Brought my bike in multiple times. New bike owner and bought my first, albeit not very nice, bike. And the staff here had helped me tremendously with getting it all set up and able to pass inspection. Even with loading and unloading it as I couldnt drive it yet. Even took the time to explain to me everything that was wrong and needed work. I didnt feel like I was ever talked down to or taken advantage of for my lack of knowledge. Each of the staff I have interacted with has been very nice and very helpful.

Have been in here a few times browsing and bought once probably closer to a year ago than six months now. The selection of firearms was not terrible and the counter was 100% focused on customers. Prices on firearms were on the less competitive side and they were not willing to budge so I was a little disappointed there. I understand times are tough in the 2A community right now so I didnt really press the issue. Overall a good customer experience.

Its rare Ill go online and do this, but just trying to help the consumer out. Today I made the impulsive decision of buying a Glock 43X MOS for $790 because I spent weeks trying to find one online and calling around and couldnt find one anywhere. I get a call from another gun store about 2 hours later telling me they finally have a Glock 43X MOS that arrived, and theyre selling it for MSRP at $549! In other words, they marked this seemingly hard-to-get weapon up 40%!The guy with the longer hair who works there from NY is a very nice guy, and a great asset to this business-Ive spoken with him before. And though Ive seen their super-marked up ammo prices before, as well as their bad reviews, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. After all, this weapon during these times was hard to come by.Whats the lesson here? Dont make impulsive decisions, because thats how companies like this can continue to take advantage of a (liberal) politically-charged gun climate and mark up the price of weapons by HUNDREDS of dollars. I dont blame them for trying- this is how supply and demand works, and clearly people like me help facilitate their business choices. I called them and some nice guy on the phone tried justifying it with it was better than leaving the slot early or some other lame excuse the owner probably instructed him to say. But 40% markup?Just trying to warn other gun owners out there that guns and ammo at this place are very marked up, and you can get ammo thats not marked up at sgammo online, and weapons that arent insanely marked up by 40% probably at every single other gun store out there.Expecting the owners sarcastic response below, but hopefully my post deters enough business that this stings him more than me wasting my money! Too bad his $241 profit wont undo the plethora of bad reviews of this place.

We have a Harley with a California sidecar trike conversion kit that had a broken shock. Called and talked with Doug, Made an appointment to get it repaired and serviced. What great customer service and communication. Drove 4 hours to drop off the trike. He even let us store our trailer they. The best service we have had in a great while. Kept us informed on every step of the repair. Yes we have found a new shop for service and was worth the 4 hour drive. Thanks to the staff and Doug we will be back

Very disappointed with the service and communication ☹️I called to have new tires put on my dirtbike and my main question which I asked 3 times, was how much is it to replace dirtbke tires. All three times over the phone I was told $25 per tire. So I headed down to the shop to do so, very polite and I got in quick. I provided my own brand new tires and once again asked to make sure the price was $25 per tire, and was again assured it was $25 per tire. So I dropped them off and I was contacted about 3 hours later that they were done, for a busy shop that’s pretty good. But when I was handed the bill I was furious! $201.62!!! I was charged $25 per tire, $85 in labor and another $65 for heavy duty tubes and rim strips that I did not ask for!!There was no discussion about anything other than changing over the tires which I was assured multiple times would be $25 a tire. I asked why I received new heavy duty tubes and rim strips and I was told they were heavily corroded and were dangerous, so I asked for them back so I could inspect them myself, the rear valve stem had surface rust and was easily cleaned with a wire brush. This was all last season and I’ve just replaced my rear tire myself and I was horrified by the mess I found in my rim. The “HD” rim strip was a cut peace of an old tube and was torn along with the HD tube that was permanently deformed because it was placed underneath the rim lock!! If it was not a HD tube it would have definitely popped.I cannot recommend ATM for tire service. But if you must, make sure to have a full conversation about there process and all out-the-door charges and inspect there work after if possible!!

I just paid 500$ to reconnect the factory hand switches on a 20 yr old bike. 150$ a side! And a whole array of things I didnt ask for and were never discussed. the hand switches work (for the money they should make me levitate), but now my headlight doesnt work. I got a whole shpiel about how fancy the sauder job was, and thats all wonderful, but now I have to tear into it to fix my headlight, a problem that never existed before. This invoice is a the stuff of legends. Charging extensions, spark plugs ect. All I wanted was the switches to work on my old bike. This trip broke me financially. They made sure to blame faulty wiring on the invoice, that faulty wiring got that bike to over 50,000 miles. UPDATE- Ive had the bike back for about two weeks now maybe a little less. I have had nothing but problems from a bike that I never had a single problem with before. I wish I could list everything, but there is no time. One great example is having to change out my speedo cable because it was so badly crushed under the tank that it kinked. Thats right boys n girls, a reputable shop sent me out with no.speedo, half my dash lights, no headlight at all, I had to tear the bike apart to make it road worthy again. These fuys are parts swappers at best, if you love yr bike drive directly past this money grab of an establishment. Im sure the excuses are coming, but there are none. As a contractor if did this kind of work Id not only end up n court, Id hand up my tools because I would not be able to live with taking advantage of the trust of my customers. I am very angry.

If I could give a 0 star review I would. I will not be shopping here again and neither will my 2A friends. I recently bought an IWB/Pocket holster from them that turned out to have a fatal flaw (the ambi slide lock caught on the holster every time I unholstered the gun). I tried to return my purchase with a valid receipt but was unable to when they cited COVID-19 restrictions that changed their existing return policy. When I initially purchased the holster they did not state that their return policy had changed nor was it posted for patrons to see. Had I known of this ahead of the time I made the purchase I would of held off and done more research on the product knowing I wouldnt be able to return it.I am disappointed to say the least that they arent standing behind their own products, especially when there is a huge design flaw in that product. I wish they would do the right thing and accept the return regardless of whether they can/cannot resell it due to their new COVID-19 return policy). This holster I bought is no use to me outside of transporting it safely inside of a backpack due to the fact that it isnt 100% reliable.

Poor customer service today.Came in, with a friend of mine. Both of us were interested in purchasing firearms. Guy behind the countered (motorcycle side) said hi, but didnt ask if we needed anything. Could hear gun guy in office talking, didnt come out to check on us.Im generally patient, but this is usually when an associate would say something like Hey! You got some customers out here.A few minutes later, another customer with a 3 young ladies in tow comes into the store. They push past us, and take up half the counter area. Gun guy comes out of office, doesnt ask who was there first, as apparently he knows the new customer (from their conversation), and goes directly to assist him.Another customer comes in, holding boxes of ammo. Apparently he is also here for firearm service.Meanwhile, guy behind motorcycle counter is watching all this. Doesnt bother to ask if anyone needs help. Doesnt come to assist. Didnt mention to the other guy that we had been waiting. He didnt have any customers of his own, just watched the line form up at the other counter, completely uninterested.1. Pretty bad that the one employee chooses people he knows, or attractive females over customers that had been waiting.2. Really bad that the other employee saw at least 7 customers at the counter, and didnt bother to help.No excuse for this.Edit to respond to the stores responsemy name is doug mulligan.....what you stated is bewildering to me....my Dad would kick my butt if i did what you suggested. i noticed you dont have a good thing to say about anybody in your prior reviews. please come back into our store & introduce yourself to us & i will do my best to make it worth your while. we certainly apologize if this if how you were treated...my only excuse would be that the woman must have been exceptionally nice & caught all out attention along with her children. s_ _ _ happens & we are far from perfect but we keep trying.1. my Dad would kick my butt if i did what you suggested. What? Address your customers in the order in which they arrive, instead of showing favoritism or sexism? Thats a problem with your Dad, not my suggestion. Have your other employees assist an employee that is overwhelmed? Thats a problem with teamwork in your store.2. i noticed you dont have a good thing to say about anybody in your prior reviews. Youre implying what? That the fact that my 3 reviews are negative somehow diminishes the validity of my complaint? Bad experiences leave an impact. When things go well, you forget all about it. I guarantee you dont leave positive reviews for every place you go to, where you get the level of service you expect.2. my only excuse would be that the woman must have been exceptionally nice & caught all out attention along with her children. What children? It was a guy, and 3 young ladies. All in late teens or early 20s.And no, they werent exceptionally nice. Run of the mill customers. Unless youre implying they were nice to look at, but surely youre not THAT sexist. And they certainly didnt catch all of your attention, because no one came to help. So, the question is, Doug...why are you offering excuses at all? And criticizing a customer who has a complaint?Wouldnt an appropriate response be Its unfortunate that you had a negative experience in our store. Im not sure why additional employees did not assist when our firearm counter seemed overwhelmed. This is something we will address so it does not happen again. I invite you back into our store, and please ask for me directly so that we can ensure that your concerns have been met.

Boy all I can think of is all these folks that are giving one stars NEVER dealt with that Japanese manufacturer dealer that was over on Mechanic Street below the bowling alley years ago! They held the corner on RUDE and cant fix a thing. Many may not remember the place now, but I sure do. I havent dealt with ATM for a few years, but when I did the service was above reproach! I had a 1982 Suzuki, still do. They serviced it, and cringed when I asked to get parts for it, yet they found them (carb slides). Brought the bike there for service and it was excellent! Doug never had to do this, but when I moved to the UK he came and helped load and secure the bike in the container. You wont find a better repair shop anywhere. Always helpful with accessories, getting the right fit for a helmet, riding suit too. Had a problem with the suit pants, none to be found in my size, back ordered, Doug always kept me posted on the order progress.

Stay away from this place if you need an FFL to take delivery of a firearm. If there is a delay in your background check, (which nowadays there always is) even though the law says he may turn it over to you, he doesnt HAVE to, and he wont. Not only that, but he found a way to screw me out of a hundred bucks for transfer and other fees. So if you need someone to sit on your new gun for a month or more, by all means go here. My advice is to go to a REAL firearms dealer.

In short, now adays things are cheapend and over priced. A.T.M has all the good from years past, and some items you cant even find online anymore. Luckily they hold on to these things for us. They could easily keep them for themselves and buy the new more expensive and yet cheapened versions to sell to the customer. but they dont and I could never imagine them doing that. My father recently brought his R1 into this place for an oil change and had also ordered some extra parts that arent necessarily needed but he wanted to tune up the bike. Since the weather has been so nice he wanted to go and pick up the bike until the parts came in so he could enjoy riding it. When he called (on speakerphone) he spoke with Doug, who couldnt tell him when the parts were going to be in and to me sounded very annoyed and barked at him that these were genuine Yamaha parts. Not sure what that has to do with the amount of shipping time but my dad told him he wanted to come and pick up the bike and asked how much he owed for the services already rendered. Doug told him there was no way to know that. My father asked him to just add up whatever work was completed and give him the bill for it. After a long sigh and some shuffling and more utterances of how this task was apparently beyond his mental capacity, he hung up on my dad. My dad called him back and asked why he hung up on him. Doug told him, I DONT HAVE TIME FOR THIS! I have a meeting to go to later. Like my dad was asking for the blueprints to a space shuttle or something and refused to give him an estimate. Completely uncalled for and unreasonable. We are just going to pick up the bike tomorrow, hopefully 24 hours is enough time for him to learn how to subtract.

Biggest rip off in the area. The owner is a con artist. After looking over my bill they charged 30% over MSRP on parts. Avoid the dumpster fire at all costs. The repair of the rear carrier and bearings lasted a year. I finely got around to ordering the parts from Troy powersports referenced the part numbers and unfolded the price gouging. Stay away. Secondly I told them at the time of my needed repair what I wanted and needed done. Later found a diag charge on my bill of $44.84, $12.85 to test my battery which was near new and many other charges right down to setting my tire pressure. They charge you for chain wax being $9.95 which is $6.96 a can and maybe uses 1/10th of it. Unless you want to get burned seek another option.

Summary:charged me $120 to replace a $13 rear tire tube on my motorcycle. They either damaged or replaced my rear sprocket with an old beat up sprocket. The owner met me in the parking lot and told me off because i complained about my experience to the guy behind the counter.Whole story to the best of my recollection:Had a flat tire on my motorcycle while driving into Keene. Because American trike was the only motorcycle shop I could find in Keene, I dropped it off with them in the morning. They said they would be happy to fix the flat tire that day. They called me after looking at the flat and told me the tube needed to be replaced and the tire was fine. When the bike was ready, they called me to say the bill was $127.00. They proceeded to tell me that my rear sprocket also needed to be replaced. When I told them that the sprocket was only 1 year old and couldnt possibly need to be replaced, they told me I would need to sign a waiver because the sprocket was dangerously damaged. When I picked up the bike, I saw that the rear sprocket was not only badly worn, but prongs were actually broken off. I went in to pay the bill and told the guy behind the counter that not only did they rip me off by charging 120 for a $13 tube, they also either damaged or replaced my rear sprocket with an old broken one. When I went outside the building to drive my motorcycle home, the owner (I believe his name was Doug) came out after me. When I put my hand out to introduce myself he said I dont want to shake your hand. He then began telling me off! I pointed out the fact that not only were the chain and sprocket only one year old but the front sprocket still looked new. I also explained that charging a person $120 to replace a rear tire tube that only cost $13 was robbery. I had no choice but to pay these people, but hopefully this review will save someone else from ending up in the same situation. I should have read the reviews of this place before letting them touch my bike. There appear to be many others who have shared my bad experience.

I was less then impressed with this place. When I first went in to look at getting a scooter, it was a Saturday, and they said they would sell it to me and then buy it back at the end of the summer. Since I am only here for the summer. Andy said that he would get it into the shop to do a check up on it on Monday, and have it ready for me on Wednesday. And that he would email me on Monday or Tuesday with the buy back agreement.I didnt hear from him until I called him on Tuesday wondering what was going on. He said he still didnt have the details hammered out and he would call by 10am on Wednesday. I called him at 11am on Tuesday when I hadnt heard from him, he told me they would pay me back less then half of what I would buy the scooter for, and that they still needed to get it into the shop even though hed said they would have it ready for me by then.I looked at a few other bikes and scooters they had, and even though they were more expensive, they were still going to give me the unfair deal of buying it back for less then half of what I had paid for it. And they said the soonest they could have the scooter ready was in a week.I felt that he was rude to me and wasnt sorry for the promise he broke to me. He doesnt follow through on his word and will then proceed to try and screw you over. I do not suggest working with these people.I then went to Full Throttle in Swanzy, and they were much nicer and willing to work with me. I would suggest going to Full Throttle instead.

I wouldn’t even give it one star but it made me give a star. I don’t even know the name of the person I had the pleasure talking to but he said he was the owner? They were asked and we were quoted a brake service - $85 for everything. They said the battery was bad, okay $90 right? Not when we got the bill, for almost 300$!!!!! The battery was 126$ on the bill. They gave us a BUNCH of scenarios and estimates for something that ended up being just a gear replacement. They even said and I quote “I just want tour money”.What made me upset enough to write this, is that they sent us home the night before, even though we told them they could just fix it and we’d pay whatever, with “sit on it, you’re emotional” —— and the next day they give us a bill for stuff they didn’t even fix!We were taken advantage of and their eyes are all brown. It was a last resort to go there anyways, as we have been screwed over before. But now, they’re completely out of the question.

They make an effort to understand what application you’d be using a firearm (ie: sporting, home defense, carry, collection etc.) to help you chop through the weeds of internet folklore or your uncle at the cookout telling you anything besides a S&W .45 is a subpar manufacturer or round. Getting back on track to the review. I’ve now done over 80% of my business here for my gas-powered and powder-powered toys and every experience here has been exceptional. I either learn something new or have to google more information about a topic or product I hadn’t heard of. If they don’t have it in stock, they can usually get it to you before the weekend. NEVER GO HERE! This place has always gotten a lot of business from my boyfriend until now and every time you call this place the old guy If very rude over the phone. Anyway he brought one of his tires from his dirt bikes in a while ago to get a plastic piece in his tire so the spokes dont puncture the tube. His tire just got a flat so he went to replace it himself to find that they had used electrical tape not the stuff they were supposed to do! Another reason why we will never go there is because after that tire he thought he liked the place so we went back to get his other dirt bike tires switched to different rims. We had brought them on a Friday afternoon well before they closed. We had told them they need to be done for 10 am Saturday morning since he was planning to go to the track at 11 that sat. We got there around 10 am that next day to pick them up to find they were in the same place!!! Untouched! As soon as he saw us he wouldnt even look at us or say anything to us. We waited for 10 mins before he finally went around the counter and took them out back. We ended up waiting for 3 hours for those two tires!!! Right at that three hour mark I was so mad that I decided to go to the truck so I wouldnt flip on this old guy. As I was walking to the door, the tires were sitting right inside the door all done. They had walked around the building to put them there and never told us they were done! This is only two incidences out of the many that we have had with them. They are aweful workers and clearly dont care about their customers. If I could give them a negative five star review I 100% would. I would never recommend this store to anyone! They also over charge and told us numerous things needed to be replaced when they didnt and things were broken when we got it back.

Doug sold me a VT600 which, while being at a fair price, he had charged me for servicing before delivery, and it was obviously not done. The chain was red with rust. When I went in to get prices today, he chastised me in front of the store because I went elsewhere to buy tires and wanted him to mount them. He tells me $36 a wheel, no wait now its $47 a wheel because of some mystery insurance. He does this all the time. The price he quotes is not the price you will receive. Their service is slow, and theres always some excuse why your bike is not ready, As for the VT600 issue, I brought it up today after he talked to me like a child in the store. He told me anyone can make a mistake and it was MY fault for not bringing it up at the time! Really Bro? Maybe you and your mechanics need to do a better job. Its a shame because Andy, who also mans the counter, is the nicest man in the world. Unfortunately I will not be seeing him anymore as the owner is enough to drive you away forever. There are other choices in the area. I suggest you go elsewhere.Update on your response - A Vt600 has one carb, what were you syncing it to? Clueless. But Im sure I got charged for it just the same.

These guys do a great job, they try their best and thats all I ask for as a customer. If you had a bad experience there, chances are its because you were an impatient, whiny, arrogant customer, who has no knowledge of motorcycle repair or how dealers work. You treat them with respect and they will do the same. Dont walk in the door with an attitude or while being late to be somewhere.I work on my own bikes and restore old junk, and these guys have been a real help whenever I have questions, need parts ordered, or work done that I am too lazy to do myself. You have to understand shops work by the hour, not by the difficulty of the job when it comes to price. I cant imagine doing their job, or how frustrating it is dealing with rude customers, or ones who cant even change their own oil, and then complain about the price of having someone else do it for them.Firearms, accessories of all sorts, motorcycles, scooters, helmets, chrome, atvs. They have a little bit of everything at a fair price.

When I recently went to pick up my motorcycle after having some work completed, the company pet dog bit my daughter twice. When I emailed the owner Doug about this he mocked me and made fun of my daughter for having been bitten. No people skills what-so-ever. He didnt even apologize, I will never conduct business with these people again. Enter at your own risk, I wouldnt recommend bringing small children into this establishment. Luckily my daughter is an adult and the damage was just some bruising but if it had been a smaller child that had been playing with the dog and maybe irritating it, who knows how bad the damage could have been.

I purchase a trike kit for my 2010 Honda Goldwing, a couple of years ago, and I have to say that Doug and his gang did a wonderful job on my bike.. I have had zero problems, with the trike, even after a couple of years and approx 10,000 (s)miles later.. When ever I call the dealership, I receive a very nice professional welcome..I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ATM and their service and work... I have recommended many of my friends, to Dougs dealership, to have their bikes triked out! Thank you! Doug(I have to say that I totally love my triked out Goldwing, so much that Iprobably have ten + coats of wax on the bike) [Everytime it rains, I have to sit in my garage, and give her another wax job]Ronnie McClementsSpringfield, Massachusetts

The folks who work at American trikes and motorsports are always very helpful. They do my annual inspection on the goldwing(as well as all my previous bikes) and I have never had an issue. They have always been prompt on service and helpful with any questions I have. If they dont have an answer, they will tell you they dont have an answer. Doug is very knowledgeable not only in the motorsports side of the business but also in the firearms aspect as well. I have a Browning on hold there. They love to work with the customer so that at the end of it all they leave happy. They have definitely earned my repeat business!!

Worst value you could get in this industry. I brought a moped in to get some service and received an outrageous bill. Not only that but was the work not completed in a timely manner. $17.50 for a battery charge. Inspect and report $42.75. Ridiculous
