems in the future but there is no evidence showing it won’t go the average life of the motor of 250k plus. Thanks for your unprofessional service and lying to a person therefore making me lose the sell.
Excellent service. Friendly and caring staff. Very positive experience.
I use Kaysville Express for all my car maintenance needs. They do quality work at a fair price. I appreciate their professionalism and honesty. Best garage I have found in northern Utah.
We have used Kaysville Express for a decade or more now and been very happy! The guys do quality work and have great professionalism! The waiting room is clean and a safe, friendly environment for women & children. I highly recommend this shop for good, honest, reliable work!
Unique blend of South West and Native American flavers blended very nicely.
Scott and his team are great! Always treated me right and no gimics!!
Ive always had a good experience with these guys. Theyre pretty quick and the prices are reasonable.
Highest quality products and most knowledgeable service guys. The owner Scott takes care of me everytime I go in! My wife and I will be in for many years to come!
I love taking my car to Kaysville Xpress and have been for the last 10+ years. Their prices are fair and competitive and I never feel like I am being taken advantage of. Scott and his guys stand by their work and it’s what keeps bringing me back to them year after year.
Always great service! I have used them for several years and have always had a good experience. They even offered me a ride back to work after dropping my car off for repairs! I highly recommend them.
Always very friendly, great service and very quick
Back when I lived in Utah I took my cars here all the time. First my 1995 Toyota Tercel back in the day, then my 1997 Saturn SC1. They were honest from the get go and would plainly tell me what needed work done the most when they knew there was tons of stuff going wrong with the car but I had limited funds. They will also show you worn parts and where your car is having problems if you ask.Scott and his team got my 1997 Saturn SC1 - yes, a GM car!!! to last to 301,398 miles. Thats no joke and Ill be uploading a pic of the odometer as soon as I can. It just goes to show what two good mechanics (Scott and his team plus the mechanic I have now in California) and a good car owner can achieve - a car that was whole, mostly in one piece, with all of its necessary parts still working - to go past 300,000 miles. If you live in Davis county, and you want your car to last until the transmission literally bites it (which is what happened to the Saturn in the end) or the engine literally keels over, come here. Hell, if you want them to theyll redo your engine and your transmission and keep the car going for longer. No complaints here. My mechanic out here in California even says Scott does good work.
We moved to the area and took our toyota in for an oil change and it was $80. Surprised me a bit cause toyota has ever charged me $50. I asked them why it was $30 more, and the response was they are a small business and that their synthetic oil is better. Better than toyota genuine synthetic, specd for toyotas!? The oil change feels overpriced. Service was professional. If it wasnt for leaving on Orders so soon, I would have taken it to Toyota.
Great service and honest people. What everybody is seeking in an automotive service place. Snacks are a good too!
I will ONLY use this shop hands down. Ive gone here for years. Ive gone to a few others only because I was stranded and regret it. Jiffy Lube was the worst ever. Go see Scott and his crew. Theyre honest, reliable, dependable, knowledgeable, and just downright good people. Theyll treat ya right. I promise. :)
I had a great experience today! I took my car in, and had no one to take me home or pick me up. They offered to drive me home, and when they were done with the work my car was brought to me. I appreciated their kindness and thoughtfulness. My car was fixed fast and the cost was fair.
Kaysville Xpress is the best! Scott is personable and wants to do the right thing, whatever is best for the customer. We have been using their services for many, many years. They are fair and honest!
Scott is the kind of shop owner that makes it instantly clear why hes the only one my family and neighbors trust to take care of their cars autos. Even the highway patrol uses him on the regular. Hes serviced all my vehicles for the past year or so and I will never go anywhere else. He knows his stuff and is frank and honest in his craft.
I have been coming to these guys for 16 years, and have had them work on every car that I have owned during that time, doing everything from complicated work all the way down to oil and safety/IMs. I have total trust in them. The owners are a good honest family, and I have noticed that they only hire similar good honest techs. As they have worked on my vehicles they have always walked me through the process and ensured that I understand what is going on and answered the question of why. I have referred many people throughout the years to them and I will continue to do so without hesitation. Its not very often that you get to have a repair shop that knows what they are doing, and has been around for a very long time.
Weve used Kaysville Express for at least 15 years and have never had a bad experience. Theyre dependable and honest. You cant ask for more.
Really helped us out when we were in a bind! Got us out of there the same day! The people are great! Awesome customer service! Will definitely be going back! Thank you so much!!! Highly recommend!
I have used this place for several years now for work and maintenance on multiple cars. I dont think that they are necessarily the cheapest, but they are reasonable and have done a great job on everything I have ever brought in. I feel like they do the necessary work and nothing extra just to make a buck. If you are looking for an honest, skilled mechanic, this is the place.
The work was done well and in a timely manner but after inquiring about military discounts, we were guaranteed --rather enthusiastically-- that the discount would be applied. This is important to us because we have put a lot into our car after moving across the country for my husbands military service; we HAVE to do this. Luckily we have found multiple repair shops who are honest and gracious with military discounts. This is a great repair shop, but be prepared to have a call back indicating a much higher than quoted price and dont expect a gracious military discount, our was only $4 off the quoted price. I understand if a repair shop doesnt give military discounts, that is their prerogative entirely but it is rude to give false indication over the phone regardless of a patrons occupation.
Scott is the rudest mechanic Ive ever talked to and has no costmer service skills what so ever. He judged me by my situation instead of helping me and made me feel more helpless. I just hope my van is fixed appropriately.
This is a great place to take your car or truck. I always get treated so well here. I have had everything done from oil change, new brakes, to an entire new air conditioning system. They do their best to get you the best price and they are quick at getting your vehicle done. I take both my vehicles here and will continue to for years to come!
Fast service, snacks in waiting room w/ sodas and comfy seats
I have been going to Scott at Kaysville Express for 12 years and they have ALWAYS provided me with the BEST service. You can trust these guys to give you accurate and legit information. They will not do something that is not necessary and they will let you knowif it is necessary. They are the best AUTO SERVICE PROVIDERS EVER!!! Thank you.
Ive been taking my cars to Scott for many years now. It is so refreshing to find a mechanic that wont install parts you dont need. Today, I thought my brakes needed bled and possibly some expensive stuff done. All it was was a rear brake adjustment backwards. They turned it around the right way and didnt drain me like other places have done in the past. This is only one of many examples of their integrity. Scott is very honest and has earned my business.
Honest, professional, cost competitive, work. Replaced engine and transmission in my Dodge Dakota over the years. You can trust these guys. They do my lubes by just driving in. Give them a shot.
This is where I go for all my car stuff. Theyre great!!!
I brought my car there for an emissions test. No check engine lights on. They tested it and it barely failed. They then did several treatments to try to improve it, but only made it worse. They then advised me that the O2 sensor was seized into the manifold (I never authorized them to do any work on the O2 sensor so this seemed strange to me. I took the car and when I left the check engine light was on for the first time. I brought the car to another mechanic and they told me the O2 sensor was broken off in the manifold and the manifold was also cracked. Basically, I got to pay these guys $180 so they could break my O2 sensor and manifold and cause my check engine light to go on. Next, I get to pay another shop $400 to replace my manifold and newly broken O2 sensor. I do NOT recommend this shop for car repairs.
This is the only place in Kaysville that you can truly trust to do a good job and not rip you off. Their pricing is impeccable and my car has never driven so well.
Scott and his techs were able to diagnose and fix my car very quickly. My car is nownow runn excellently, and they provided excellent customer service all the way! Thank you!
This is my place for all things car service. They are friendly and helpful, always willing to offer options and advise the best service for cars.
Great like always!
Great place, has that small business vibe where they care about everyone all the time. I tried like 5 other places that day to get my safety and emissions done and they had huge waits bit this place I was in and out in like 15 minutes.
After bringing our vehicles here for a couple years and having a decent experience its too bad a bad experience ruined it. Bottom line, just go somewhere else. Their service and prices arent anything to write home about. Their are plenty of other companies in town.
They work fast, have the best prices in town and do a fabulous job! I would highly recommend them.
Scott... gonna really miss you guys, thanks so much for being an awesome honest business to me and our whole family for so many years... Goodluck with your retirement .The Dargers
Always Awesome Honest service.
These guys are great. They fixed a problem no one else could figure out or wanted to take the time on fire a very fair price.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They saved me thousands of dollars in repairs.
Great service. My whole family goes here.
WENT TO KAYSVILLE EXPRESS LUBE TO HAVE THE REAR MAIN SEAL REPLACED ON MY NISSAN BECAUSE OF AN OIL LEAK DRIPPING OFF MY OIL PAN DIRECTLY BELOW WHERE THE REAR MAIN SEAL IS. 2 AND 1/2 DAYS LATER WAS CALLED AND SAID THEY REPLACED THE SEAL AND THE OIL LEAK WAS STILL THERE. THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY NOTICED THAT THE OIL PAN WAS LEAKING AND WAS RUSTED OUT. THEY SAID MAYBE THAT WAS THE PROBLEM? BUT THEY HAD PUT THE THE TRUCK ALL BACK TOGETHER SO IT WOULD BE ANOTHER $800.00 TO FIX THE OIL PAN LEAK. I SAID NO THANKS AND GOT MY TRUCK BACK.TOOK IS SOMEWHERE ELSE. AND SAW WITH MY OWN EYES THAT THEY HAD PUT THE OLD TRANSMISSION OIL BACK IN MY TRUCK BUT CHARGED ME FOR A FULL SERVICE TRANSMISSION OIL CHANGE, AS WELL AS THE DID NOT CHANGE MY ENGINE OIL IN WHICH I ALSO PAYED FOR. WAS TOLD THAT THEY COULDNT GUARANTEE THEIR WORK BECAUSE THEY NEVER DID AN INITIAL CHECK TO ACTUALLY SEE WHAT WAS WRONG. ALL THEY DID WAS WHAT I TOLD THEM TO DO. AND NOW MY TRUCK IS SOMEWHERE ELSE GETTING FIXED BECAUSE THE OIL LEAK IS NOW WORSE.
Worst shop. My vehicle make has a problem sensor that fails and needs replacement every few years. This shop refused to replace the part that I asked them to without a diagnostic fee and they could not understand that nissan sells the part as a single piece and as a kit with 2 sensors for 5 dollars more. Please avoid this shop and save yourself the headache
Always entirely trustable and prompt. Always get what I need.
