Went past JCPenney to take advantage of the Store Closing clearance sales. Sorry to see them go. They are a great store with good quality items. I made out GREAT. Got my son (8) shirts, a pair of jeans, a pack of boxer briefs, and a water bottle for $85 bucks, saved $151 bucks. They still have a good selection. An KUDOS to the staff, the clothing departments are very well organized with what sizes are where and for how much. An for the store to be closing, it was not messy or chaos. The staff was very friendly. FYI: all sales are final, being that they will be closing. Its worth a trip there!!!

Store closing sale was awesome, of course. Lots of great clothes for up to 90% off. Cant beat that.

Great place to shop for a variety of clothing and other personal products. Good prices - Ive been shopping there for many years. Only problem is my personal preference is button-down collars and there were very, very few in one small rack. Am I too old-fashioned? 😁 Ill continue to shop there for the quality of the goods and the prices, and hope that button-downs make a comeback.

Couldnt find an article of clothing here that was my size and fit me well. Im a bigger guy with even bigger feet and struggled to and anything worth purchasing.Girlfriend managed to score some goodies in the clearance section, but nothing for me!

Slow checkout lines everytime I am there, but the store is clean and reasonably organized.

Theres really not much left there and they havent really reduced the price its too bad my late arent used to work for JCPenney 30 years ago did the catalog business too but times change.

Nice selection of merchandise even so close to Christmas

I needed a new suit, as I am getting married next month, and like most guys my age I hadnt the foggiest what size any portion of my body was, other than my waist. Even then it was specific to what pair of Levis I could button without inflicting pain, or worse, bunching the front and allowing my belt to bear the load.Needless to say I was totally overwhelmed, standing in what may as well have been a jungle of clothes that as a carpenter were totally foreign to me.As I was about to chalk it up to a loss and tell my wife to be that Jeans and a button down were going to be the best that I could do I was approached by a friendly, understanding and knowledgable young lady equipped with a tape measure, a smile, and a fully developed understanding of just what needed to happen to fulfill not only my needs but those of my beautiful wife to be.As I mentioned I work a very physical job, so my body is shaped in such a way that any jacket that fit my shoulders and arms was designed for someone much taller, not a problem. A few minutes later my entire ensemble was ordered. And on its way to my local JC penny. Problem solved! Two shirts later and I was out the door and onto the rest of my life, with a very special lady! Intimidated by fashion (as I was) give the ladies at jc penny a try, you just might find that the 6 that you thought you were. Might be closer to a 9!🔥

My family went in to purchase an engagement ring, but instead, they walked out with nothing. They were prepared to spend a good chunk of change on this ring, had it not been for the rude and assuming woman behind the counter. Now, my boyfriend makes over $70,000 a year, but yet because he was wearing regular blue jeans and a t-shirt, this woman ASSUMED that he could not afford the higher priced jewelry. Her exact comment was...Im sorry sir, but this is the more expensive line of jewelry.After speaking with the manager, he clearly stated that the only thing he could do was retrain his staff. There was no offer of anything to make the situation better, or to justify how we felt! So, this store just lost our business and we will NEVER be back! They will be lucky if we ever spend money there again. Its pretty sad really, that woman and manager should be ashamed of themselves. They are really lucky I was not there, they may have had a big scene on their hands.

Store is big. Prices are reasonable. Staff(3 girls) were more busy talking about valentines dates on the floor folding clothes then helping me when I needed it. Unprofessional.

The internet says your open and the sign on the door says closed and Ive just watched so many people try to open the door as I sit here and write this. I just drove all the way over here for nothing! Update your hours online!

I am very frustrated shopping at your store in Keene, NH as of late. The items are packed so tightly on the racks you cant browse. Things continually fell off the hangers and onto the floor, and when I expressed my concerns, the clerk merely shrugged and said, I know. The customer service clerk had to walk with me to each rack as mine of my items would ring up the correct sale price. She was very willingly to help but clearly frustrated with the incorrect pricing. This is the third time in the last few weeks that the computers did not have the correct price. I have shipped this store for twenty years and it seems things are slipping. My willingness to struggle with these issues is wanning, I hope this can be addressed. Thank you.

The store had exactly what I wanted, on sale and on a reasonable price. I went to Kohls first but was disappointed there. I also tried a shoe store, but their prices were outrageousI should have gone to JC Penney first.

Great selection and excellent clearance items but as all retail goes normal priced items were high but store was very clean and staff were welcoming, patient with my 4 kids while shopping and very polite.

These are some of the nicest retail workers I have ever met. I know there are a lot of JCPenneys in the world but this one really she owes more like a local store just because of the way the staff smile at you♾.

Styles have really become unattractive. Even liz Claiborne that I have always loved - cheap material and ugly. All the big clearance items are clumped in the back of the store....hard to put outfits together. Always lived this store but in the last year it has really gone downhill.

Women made us feel dumb and like we didnt belong in there. We spent almost $300 on a suit coat to walk out in the weather with a plastic bag on it. Needless to say it got wet.

Tried to call the Appliance Dept at 5:45pm....no one answered. Dialed for Operator....no one answered amd the robo center ended my call. So the Store has missed a sale on large refrigerator...moved on. Sorry to see this happen.

Friendly & polite employees

Not like it used to be, poorly staffed, no waiting chairs at changing rooms or anywhere else and now just a single long checkout line (with 3 out of 4 registers sitting idle) at the service booth.
