Sundays are packed with everyone in town. Great service, staff is friendly and funny. Always do e to perfection.

I find the bagels are small but good. They overload with cream cheese, so buy a bagel with nothing on it, and share. The Italian sub was loaded. Although I asked for less ham and more salami, it did register. So I made a ham sandwich the next day. A half of sub is more than enough for 2 people, unless your over 200lbs.

I think its horrible that theyre microwaving the food! Im standing there wondering why dont I smell the bacon?! Or why dont I hear it sizzling on the grill? When I saw them pull the egg out the microwave it was in the shape of the container they put it in! Thats just horrible. Shear laziness if you ask me! Never Again!........Gems in Port monmouth is 10 times better.

I can’t say enough fantastic things about this establishment! They have the BEST sub salad amongst other favorites of mine and stayed opened an extra half hour for me to be able to order and get my favorite salad. Not many places do that and I truly respect the genuine hospitality received EVERY time I enter their scrumptious establishment!!!

The people are always super nice but they microwave your food instead of making it fresh at certain locations, and they put a mountain of cream cheese on your bagel. I always dont feel feel after I eat there .

Ran in today to pick up a quick brunch. Ordered the rocket on a roll with scrambled eggs and might I say.. it was absolutely delicious. Really hit the spot! Place is very clean and cute, staff was sweet, and I will be returning when in town :) Their grilled cheeses are also great! Would recommend.

The bagels are great at every Gems location. One glanced over option there, however, are their subs. Id put their sandwiches up against anyone. Paper thin meat, and piled up. Try the Happy Irishman. A personal favorite.

Good bagels, terrible coffee. Not only was it bad, but the coffee made me and my cousin have explosive diarrhea more then once. We were completely fine before the coffee, but after was an experience I will never forget. I recommend the bagels, but not the ice coffee.

Went into gems this morning and left a very happy customer. There was a tall blonde who i assumed was a manager with three helpers, one i know named Ricky or at least that is what they called him. He was the one to wait on me and was the one who had my order done quick and accurately which i loved since i was running late for work. Two other people came over and asked if i needed service as well, including the tall blonde. Everyone had a smile and was willing to help. Not only is their service great but so is the food. Thank you gems for making a former New Yorker a very happy customer, I would recommend this place to everyone

I grew up on these bagels.This was one of the very first places I came after getting off the plane this week so I would have bagels throughout my visit. Im disappointed because less than 3 days later my dozen plus bagels were moldy. Half of the bag had to be thrown out.

I had some problems sometime ago not all my fault. The workers she now are alot better & when you have that then the quality goes up.

Got a sub from here, the meats were sliced paper thin and piled on in handfuls, fresh italian roll, and wrapped in wax paper. Would go to again.
